We had such an excellent experience with Amy Galon Photography. They were very professional and paid great attention to detail. The photos they captured were absolutely beautiful. As the mother of the groom I felt included and once in a life time memories were photographed for me to relive forever.

Amy and Shelby were the best investment we made on our wedding day. Not only were the photos amazing and timeless but they were so easy to work with and fun! Her experience with weddings was indispensable in planning and our day was perfect. I love reliving our memories every time I open the gallery. Amy has been our photographer for the past five years, starting with our wedding. She has since done two newborn sessions and yearly family photos. Quality of service - Amy and her team were professional while also keeping the mood light even with the importance of the event. It was very easy going and laid back. Amy was fantastic. She helped in so many ways. Her input on color coordination, engagement pictures location, day of photographs and so much more made the wedding go smoothly and look fabulous.

I fell in love with Amy’s photography skills before hiring her. As someone who has dabbled in photography I can tell what makes a mediocre picture versus a great picture and knew from the start that Amy’s pictures of my wedding would maintain their classic and classy appearance long after the wedding day (instead of feeling dated with fades like some). What I didn’t realize I’d get out of the experience was someone who served much of the role of a day of coordinator (don’t hire someone to coordinate timing of the day if you use Amy - she covers it all!). Amy also helped to navigate difficult personalities in my wedding party so that I could enjoy my day with her as the buffer, and she and her assistant helped to make my photographs special by helping us to do a funny one with a photoshopped t-Rex chasing us. I couldn’t imagine using any other photographer for my wedding and I look forward to having Amy capture all of our future life milestones.

This review will not do justice to the amount of gratitude I have for Amy. Amy was the first vendor I booked for our wedding. I booked Amy before we even had our venue 100% secured because it was super important to me that Amy be our photographer. I had followed Amy's work for a long time and was also stunned by new photos of hers that I had seen. It's "trendy" right now to have light, airy (almost pink?) photos and while I have nothing against anyone who wants those kinds of photos, I knew I wanted a photographer who could and would capture the real colors in our day. I also wanted a photographer who could capture the emotions that I knew we would be feeling. Due to COVID, we ended up working with Amy for almost three years (lol!). Amy shot our first private ceremony during the pandemic and then our large wedding in May 2022 and we couldn't be more grateful. Amy is a true professional. She is an artist and her work truly speaks for itself. You can feel immediately transported back to the most beautiful day of your life if you have a photographer that knows their craft. Amy knows what she's doing. Our wedding album is a dream. I actually gasped out loud when we first received our gallery. I'm not even being dramatic. I had an overwhelming reaction when we finally got to see the beauty of Amy's work. Our photos captured all the little things and the big things that made our day beautiful and each one is a gift to us for years to come. Not only is Amy's work amazing, but her professionalism will keep you calm and grounded throughout your wedding day. It was really important for me to surround myself and my family with vendors who were grounded and calm. Amy provided me with calmness throughout a pretty stressful process and made it look easy to capture both the intimate and not-so-intimate moments of our day. Your wedding photos will be viewed for generations to come and will be family heirlooms to your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Make sure you hire someone you trust enough with that responsibility. Amy was that person for us and she should be for you too! We will be forever grateful.

