They gave amazing direction (which we needed) and had so many creative photo ideas that made everything feel natural and effortless instead of awkward like we were expecting it to feel. It honestly felt like having two incredibly talented friends guiding us through the day.  The photos are absolutely stunning. I’ve had so many people say to me they look like they belong in a magazine!  Amy and Shelby are organized, creative, patient, and an absolute joy to work with. Amy and her team were very easy to communicate with, and she gave helpful outlines for day-of scheduling and vision in our initial Zoom call with her and subsequent planning meetings, which was great because we had no prior experience planning weddings. Especially since our wedding was a very large 200+ person South Asian wedding with my husband and I getting ready at different locations and then meeting at an even further away venue, we were worried everything would work out logistically, but Amy and her team were able to accommodate the scale of our wedding and help the actual wedding day proceed without a hitch. As far as the actual photos go, they were brilliant and gorgeous and breath-taking, and we are so happy we have such beautiful records of our special day that we can cherish for the rest of our lives.

rom the start that Amy’s pictures of my wedding would maintain their classic and classy appearance long after the wedding day (instead of feeling dated with fades like some). What I didn’t realize I’d get out of the experience was someone who served much of the role of a day of coordinator (don’t hire someone to coordinate timing of the day if you use Amy - she covers it all!). Amy also helped to navigate difficult personalities in my wedding party so that I could enjoy my day with her as the buffer, and she and her assistant helped to make my photographs special by helping us to do a funny one with a photoshopped t-Rex chasing us. I couldn’t imagine using any other photographer for my wedding and I look forward to having Amy capture all of our future life milestones.

because it was super important to me that Amy be our photographer. I had followed Amy's work for a long time and was also stunned by new photos of hers that I had seen. It's "trendy" right now to have light, airy (almost pink?) photos and while I have nothing against anyone who wants those kinds of photos, I knew I wanted a photographer who could and would capture the real colors in our day. I also wanted a photographer who could capture the emotions that I knew we would be feeling. Due to COVID, we ended up working with Amy for almost three years (lol!). Amy shot our first private ceremony during the pandemic and then our large wedding in May 2022 and we couldn't be more grateful. Amy is a true professional. She is an artist and her work truly speaks for itself. You can feel immediately transported back to the most beautiful day of your life if you have a photographer that knows their craft. Amy knows what she's doing. Our wedding album is a dream. I actually gasped out loud when we first received our gallery. I'm not even being dramatic. I had an overwhelming reaction when we finally got to see the beauty of Amy's work. Our photos captured all the little things and the big things that made our day beautiful and each one is a gift to us for years to come. Not only is Amy's work amazing, but her professionalism will keep you calm and grounded throughout your wedding day. It was really important for me to surround myself and my family with vendors who were grounded and calm. Amy provided me with calmness throughout a pretty stressful process and made it look easy to capture both the intimate and not-so-intimate moments of our day. Your wedding photos will be viewed for generations to come and will be family heirlooms to your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Make sure you hire someone you trust enough with that responsibility. Amy was that person for us and she should be for you too! We will be forever grateful.

It was the exact vision we were looking for: bold, bright colors but still timeless and classic. I would also highly recommend choosing a package with the engagement photo shoot, which was a great way to get to know the photographer and work out any of the awkwardness of being photographed. Amy just makes you feel so comfortable, laughs with you, gives great direction, and comes out with stunning photographs. She’s a text away always, so responsive and helpful, and became honestly such a friend to me in the whole process. Amy had a tragic personal loss the night before my wedding. And even after me telling her I totally understood and trusted her 100% to send someone else or leave early if she needed to, Amy told me she wouldn’t miss my day for the world, showed up with a smile on her face, and celebrated me and my husband all day in a way that gave me chills and just only furthered my love and respect for her and a person, vendor, and now friend. We had a huge, loud bridal party that is great at to having fun, not so great at listening to directions lol. Amy had control of the whole day. I can very confidently say that a less experienced photographer wouldn’t have been able to control a group like that and produce the pictures she was able to. When my wedding venue’s coordinator made some questionable decisions that upset me, Amy went to bat for me. She was honestly the glue that held everything that day together. And when I got my wedding picture previews (about 50 pics fully edited only 2 weeks after the wedding—incredible right), I had numerous people claim they were the most beautiful wedding pictures they’d ever seen. Amy is more that just an investment in photography, she’s an investment in your whole wedding planning experience, an investment in your once in a lifetime day, and an investment in preserving your memories for all the years to come. I can’t stress this enough—Amy is simply amazing and the best decision you’ll make for your wedding.

Shelby helped me lay out the whole day to give me plenty of time to enjoy and not stress about pictures. The team kept the energy for the bridal party and kept things light-hearted and fun throughout the day. I also got repeatedly told by wedding guests how the photographers were so discrete--it didn't feel like they were constantly in the way or detracting from big moments, yet they still captured everything. Most importantly, the work they produced was SO GOOD! My husband and I are in love with the wedding pictures and are so happy we trusted AGP with our wedding photography needs.
