Amy was absolutely fantastic. She offered to do an engagement shoot for us and got some incredible pictures (with our pupper too). When it came to the wedding, she made everything ...
seem so easy and calm. The pre-wedding pictures were fun and Amy fit right in with our wedding party. Everyone in my family loved Amy and the photographer she partnered with for the day.
After the wedding, Amy realized that there were not enough romantics of my husband and I. She arranged a separate shoot to go back out. We got some amazing shots that people thought were done on a blue screen! Amy even laid on the ground, IN THE RAIN, to get the perfect shot of my husband and I. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Amy was for making our day that much more special!
ACP took *very* good care of my loved ones during my wedding. That's saying a lot, considering I am a photographer that has experience shooting weddings. I thought I'd have everyth...
ing covered but I was sadly mistaken.
They were the ultimate professionals and exceeded my expectations. They were a pleasure to work with and took control when I had a few pops too many and when my children wanted to do anything but take photos. While I won't be hiring ACP for another wedding (duh, lol), I have no problem referring and recommending great work to anyone that will listen.
All in all, hire Amy Claeys Photography for your next wedding/event/photo shoot. Disappointment isn't an option...

ay, for my husband and I, Amy was a true blessing. She was prompt, organized, professional and extremely caring. She took the time to see our vision through her lens and capture our special moments. Amy was very focused on the details, from the largest ones to the smallest details. She helped make our day more amazing and something to look back on and smile. Her talent and photographs will give us wonderful memories to cherish and share for a lifetime.
We highly recommend Amy Claeys Photography for any of the special events in your life.

break a photography session. I recommend Amy for your next event!!!
Thrilled with our Wedding photography by Amy for the following reasons:
- She had ideas for photos that I never would have thought of.
- She hired another photographer to go to our...
venue while she was shooting our wedding. I wanted to see what the venue looks like all decorated before the guests got there.
- She was able to Photoshop a few pictures to make them perfect. For example there was a great picture of my husband and his son from his first marriage walking down the sidewalk but my husband had a very twisted pant leg. Amy somehow photo shopped another pant leg and paste it over it and we could absolutely not tell that there was even an issue with the original pic.
- Amy help me put together a very last-minute first anniversary surprise for my husband. She took a picture of her first dance and somehow overlaid the lyrics to our song. It made a great gift!
- During the first dance she got out on the dance floor as well and took pictures of many couples. These pictures made excellent gift to these couples the following Christmas.
I hired Amy for my engagement photos, and they turned out AMAZING. She made us feel so comfortable, and she took us to all of our favorite spots around Detroit. She is also an abso...
lute pro when it comes to getting shots downtown, Belle Isle, skyline shots, and artsy shots downtown. I currently live out of state, and she was even willing to fly to me for these photos. My fiancé and I are not really big into showing public displays of affection. Amy was able to capture sweet moments between the two of us that I was excited to share with friends and family. I love her work so much that I even hired her for my wedding this October. If you’re looking for someone with A LOT of experience in wedding photography, and someone who is excited about very project she takes on, Amy is the one for you! Thank you so much!!