Thank you Amy and Shelby for my 2.0 wedding pictures of my dreams! This review is early but since they did my wedding last year it is long overdue. Amy is always a phone call, email away to answer all questions. Whenever I wanted to panic about the day of, she was ready to help calm me down and offer the best advice on where to take photos. She went above and beyond to make sure to capture the most perfect moments on both of my wedding days thanks to covid. I highly recommend her and her team (Shelby yay)! We had a longer engagement (just over 2 years), and Amy consistently helped us with whatever we needed in the midst of all the planning. She was able to bring out our true love for one another during our engagement pictures, and most importantly, during our actual wedding day. As the bride, Amy made me feel so incredibly comfortable on our wedding day, and her wedding day timeline ensured that things went off without a hitch. If more stars were possible I’d give them!! Amy was actually the first thing I picked out when wedding planning. I fell in love with her photography immediately. It was only after actual interaction with her that I learned having Amy for my day was a NEED not a want lol. For real though, from our initial phone call, she helped talk through tentative day of timeline ideas, gave me advice, recommend vendors (which I did use and were absolutely wonderful), and made me feel like I was in the very best hands. Her experience, attention to detail, and passion for what she does just shines through. Our engagement shoot with her was a blast. Amy just makes you feel so comfortable, laughs with you, gives great direction, and comes out with stunning photographs. She’s a text away always, so responsive and helpful, and became honestly such a friend to me in the whole process. Amy had a tragic personal loss the night before my wedding. And even after me telling her I totally understood and trusted her 100% to send someone else or leave early if she needed to, Amy told me she wouldn’t miss my day for the world, showed up with a smile on her face, and celebrated me and my husband all day in a way that gave me chills and just only furthered my love and respect for her and a person, vendor, and now friend. We had a huge, loud bridal party that is great at to having fun, not so great at listening to directions lol. Amy had control of the whole day. I can very confidently say that a less experienced photographer wouldn’t have been able to control a group like that and produce the pictures she was able to. When my wedding venue’s coordinator made some questionable decisions that upset me, Amy went to bat for me. She was honestly the glue that held everything that day together. And when I got my wedding picture previews (about 50 pics fully edited only 2 weeks after the wedding—incredible right), I had numerous people claim they were the most beautiful wedding pictures they’d ever seen. Amy is more that just an investment in photography, she’s an investment in your whole wedding planning experience, an investment in your once in a lifetime day, and an investment in preserving your memories for all the years to come. I can’t stress this enough—Amy is simply amazing and the best decision you’ll make for your wedding.

Amy Galon and her team did a phenomenal job!! They photographed our wedding in April and were extremely professional, kind, and talented - the photos looked like they came from a bridal magazine, they were truly that incredible. You will pay more money to hire Amy, but it is 110% worth it to have the most beautiful photographs you could ever imagine for your wedding.

I worked with Shelby for both engagement photos and wedding day and she did an AMAZING job. I was immediately drawn to AGP after talking with Amy on the phone and hearing how professional and organized the team is. I felt they would be like a built in wedding planner or certainly day-of event planner. I was not wrong! Shelby helped me lay out the whole day to give me plenty of time to enjoy and not stress about pictures. The team kept the energy for the bridal party and kept things light-hearted and fun throughout the day. I also got repeatedly told by wedding guests how the photographers were so discrete--it didn't feel like they were constantly in the way or detracting from big moments, yet they still captured everything. Most importantly, the work they produced was SO GOOD! My husband and I are in love with the wedding pictures and are so happy we trusted AGP with our wedding photography needs. Amy was an amazing photographer. Not only her but her amazing team. They went above in beyond helping with any questions about decorating, flowers, recommendations of other venders and RESCHEDULING DUE TO COVID. She also fit in so great with the many personalities of our entire bridal party.

I hired AGP for the absolutely stunning photos in their numerous galleries on their website & instagram. I knew it would be perfect once I spoke to Amy & Shelby on the phone - I could tell they had all the wedding knowledge and planning skills to help plan my perfect day. Before COVID even started we ran into the craziest of problems (unrelated to Amy/Shelby). The day of the engagement photos, the metroparks were completely closed down, but there we were all standing there. They were SOOO helpful with figuring out a plan B since they knew I needed Save the Date photos ASAP; they offered to take enough shots for the save the date at a separate location AND book an additional day for a full session to make sure I got what I wanted. Then there was COVID. They continued to be helpful and supportive through the whole process with AMAZING photos afterwards. It only took a month to get ALL my pictures back, fully edited. I have seen / heard people having to wait 10 weeks for their wedding photos and it only took 4 for mine! I was so happy. All in all, Shelby, Amy & Glenda (2nd photographer for wedding day) were all so wonderful and they produced great products. 10/10 would recommend.

