I would highly recommend Amy. She was so helpful, organized, and communicative throughout the entire process. We were married a week and a half ago. She sent us a couple of our first look pictures the day after our wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to see the rest:)

My husband is an amateur photographer and discovered Amy's work after many hours sifting through multiple photographers' websites. Her team's artistry and technique in each photograph are on another level compared to the work of other vendors. Amy and her team were very easy to communicate with, and she gave helpful outlines for day-of scheduling and vision in our initial Zoom call with her and subsequent planning meetings, which was great because we had no prior experience planning weddings. Especially since our wedding was a very large 200+ person South Asian wedding with my husband and I getting ready at different locations and then meeting at an even further away venue, we were worried everything would work out logistically, but Amy and her team were able to accommodate the scale of our wedding and help the actual wedding day proceed without a hitch. As far as the actual photos go, they were brilliant and gorgeous and breath-taking, and we are so happy we have such beautiful records of our special day that we can cherish for the rest of our lives.

Amy was fantastic. She helped in so many ways. Her input on color coordination, engagement pictures location, day of photographs and so much more made the wedding go smoothly and look fabulous.

I fell in love with Amy’s photography skills before hiring her. As someone who has dabbled in photography I can tell what makes a mediocre picture versus a great picture and knew from the start that Amy’s pictures of my wedding would maintain their classic and classy appearance long after the wedding day (instead of feeling dated with fades like some). What I didn’t realize I’d get out of the experience was someone who served much of the role of a day of coordinator (don’t hire someone to coordinate timing of the day if you use Amy - she covers it all!). Amy also helped to navigate difficult personalities in my wedding party so that I could enjoy my day with her as the buffer, and she and her assistant helped to make my photographs special by helping us to do a funny one with a photoshopped t-Rex chasing us. I couldn’t imagine using any other photographer for my wedding and I look forward to having Amy capture all of our future life milestones.

This review will not do justice to the amount of gratitude I have for Amy. Amy was the first vendor I booked for our wedding. I booked Amy before we even had our venue 100% secured because it was super important to me that Amy be our photographer. I had followed Amy's work for a long time and was also stunned by new photos of hers that I had seen. It's "trendy" right now to have light, airy (almost pink?) photos and while I have nothing against anyone who wants those kinds of photos, I knew I wanted a photographer who could and would capture the real colors in our day. I also wanted a photographer who could capture the emotions that I knew we would be feeling. Due to COVID, we ended up working with Amy for almost three years (lol!). Amy shot our first private ceremony during the pandemic and then our large wedding in May 2022 and we couldn't be more grateful. Amy is a true professional. She is an artist and her work truly speaks for itself. You can feel immediately transported back to the most beautiful day of your life if you have a photographer that knows their craft. Amy knows what she's doing. Our wedding album is a dream. I actually gasped out loud when we first received our gallery. I'm not even being dramatic. I had an overwhelming reaction when we finally got to see the beauty of Amy's work. Our photos captured all the little things and the big things that made our day beautiful and each one is a gift to us for years to come. Not only is Amy's work amazing, but her professionalism will keep you calm and grounded throughout your wedding day. It was really important for me to surround myself and my family with vendors who were grounded and calm. Amy provided me with calmness throughout a pretty stressful process and made it look easy to capture both the intimate and not-so-intimate moments of our day. Your wedding photos will be viewed for generations to come and will be family heirlooms to your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Make sure you hire someone you trust enough with that responsibility. Amy was that person for us and she should be for you too! We will be forever grateful.

