Hello there! Congrats on your engagement! I know this is all pretty overwhelming, I mean, it’s not like you’ve chosen a wedding photographer before, right? I shoot 99.9% of your wedding day with professional digital equipment. I use lots of flash to make sure your photos turn out perfectly every time, and I know lots of tricks to help you both relax so that we get the REAL you, and capture the JOY of your day in every picture. My goal at Amy Claeys Photography is to make the whole process easier, not harder. I’m proud to say that I also shoot some film at each wedding as well. The final product is a 16x20 fine art print that you will cherish for a lifetime. seem so easy and calm. The pre-wedding pictures were fun and Amy fit right in with our wedding party. Everyone in my family loved Amy and the photographer she partnered with for the day.
After the wedding, Amy realized that there were not enough romantics of my husband and I. She arranged a separate shoot to go back out. We got some amazing shots that people thought were done on a blue screen! Amy even laid on the ground, IN THE RAIN, to get the perfect shot of my husband and I. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Amy was for making our day that much more special!

They were the ultimate professionals and exceeded my expectations. They were a pleasure to work with and took control when I had a few pops too many and when my children wanted to do anything but take photos. venue while she was shooting our wedding. I wanted to see what the venue looks like all decorated before the guests got there.
- She was able to Photoshop a few pictures to make them perfect. For example there was a great picture of my husband and his son from his first marriage walking down the sidewalk but my husband had a very twisted pant leg. Amy somehow photo shopped another pant leg and paste it over it and we could absolutely not tell that there was even an issue with the original pic.
- Amy help me put together a very last-minute first anniversary surprise for my husband. She took a picture of her first dance and somehow overlaid the lyrics to our song. It made a great gift!
- During the first dance she got out on the dance floor as well and took pictures of many couples. These pictures made excellent gift to these couples the following Christmas.