Without a doubt having Amy as our photographer was the best decision we made. Not only is her bold and dramatic style perfection but she is so fun to work with. She throws out unique ideas and is open to any ideas we had. She will do whatever it takes to get a perfect shot.. even if that means popping a bottle of champagne while aiming directly at her. My husband and I got married last month at the Arcade. From looking through Amy's pictures on her website and from our initial meetings with her, we knew she was a great fit for us. You can tell how passionate Amy is about creating the best possible experience for her clients. She is very intentional and assertive which is extremely necessary in her field!! It's easy to get behind schedule at weddings, but she 100% kept everything on time and moving. She is extremely organized and works with you to put together an itinerary for the day of. It helped us tremendously and allowed us to prepare our wedding party for where they needed to be at certain points throughout the day. She captured absolutely EVERYTHING. I really don't think she ever took a break. We cannot say enough good things about Amy and her business!! We look at our album (which she got back to us VERY quickly) on a daily basis, and we will cherish these pictures forever. Amy, we have so much love for you and your stunning work. Amy was AMAZING. She went with every punch we threw at her (unintentionally, of course) even a WAY last minute change up in the ladies getting ready venue. It was beginning of March but we took all our bridal party pictures outdoors, the cold did not deter Amy at all from getting those shots of me, my husband and our crazy bridal party. She was a rockstar behind the camera and the end results were beyond my already high expectations. She captured our day beautifully.

Amy is the absolute best. My husband and I used her for our engagement photos which were absolutely amazing, a year before our wedding. We just got married on Saturday, October 13, 2018 she shared one photo with me so far and I am at the edge of my seat. I just can not wait to see the rest of the pictures she took. From the beginning of the day, all the way until the end of my reception, Amy was there capturing every single moment of my special day. The entire year in between sessions from engagement to wedding her and I kept in contact, she updated me with the things that I needed to do, she kept in touch with me on timelines, where to get things and how to get them there. She’s not only a photographer but basically a mini wedding planner!! I would’ve had no idea what to do if it wasn’t for her timing everything perfectly for me. I’ve dreamt about getting married since I was a little girl and after the wedding is over all you have are the memories and the photos. If you want the most magical brought to life photography, then Amy Galon your girl. Getting your picture taken (especially for my husband) isn’t always the most comfortable thing to do, especially if you want to capture certain poses or faces or re-create things, it can get really awkward. Amy makes you feel So comfortable, Like it’s effortless. She knows when you need to be serious, and she definitely knows how to make you laugh. I remember sitting on the knot For hours when I first Started planning my wedding and The second I saw Amy’s work and all Of the weddings she’s captured and how Gorgeous and stunning the brides looked I was blown away instantly I knew she is the one, she’s the one that’s going to be there for me on the day I say I do I know it I have to have her! it looks like she should have her brides on billboards across the world!!!!! There truly are so many wonderful things I could say about Amy but I guess the one thing that I definitely feel like she deserves to hear and read is that she is beyond talented at what she does and blessed with the gift of photography.

Not only are they super friendly and down to earth, but their work is entirely flawless! My husband and I met first with Amy, and she showed us her information packet complete with a day of timeline and tips/tricks. We walked out after seeing the samples/information, and I knew we HAD to go with AG Photography. I am so glad that we did! Claire was the lead on our engagement and wedding photos, and she was AWESOME! My husband really hates getting his photo taken, but Claire made it so fun/easy/comfortable! I loved every single photo from our engagement shoot, and the location that Claire recommended was perfect! She had our pictures back so quickly, and we were able to use them for save the dates. During the preparation for our big day, Claire was always beyond helpful/fun to work with! We collaborated on a Pinterest board, chatted on the phone, and she even helped me figure out some details for what accessories I would wear the day of the wedding! Not only was she amazing during the planning, but also on the day of the wedding! She came early and left late to make sure she got every single picture that I could possibly want. One of my favorite moments from the day was during a photo taken with less than an hour left in our reception - YES CLAIRE WAS STILL THERE. I love this picture, because my husband and I had the chance to step away from the craziness for a few minutes together at the end of the night, and she captured it perfectly. Claire was the one who came to me and said she saw an awesome spot for this last picture. I'm so glad she did - not every photographer would be that dedicated, and that is what makes all the difference. Her work is perfection, seriously. I am so happy that we had Claire there to capture our big day. She caught every laugh/smile/detail, and now we have the most beautiful photos to look back on and cherish forever. I recently told Claire that I'm struggling to decide which to print, because I'm obsessed with every photo she took on our wedding day! Now, Claire is helping me design our wedding album and I know that it will be absolutely perfect. This was the best experience! I'm so happy that we decided to go with Amy Galon Photography. My wedding was July 22 & Claire was amazing! Not only did she take beautiful pictures, but she also helped make our day perfect! She helped us figure out the timeline for our wedding... she helped me when I became overwhelmed on my wedding day... she even fixed a button that popped off my dress!! Amy is a gem - I cannot say enough about her. We found her through a friend who used Amy for her wedding and also found that she was one of the few photographers who actually gave us the rights to our own photographs. So we gave her a try with engagement photos. She made my husband and I feel super comfortable the entire shoot even though neither of us love pictures. They came out amazing and I couldn't wait for the wedding to see the memories she would capture there. Fast forward to the wedding and Amy kept me calm (even when our videographer vanished and couldn't be found right before we were supposed to do our first look), she handled emergencies (she tracked down the videographer and saved the wedding), she made sure I had everything I needed, and she took AMAZING photos. I lucked out with some great vendors for my wedding, but Amy was by far my favorite. You won't be disappointed!

