DJ Alex did an amazing job! Total pro and made our daughter's wedding event so fun and meaningful! He listened and had fun with their array of song choices and mixing their music style into the event beautifully! We couldn't be happier with how it all went and would highly recommend AMS Entertainment and DJ Alex for anyone's future events!

AMS was such an easy way for us to get the whole package without going out of our budget!! We opted for a DJ (Emil), 2 hours of Skyline Duo (violin & cello), and 3 hours photobooth rental (Juan). One of the BEST moments of the night was when our DJ replayed our vows back to us against the track of our first dance song. This was an UNFORGETTABLE gift! The Skyline Duo had a clear outline of music needed for the entire ceremony and cocktail hour (also included suggestions and popular requests) The photobooth coordinator was able to create a fully custom photo strip with the images we sent in which was an awesome touch to have! Our photobooth props did have some questionable signage that didn't seem suited for the theme, but not a major complaint.

Alex made our wedding such a special event. He was able to get the crowd going and handled the MC portions perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better MC and DJ in Alex. Several people said they loved him and we couldn’t agree more. Thanks for making our special day that much better.

We loved working with AMS for our wedding. Their process was super simple, their costs were clear, and there were no hidden or surprise fees. We were super impressed with our DJ Alex, and my husband and I both agreed that Alex was our "sleeper hit" of the night. He was calm, genuine, discreet, and professional. I think my husband especially formed a bond with him when Alex provided some quick tips as he was mic-ing him up for the ceremony. We kept getting compliments on the music all night, and the dance floor was never empty. I loved that during our private last dance Alex was by the doors, making sure no one was trying to come back in, and it gave us an added sense of privacy. Our wedding was amazing and Alex was a big part of that.

Scott was fantastic!! Everything ran smoothly and his music choices were excellent! I don't think I've ever been to a wedding without a single audio issue so I'm glad ours was perfect. The levels were perfect and speakers clear throughout which isn't easy for an outdoor wedding. I can't express how happy we are with him!

We hired AMS entertainment as DJ for our wedding in St.Helena this spring. Joe helped us coordinate beforehand and Alex served as our DJ on site. Joe is very responsive and easy to communicate. Alex was awesome too. Really exceeded our expectation for DJs. We really appreciated his professionalism and choice of music. Alex ensured that he put our requests and feelings first. We didn't specified a lot of songs except for the ceremony enter, exit, etc. Several guests mentioned to me afterwards that the music choice before ceremony really fit the vibe. Also since we named a couple uncommon foreign music choices, with artists name in mandarin characters, adding some challenges to the job. But Alex nailed it. Everything is perfect! Would highly recommend their service.

I cannot express enough how happy we are with Alex and AMS, and the work you all did on our wedding day! The event went perfectly and he did a great job of keeping things running smoothly, listening to our music preferences, and keeping the party going. My husband specifically requested no LMFAO knowing his siblings would request it to annoy him, and Alex kindly let them know he couldn’t play it when they did go and request Party Rock Anthem. He was the best!

AMS is SO great to work with, and our DJ Alex was nothing short of amazing. AMS is super communicative and fast to answer any questions you might have. They have a great questionnaire that is easy to fill out and your assigned DJ really takes the time to get to know the music and the couple. Literally every song Alex played at our wedding was one of our favorites and he played them in an order that kept everyone dancing the whole time. AMS and our DJ, Skip, were absolutely wonderful. Joe and Skip were so easy to work with. Skip is a great guy who totally understood our vibe and approached our wedding without any ego. As soon as we met with him, we felt at ease, and we got the sense that he was really listening to what we wanted. And at the wedding, Skip went above and beyond expectations - he not only used the music we suggested but mixed in requests from friends and family and read the room so well. We got so many compliments that the "playlist was fire," the "music was poppin," and that it was the most fun dance floor people had ever experienced at a wedding. Cannot recommend AMS enough!

Hello Joe! We did have an amazing event! And it does take a great team of people to make it happen! The best compliment that I can give as the mother of the bride and hostess of the event is that everything appeared to be seamless! Compliments on the execution of the sound system on all three floors! The microphones on all floors worked perfectly, the dinner music and DJ hosting was lovely, the jazz lounge was according to plan and the dance floor in the cave was jumping! DJ Alex was very flexible with the bride and groom prior to the wedding, and the night of he was very professional, competent, and a great addition to our team. My husband and I cannot say enough great things about our experience with AMS entertainment. Alex was our DJ and he did an absolute amazing job at reading the room. We gave him quite the challenge with our music selections as it range from English and Spanish genres but he handled it amazingly well. Highly highly recommend! My wife and I were married in June 2023 and we went with AMS, after going to a friend’s wedding where they also went with AMS. It turned out that we ended up getting the same DJ as our friends (Rod) and he was fantastic! Rod provided a lot of good feedback for us during the planning portion but always let us ultimately make the final calls on how the music would be on our day. He ran the music for our ceremony perfectly and nailed all the first dances and dinner announcements. The dancing portion was so awesome - he had everyone going right up until the end of the wedding. I can’t recommend Rod and the entire AMS team strongly enough! Some of the best money we spent. Thanks again Rod for an unforgettable day!

