We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Joe from Amplified Events! He DJ’d our wedding at Walden on July 3rd, and he was fantastic from start to finish. Joe was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process. During our prep meetings, he made thoughtful song suggestions that fit our style perfectly and helped us make decisions we hadn’t even considered. He listened to what we wanted, communicated clearly, and made everything feel seamless. Our ceremony music was perfectly timed, and he helped create such a beautiful atmosphere.
Once the reception started, Joe absolutely delivered. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, played an amazing mix of music, and did a great job taking guests’ song requests while keeping the energy high.

The app that they use is super easy and user friendly as well and made selecting music leading up to the reception very simple and stress-free. Joe’s assistant Cole was awesome too! He had great energy and even took extra bonus pictures throughout the night which turned out to be awesome! He captured so many fun moments for us that we didn’t even know we needed!
We also loved the app they use to keep our songs organized and ensure they played the hits we wanted. Joe also did the music and audio for the ceremony and the sound was perfect!

He answered all of our questions in a timely and thorough manner. The sound/music for the ceremony was absolutely perfect and the customizable add on’s like dinner on vinyl, live music during cocktail hour, and the photo booth were so much fun! Mike kept us on track with our timeline and was flexible and calm with changes that came up throughout the reception. He even went so far as to download a song request for a guest. We got so many compliments on the music and personalized touches. The dance floor playlist was everything we could have hoped for. It was so special to have all of our loved ones out on the dance floor having a great time with us. I can’t recommend Mike and Amplified Events enough!

Jacob was our lead DJ on the day of, and he absolutely crushed it. He played a variety of music, kept the energy up, and had all of our guests on the dance floor all night. ook a DJ last minute. I called Mike at 11:30 that morning, and he showed up at our venue at 1:30 to begin setting up for our 4:30 outdoor ceremony/reception. I sat down with Mike for ~30 min to run through the details, because time was obviously limited.
I’m so glad we went with Mike: he did an incredible job setting up reception audio, was able to independently solve problems as they came up, did a great job MC’ing, and kept the party going late into the night! His music setup was great, and he was able to handle last minute requests like “play about 30 seconds of this song” with ease! Cannot recommend him enough.

big day, Mike was extremely professional and easy to work with. He arrived with ample time to set up. Amplified Events DJ booth looked very classy and tied into our decor perfectly. We had a lot of specific timings that we wanted songs to place (trying to have some movie moments, ya know?) and Mike executed everything SO perfectly to bring our dreams to life.