Amy Galon Photography was great to work with!! Wedding day she and her assistant played a big part in the flow of the day. When we were running a little behind she had contacted the DJ to let the hall know, so everything was adjusted to run smoothly for the evening! There were plenty of things I was worried about the day of, but my pictures weren’t one of them. Amy’s photography is everything I could have dreamed of and more! I decided last minute to get wedding photos shot and Amy stepped up to the plate with no hesitation! We took photos in Downtown Willoughby and while I was hesitant that they would feel like prom photos, they were anything but! Amy did it right ! My husband and I were so nervous, venturing into something neither of us knew anything about. She walked us through the timeline and was exceptionally detailed. We felt put at ease from our first meeting! She brought up ideas that we hadn’t thought of and our engagement session was our first real taste of it!! She asked us about someplace that was special to us and made it happen! The wedding ended up being flawless. My mother in law was impressed, which is not easy to do. Working with Amy and Claire was completely seamless and stress-free. They made everything leading up to the big day so easy! We had a timeline and packet of reminders and things to think about with our photography that was given to us from the get go. They suggested we make a list of important photos we wanted before the big day so we wouldn't be scrambling the day of. We did just that and it worked out perfectly- they even did a consult with us the week before to make sure everything was in line and to finalize our timeline. The preparation and planning was top-notch!! Of all the stresses a bride and groom can have leading up to their wedding, we can say photography was definitely not one of them. I can't even explain how much weight that took off of our shoulders! Claire was extremely accessible from day one, from engagement pictures all the way through the wedding day. She replied right away or made sure I had answers to any questions quickly. She had it under control the whole time on our big day, keeping us on track and getting any additional poses we wanted (including capturing amazing pictures of us with our fur baby puppy, who has no attention span and was not easy to wrangle in one spot). Everyone asks who took our photos and we couldn't be happier with them!! They are so artistic, unique and just plain beautiful. I tear up even now looking at them. My sister said it best, "Amy is not a photographer, she's an artist." We got our wedding pictures back this weekend and I cannot tell you how many compliments we've received already. People we don't even really know around the office somehow managed to get a sneak peek have approached us with nothing but nice things to say. Beyond her obvious talents, Amy and her team are dedicated professionals and wealth of knowledge for first-time brides venturing into the unknown. Amy will answer any question you have and she's very organized which will help to keep you on track on your wedding planning journey up until the day of your event. If I have any advise to the brides-to-be considering Amy it would be the following: 1. Book your consultation early! Amy's calendar is full and she is selective and mindful of her own work/life balance. 2. Do the engagement session. It's worth it to get a sense of what it will feel like to have your wedding photos taken as well as how you can work best with Amy. We received many compliments on these photos as well and were able to use them for our save the dates. 3. If you're not sure, just ask! I remember being intimidated about everything from price, timeline etc. Amy will work with you to make sure you're day goes off without a hitch.

I have always been a picture person, and knew that finding a perfect photographer was my number one priority. Words cannot describe how amazing Amy and her team was. For our wedding we had miserable weather, 40 degrees, constant rain and very windy. We shot tons of photos regardless of the weather. Amy and her team trudged through inches of rain and mud to get great photos. She even had suggestions of nighttime rain photos that look awesome!! also during one of our trips outside (We did them in sessions during the day because of how cold and rainy) my husband's umbrella flipped inside out and tore to pieces and Amy shot some great photos of him and I hysterically laughing. I am so happy with everything that Amy has done for us. she helped us from the very beginning because we had no idea where to start in planning our big day.