Alex did a fantastic job DJing and keeping everyone on the dance floor. We were excited about the music and dancing leading up to the wedding but did not expect to be on the dance floor the whole time! Seeing everyone dancing and enjoying themselves made our night even more special. He did an excellent job leading us through the different events of the night. It felt seamless and easy; we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy ourselves. We really enjoyed working with him!

AMS, specifically our DJ Andy, was absolutely fantastic! We used them for our wedding just a couple weeks ago and we couldn't have picked a better company! Andy was top notch! He was professional, prompt, and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. He kept the timing of events that day go by so well that I didn't have to think about a thing. Additionally, the Photo Booth was a huge hit. And they were able to send me a digital copy of every single photo that was taken throughout the evening. Would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone!

We had the best experience with our DJ, Emil! He was beyond amazing!! I had multiple guests come up and express how awesome our DJ was. All around a great experience with AMS. The event planner they use to organize your event was user friendly and super helpful. Joe was friendly, helpful, easy and clear to communicate with, always responsive to emails! We appreciate that! AMS was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and we are so happy for it! We loved that they present themselves as "no cheese" which was a big factor for us when making decisions on music. Our DJ, Emil, was fantastic, included all of our requested songs and supplemented with music with a similar vibe. He did a great job, reading the room, keeping the energy up and took requests from our guests that kept everyone on the dance floor. For our wedding reception we just wanted it to feel like a fun party and AMS definitely delivered!

Andy from AMS did a great job DJing our wedding. I loved the option to pre-select songs (even ones that we didn't want to be played) for the wedding. The planning process was very streamlined and professional, and all done online. Andy then called us prior to the wedding to run through everything, and emailed us to let us know it was all ready. We appreciated how thorough everything was. Thank you, highly recommend!

AMS Entertainment and our DJ, Alex, couldn't have been better to work with! We had very specific playlists for every part of our day and were initially on edge about how the DJ would handle only playing the songs we chose (and at the appropriate parts of the day - cocktail hour, early dance, late dance, etc.). Once we had our initial call with Alex, all of the anxiety went out the window. Day of, Alex crushed it and mixed the songs to perfection. We received a ton of compliments on the music and dancing, and everyone had such a great time. Would 100% book again if we ever need a DJ in the future.

AMS was super helpful in communicating with us about song choices and ensured everything went smoothly on our wedding day. The guests commented on how much they loved the music and the dance floor never emptied. I also loved that we could book a photo booth through them, which the guests all loved as well.

AMS provided the audio for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at Viansa Sonoma. Clear communication leading up to the event, audio quality was clear, and DJ Alex was very pleasant to work with. AMS worked well with our other vendors and made helpful announcements throughout our event. DJ Alex played many of the songs we indicated we liked and incorporated other songs that we also liked. I'd hire AMS and would recommend them to my friends.

We hired DJ Skip for our wedding with about 75 guests. We gave him a short list of songs that we liked. Mainly top hits from the '00s and '10s, with some older music mixed in. DJ Skip did a great job of blending the older and newer music so that there was something for everyone at our reception. He got the vibe we were going for just right. Our reception was a nerdy bunch, full of engineers and PhDs. He got them all on the dance floor at our reception, and we had a great time!

Working with AMS was extremely easy from start to finish. Their co-owner Joe was in constant contact with us whenever we needed or had any questions. Upon signing up, they sent us a really convenient online planning sheet and playlist builder which was extremely helpful for ensuring we had all our special songs picked out in addition to helping us embody the vibe we were looking for overall throughout the evening. Alex was the DJ for our event and he was SO kind and friendly. We spoke a few times before and went over song choices and ideas; he instilled great confidence that the night would be just what we were looking for and he absolutely hit the nail on the head! All throughout the wedding Alex was a fun presence who helped our guests get in the groove and also was a fabulous MC for the events throughout the reception. From ceremony to the very last dance of the night, Alex executed our vision flawlessly and was an absolute pleasure to work with.