Thank you Amy and Shelby for my 2.0 wedding pictures of my dreams! This review is early but since they did my wedding last year it is long overdue. Amy is always a phone call, email away to answer all questions. Whenever I wanted to panic about the day of, she was ready to help calm me down and offer the best advice on where to take photos. She went above and beyond to make sure to capture the most perfect moments on both of my wedding days thanks to covid. I highly recommend her and her team (Shelby yay)! We had a longer engagement (just over 2 years), and Amy consistently helped us with whatever we needed in the midst of all the planning. She was able to bring out our true love for one another during our engagement pictures, and most importantly, during our actual wedding day. As the bride, Amy made me feel so incredibly comfortable on our wedding day, and her wedding day timeline ensured that things went off without a hitch. Our wedding day previews are stunning - many people have told us that they are some of the best wedding photos they've ever seen. If more stars were possible I’d give them!! Amy was actually the first thing I picked out when wedding planning. I fell in love with her photography immediately. It was only after actual interaction with her that I learned having Amy for my day was a NEED not a want lol. For real though, from our initial phone call, she helped talk through tentative day of timeline ideas, gave me advice, recommend vendors (which I did use and were absolutely wonderful), and made me feel like I was in the very best hands. Her experience, attention to detail, and passion for what she does just shines through. Our engagement shoot with her was a blast. Amy just makes you feel so comfortable, laughs with you, gives great direction, and comes out with stunning photographs. She’s a text away always, so responsive and helpful, and became honestly such a friend to me in the whole process. Amy had a tragic personal loss the night before my wedding. And even after me telling her I totally understood and trusted her 100% to send someone else or leave early if she needed to, Amy told me she wouldn’t miss my day for the world, showed up with a smile on her face, and celebrated me and my husband all day in a way that gave me chills and just only furthered my love and respect for her and a person, vendor, and now friend. We had a huge, loud bridal party that is great at to having fun, not so great at listening to directions lol. Amy had control of the whole day. I can very confidently say that a less experienced photographer wouldn’t have been able to control a group like that and produce the pictures she was able to. When my wedding venue’s coordinator made some questionable decisions that upset me, Amy went to bat for me. She was honestly the glue that held everything that day together. And when I got my wedding picture previews (about 50 pics fully edited only 2 weeks after the wedding—incredible right), I had numerous people claim they were the most beautiful wedding pictures they’d ever seen. Amy is more that just an investment in photography, she’s an investment in your whole wedding planning experience, an investment in your once in a lifetime day, and an investment in preserving your memories for all the years to come. I can’t stress this enough—Amy is simply amazing and the best decision you’ll make for your wedding.

Amy Galon and her team did a phenomenal job!! They photographed our wedding in April and were extremely professional, kind, and talented - the photos looked like they came from a bridal magazine, they were truly that incredible. You will pay more money to hire Amy, but it is 110% worth it to have the most beautiful photographs you could ever imagine for your wedding.

I worked with Shelby for both engagement photos and wedding day and she did an AMAZING job. I was immediately drawn to AGP after talking with Amy on the phone and hearing how professional and organized the team is. I felt they would be like a built in wedding planner or certainly day-of event planner. I was not wrong! Shelby helped me lay out the whole day to give me plenty of time to enjoy and not stress about pictures. The team kept the energy for the bridal party and kept things light-hearted and fun throughout the day. I also got repeatedly told by wedding guests how the photographers were so discrete--it didn't feel like they were constantly in the way or detracting from big moments, yet they still captured everything. Most importantly, the work they produced was SO GOOD! My husband and I are in love with the wedding pictures and are so happy we trusted AGP with our wedding photography needs. I hired AGP for the absolutely stunning photos in their numerous galleries on their website & instagram. I knew it would be perfect once I spoke to Amy & Shelby on the phone - I could tell they had all the wedding knowledge and planning skills to help plan my perfect day. Before COVID even started we ran into the craziest of problems (unrelated to Amy/Shelby). The day of the engagement photos, the metroparks were completely closed down, but there we were all standing there. They were SOOO helpful with figuring out a plan B since they knew I needed Save the Date photos ASAP; they offered to take enough shots for the save the date at a separate location AND book an additional day for a full session to make sure I got what I wanted. Then there was COVID. They continued to be helpful and supportive through the whole process with AMAZING photos afterwards. It only took a month to get ALL my pictures back, fully edited. I have seen / heard people having to wait 10 weeks for their wedding photos and it only took 4 for mine! I was so happy. All in all, Shelby, Amy & Glenda (2nd photographer for wedding day) were all so wonderful and they produced great products. 10/10 would recommend.

Without a doubt having Amy as our photographer was the best decision we made. Not only is her bold and dramatic style perfection but she is so fun to work with. My husband and I got married last month at the Arcade. From looking through Amy's pictures on her website and from our initial meetings with her, we knew she was a great fit for us. You can tell how passionate Amy is about creating the best possible experience for her clients. She is very intentional and assertive which is extremely necessary in her field!! It's easy to get behind schedule at weddings, but she 100% kept everything on time and moving. She is extremely organized and works with you to put together an itinerary for the day of. It helped us tremendously and allowed us to prepare our wedding party for where they needed to be at certain points throughout the day. She captured absolutely EVERYTHING. I really don't think she ever took a break. We cannot say enough good things about Amy and her business!! Amy was AMAZING. She went with every punch we threw at her (unintentionally, of course) even a WAY last minute change up in the ladies getting ready venue. It was beginning of March but we took all our bridal party pictures outdoors, the cold did not deter Amy at all from getting those shots of me, my husband and our crazy bridal party. She was a rockstar behind the camera and the end results were beyond my already high expectations. She captured our day beautifully.

Amy is the absolute best. My husband and I used her for our engagement photos which were absolutely amazing, a year before our wedding. We just got married on Saturday, October 13, 2018 she shared one photo with me so far and I am at the edge of my seat. I just can not wait to see the rest of the pictures she took.
