She even stepped in to help with a potential food stain emergency during the reception. She was well prepared and organized through the whole process. She was willing to travel to a hotel for getting ready photos, then to a park before going to the venue for outdoor photos, she was with us for 8 hours on our wedding day. She captured all of the important moments like getting ready, the ceremony, the cake, et cetera, as well as all of the moments in between. There were times we didn't even know she was there because she captured things organically. She also was helpful with posing for portraits when we weren't quite sure what to do. She was a delight to work with!

She was great at communicating with us through the entire process, including initial questions, payment reminders, schedule creation, travel parameters (the wedding was on a Sunday in Buffalo, NY), and day of updates. We got to meet up in person with Amy when we were in town, and she alleviated any of the stress and questions we had throughout the wedding planning process. When our wedding day arrived, Amy demonstrated her amazing ability to navigate location changes and make the most of different indoor and outdoor spaces. Our April wedding arrived with some rain, and she helped us adapt with clear umbrellas on hand and checking in with how much outdoor time/locations we felt comfortable with. Despite our ceremony having to move inside, Amy made us feel at ease, never rushing us and still keeping us on schedule. Throughout the whole day she would keep checking in to ensure we got any additional shots we wanted, including some post dinner shots that are some of our favorites! And last, but certainly not least, the photos themselves. The quality of the photos was amazing, and there was plenty of variety in them. We loved the photos of us, but also really enjoyed that she took pictures of all of our guests as well. If you’re looking for a talented photographer with tons of experience, and who will put you at ease during a stressful time, Amy is the one to choose. We can't wait to book her again for future life milestones!

When my husband and I made the decision to throw a small backyard wedding just three weeks later, I figured it would be impossible that she would happen to be available, but by some miracle she was! Not only was she available, but as the first vendor we booked, she provided invaluable insight and recommendations that really helped make planning our wedding in just three weeks possible! On the actual day, she was an absolute professional, working with a tight schedule and repeatedly adapting in an unusual and small space. She collaborated so well with our other vendors. Most importantly, she was kind, thoughtful, and surrounded us with positive energy. I was in the middle of a course of chemotherapy and she really went above and beyond to ensure that she wasn't over extending me. There was one group photo that I started to talk myself out of taking and I so appreciate her encouragement for us to take it because it is by far my favorite picture of the day!! Now, our pictures: 1000 stars, they are beyond perfect. My husband and I are NOT photogenic people, but seriously we look like hollywood celebrities in these photos. I have truly never felt so beautiful in my life. I remember not understanding some of the spots she had us stop to take pictures and when you see the final product, it's because she has an artists eye for perfect lighting. In addition to the posed pictures, we have the most wonderful collection of candids of all our wedding guests. Amy authentically captured the essence of warmth and love that pervaded our day. I will treasure these pictures forever. Amy, I cannot thank you enough for everything!!!

Also, since we wanted to capture as many moments as possible during our ceremony and reception, Amy recommended adding a second photographer colleague of hers during those hours. e else. Amy is truly a one of a kind photographer. Up front, she is kind, professional, accessible, and a calming force during the stress leading up to a big day like a wedding. On the day of the event, she remains completely invisible until it's time to do family and bridal party photos. Overall, she is an experienced photographer and a lovely, pleasant person. For our wedding morning, she brought an equally amazing second shooter with her who covered the groom and groomsmen in their suite while she covered the bride and bridesmaids. The duo assisted with the overall event timing and coordination while capturing some incredible photos throughout process. After the reception had been running for a few hours, prior to her prearranged departure from the event, Amy came to us to shoot some special golden hour shots in the garden where we'd been married that afternoon. Those photos look like they were taken straight out of a fairy tale. We simply could not have asked for more. People are shocked by how bright they are, as well as how beautifully she captures emotion and movement. We knew that one of our top priorities in planning our wedding was investing in an incredible photographer, and we would absolutely make the same choice if we could go back in time and do it all over again. It was also really important to us that our photographer be explicitly inclusive. We’re a lesbian couple, and I’m non-binary, so we didn’t want to feel uncomfortable with our photographer on our wedding day and have that discomfort translate into the photos as well. Amy always made us feel respected and like she genuinely cared about us as people. Her social media demonstrates clearly that she works with a wide variety of people representing a wide variety of identities, and she is someone who will celebrate you just as you are. Amy is also very professional, clear, and timely in her communications. Even with the unforeseen circumstance of her having a baby about a week and a half before our wedding, she always kept us in the loop and had researched backup plans A-Z to make sure that we’d be covered no matter what. We trusted her so much that we didn’t worry about it at all, which is an invaluable thing when you’re a week out from the wedding and worrying about EVERYTHING. There is no better photographer than Amy for all your life milestones. We’ll certainly never use another!