The entire AMS team was exceptional throughout the planning stages and with the event itself. Joe was always quick to respond and answer any questions, Katrina (Katie) was incredibly helpful with coordinating songs for the skyline duo, and DJ Rod’s amazing attitude and collaboration made the night a huge success on the dance floor. I would give this team my highest recommendation!

We have zero regrets booking our photobooth, dance lighting, and DJ through AMS. DJ Rod was super helpful throughout the process, probably the most professional vendor we worked with and oftentimes had more helpful advice than our own wedding coordinator! He was extremely experienced and could talk to past weddings he'd performed at our venue, and the small mistakes he'd seen couples make in the past to help us avoid them. Rod went way above and beyond, did a great job helping our wedding run smoothly, and made sure to make the wedding about us as a couple and not him as a personality. I would not hesitate to book an event with AMS again.

We had DJ Alex and he was a dream to work with. He had great suggestions on the flow of the event and was able to make all of my ideas work. He was also very responsive and attentive to our needs. Overall, great experience with this company.

Our DJ, Alex, was incredible. He knew exactly what vibe we were going for after a short call before the wedding. He was professional and very aware of everything that was happening during the evening. My Maid of Honor found out she had COVID the day before the wedding and Alex was able to help us with playing a recorded version of her speech. He handled everything with such poise and calmness. We had a fantastic experience dealing with AMS for a wedding DJ and photo booth. Our DJ Alex was a pleasure to work with and managed the entire thing seamlessly. We hired AMS Entertainment for our wedding last weekend and Alex did not disappoint! We had a call with Alex a few weeks before our wedding to cover all songs and the flow that we wanted, and he crushed every part of it! We wanted a specific part of a song to play once we kissed and he got it right on cue. He also played ALL the hits and our dance floor was amazing all night long. We used AMS for our August 2022 wedding at Arista Winery in Healdsburg and I highly recommend them. We booked them back in 2019 so I've had a lot of conversations with Joe over the past 3 years on rescheduling and rescheduling. He has always been very patient and responsive with my questions. Our DJ Skip was amazing and a true professional. I really appreciated that he reached out to us about 2 weeks prior to our wedding to talk through all of our music and reconfirm our special songs. He reassured us that he gets to the venue super early and double checks everything to make sure it sounds just right (and it did). He knew the right moment to play our favorite songs and really read the crowd well. I had so many people tell me how much fun they had dancing and could they get our playlist (which of course was mainly DJ Skip). It really was a special day and I never ever had to worry about the music/sound/playlist details. I wish we could have kept dancing into the night. Joe recommended renting their lawn games since we had about 20 kids at our wedding and that was a huge hit for everyone.

Emil was the DJ for our wedding and did a fantastic job! We could not have been happier with the music selection and way he led us through the structured part of the night and kept the energy up all the way until the end. What can I say - Emil made the night an absolute hit. My wife and I so appreciated his partnership throughout the day. From the timing he had during our ceremony to the curated cocktail hour playlist to narrating the entire evening, we honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ throughout the night. Not to mention Emil was able to seamlessly transition across genres and generations of music throughout the night. Everything was so seamless and much of that can be attributed to his experience and skill. The ultimate ending was playing “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen at the end of the night - I think I lost my voice from screaming too much. Again, we can’t thank Emil enough for everything and making our night unforgettable.

Our DJ Alex was wonderful! He knew exactly how to read a room to choose the best music for the energy, and helped make seamless transitions from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. He was detail oriented and the quality of the sound was fantastic throughout the day, even during a windy ceremony. He was also very friendly and comforting and made sure to check in with our family/friends speaking before giving the mics. One of them even let us know his calm energy helped them get over their nerves before their toast. Lastly, the whole AMS team was great to work with throughout the whole process - highly recommend!

Andy was our DJ for our wedding at Vine Hill House and he did an amazing job emceeing and keeping the dance floor going! Working with AMS was an easy process and their planning form helped us to know what music we should plan for. The dancing selection was great and Andy did a great job of matching the music to the audience on the floor!

Our DJ, Andy, was fantastic! Andy and the rest of the AMS team were highly professional and communicated with us throughout the planning process. My husband and I are not big dancers and we like a variety of music. Andy was very understanding and accommodating. For example, he suggested guests join half way through the first dance song so attention was not on us the whole time and we loved this idea! Additionally, he asked my permission respectfully and on the sly when a guest wanted to say a speech but was not on the list. Further, he also checked in with us throughout the night making sure we were satisfied and we knew what was coming next. The dancing music was a big hit! Andy really listened to our music interests and played a great variety of music! He even took notice of my DJ notes and gave a shout out to a guest for their recommendation which was requested! Overall, we really enjoyed Andy and the music. Our day was perfect and Andy was an important part of our day and making it all happen!

