It's easy to get behind schedule at weddings, but she 100% kept everything on time and moving. She is extremely organized and works with you to put together an itinerary for the day of. I really don't think she ever took a break. We cannot say enough good things about Amy and her business!! From the beginning of the day, all the way until the end of my reception, Amy was there capturing every single moment of my special day. The entire year in between sessions from engagement to wedding her and I kept in contact, she updated me with the things that I needed to do, she kept in touch with me on timelines, where to get things and how to get them there. She’s not only a photographer but basically a mini wedding planner!! I would’ve had no idea what to do if it wasn’t for her timing everything perfectly for me. I’ve dreamt about getting married since I was a little girl and after the wedding is over all you have are the memories and the photos. If you want the most magical brought to life photography, then Amy Galon your girl. Getting your picture taken (especially for my husband) isn’t always the most comfortable thing to do, especially if you want to capture certain poses or faces or re-create things, it can get really awkward. Amy makes you feel So comfortable, Like it’s effortless. She knows when you need to be serious, and she definitely knows how to make you laugh. I remember sitting on the knot For hours when I first Started planning my wedding and The second I saw Amy’s work and all Of the weddings she’s captured and how Gorgeous and stunning the brides looked I was blown away instantly I knew she is the one, she’s the one that’s going to be there for me on the day I say I do I know it I have to have her! it looks like she should have her brides on billboards across the world!!!!! There truly are so many wonderful things I could say about Amy but I guess the one thing that I definitely feel like she deserves to hear and read is that she is beyond talented at what she does and blessed with the gift of photography.

I am so glad that we did! Claire was the lead on our engagement and wedding photos, and she was AWESOME! My husband really hates getting his photo taken, but Claire made it so fun/easy/comfortable! I loved every single photo from our engagement shoot, and the location that Claire recommended was perfect! She had our pictures back so quickly, and we were able to use them for save the dates. During the preparation for our big day, Claire was always beyond helpful/fun to work with! We collaborated on a Pinterest board, chatted on the phone, and she even helped me figure out some details for what accessories I would wear the day of the wedding! Not only was she amazing during the planning, but also on the day of the wedding! She came early and left late to make sure she got every single picture that I could possibly want. One of my favorite moments from the day was during a photo taken with less than an hour left in our reception - YES CLAIRE WAS STILL THERE. I love this picture, because my husband and I had the chance to step away from the craziness for a few minutes together at the end of the night, and she captured it perfectly. Claire was the one who came to me and said she saw an awesome spot for this last picture. I'm so glad she did - not every photographer would be that dedicated, and that is what makes all the difference. Her work is perfection, seriously. I am so happy that we had Claire there to capture our big day. She caught every laugh/smile/detail, and now we have the most beautiful photos to look back on and cherish forever. I recently told Claire that I'm struggling to decide which to print, because I'm obsessed with every photo she took on our wedding day! Now, Claire is helping me design our wedding album and I know that it will be absolutely perfect. This was the best experience! I'm so happy that we decided to go with Amy Galon Photography. They came out amazing and I couldn't wait for the wedding to see the memories she would capture there. Fast forward to the wedding and Amy kept me calm (even when our videographer vanished and couldn't be found right before we were supposed to do our first look), she handled emergencies (she tracked down the videographer and saved the wedding), she made sure I had everything I needed, and she took AMAZING photos. She tried to push us past our comfort zone to get shots we would never normally think to do, and they came out great. From an early morning sunrise shoot, to late night phone calls, she was always available when I needed her. I felt her prices are a bit more than others in the area, but her quality is worth it, don't regret my decision of choosing her. If you decide to go with a package that includes an album, make sure you budget some extra money. Because even though the album is "included," We had to pay nearly $300 extra for extra pages. My only other recommendation would be to make a detailed "must get" list and make sure she she sticks to it. There were a few off my list that were missed, and a few that I thought were common sense (flower girls/ring bearer coming down isle) that were also missed.