AMS was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We are not from the area so we had limited ability to do research on our own, but boy are we glad that we listened to our planner! Skip joined us on our wedding day and he was absolutely incredible. We had a meeting two weeks before the wedding to go over logistics and he was very thorough. Our wedding day came and went off without a hitch! Our dance floor was packed the whole night, in no small part thanks to Skip being able to read the room and play songs that get the people going. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding a success! One of our guests even asked for Skip's name so they could use him at their wedding next year. That's how great he did. I would unequivocally recommend him and AMS.

We used AMS for our June 2022 wedding at Vine Hill House, and couldn’t be happier!! From my earliest discussions with Joe, he gave patient, straight answers to my many, many questions. The online planning tools and forms that are provided once we signed up were super easy and helpful, and made sure we accounted for everything.  Our DJ, Emil, was a superstar! He was generous with his time in advance of the wedding, helping us get all the details nailed down and offering helpful advice on some facets we hadn’t even thought of.  On the wedding day, he did a great job with the sound for the ceremony and reception (good quality, appropriate volume level), his talking was silky-smooth, zero cheese, and totally confident and professional, and his choices for dance music were perfect!! I would have never guessed that my friends and family would dance that much, but he kept 'em on the dance floor right to the end!  Adding this for those who, like me, initially had a bit of sticker shock at the prices for wedding DJ’s in Sonoma County, and had friends asking “why not save the $$, bring your own small PA, and just use Spotify playlists”. The answer is “you get what you pay for” (in a good way). I’d first note that when I did “apples-to-apples” comparison shopping with other top-rated DJ’s, AMS was in line with their pricing. AMS’ package - which they coordinate with Vine Hill House - includes everything (mics, separate ceremony/dancing and dinner speakers…) and there were no add-on charges, upsell requests, or surprise charges. MOST importantly, they are experienced professionals who know the importance of the event, know they only have one chance to do it right, and they delivered perfectly…they are well worth every cent!! We're thrilled we went with AMS as their experience and professionalism helped make our special day more amazing that we could have imagined!

We hired AMS to DJ our wedding at Viansa Sonoma. Joe was extremely professional and very easy to work with - he was interested in making sure we got the experience we wanted vs. selling us on a package. We were paired with DJ Alex, who was incredible. He nailed the music selection based on the preferences we expressed, happily made several special accommodations for us, and was on top of everything and professional on the day of. Music is very important to both of us, and the music at our wedding was A+. In addition, his joyful and caring demeanor made us feel supported. We have even gotten requests from our guests to send them the playlist that DJ Alex made for our reception. Highly recommend AMS!

AMS turned out to be such a great choice for our wedding day! From the first time I reached out, Joe was super responsive and friendly. We wanted a DJ for the reception but live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and AMS was able to help us with both! It was so nice that AMS was a one-stop-shop for both, because on the wedding day it was important that the DJ and the live artists were able to communicate with each other for a seamless handoff. The planning process with AMS was sooo easy and they have a great online portal where you can enter all your song requests. Our DJ, Alex, was seriously the BEST! We were connected with him several weeks before our wedding and got to know him a bit over the phone before the big day. We felt so at east even after our first conversation with Alex. He was so awesome and really made us feel like he understood our vision for our wedding. He also gave us a few suggestions/pointers that made a huge difference at the wedding. When we got to meet Alex in person, we immediately felt like we had known him for years. He was so excited for us which really set the tone for us before we entered the party. Alex made the entire night run completely seamlessly and kept the dance floor packed the whole time. By the end of the evening, no one wanted to get off the dance floor so we begged the venue to allow Alex to play one last song! AMS was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. Both Alex and Joe were amazing to work with. And the benefit of having our wedding in Santa Rosa was that they were both familiar with the rest of our wedding team (venue, coordinator, planner, etc.). Skip, our DJ through AMS was great! He explained the timeline, met with us via zoom prior to the wedding and made sure all of our requests were met and concerns were addressed. He was very personable and attentive during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We asked him to increase the volume during dinner slightly and he did with no problem. To say that Alex was perfect would be an understatement! From our phone call to the last song at our wedding, Alex had us and our wants in the forefront of his mind. He successfully executed the perfect party playlist based off our suggestions, and vibes from the crowd.
