Amy did an amazing job coordinating for our wedding day for myself, the bride, mother of the bride, and 5 bridesmaids. She showed up on time and stayed on schedule to help us actually be ready earlier than expected! One of her make-up artists did need some time to understand what the bridesmaids were looking for. After clarifying, she was able to complete their make up. Amy did my hair and make up and they stayed the whole day and night time, even in 95 degree weather. Thank you!!

I hired Amy as my wedding artist, and it was one of the best decisions I've made for my wedding. Amy is great! She is easy to talk to and accommodated our different makeup requests for the bride, two moms, and bridesmaids. Our ceremony was at noon, so the bridal makeup started at 6 a.m. Amy was very punctual and arrived at the venue at 5:50 a.m. to get everything set up. Her technique in makeup and hairstyling is exceptional. I've used different artists for wedding photo shoot sessions, and Amy's style is by far my favorite. I loved how I looked on my wedding day. I highly recommend Amy to be your wedding artist!

Amy was amazing to work with! She took her time with my trial look and was flexible with changes. I wanted a slightly different hairstyle a month before the wedding, and she created a perfect look the day of. Makeup and hair lasted all day, even with beach wind. Her team was also amazing- my bridesmaids wanted to still look like themselves and they were all happy! Thank you, Amy!!

Amy did my hair and makeup for both my engagement photo shoot and wedding last year. She's an extremely talented makeup artist, very responsive, and a great person to talk to! I wanted a natural look that enhanced my features, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Amy also gave me skincare tips during my trial to ensure my skin was in great condition for my wedding day, and she accommodated me when I had to reschedule my engagement photo shoot because of the rain. I can't recommend her enough!

I found Amy through my local neighborhood mom's group. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and I was super pleased with the results. I had a trial with a different MUA previous to meeting with Amy and ended up going with Amy because I felt like my make up that Amy applied was better suited to me as I am half Asian. The other make up artist was great, but does make up for people like Tori Spelling and Denise Richards so Amy was just a better fit for me. I met with Amy at her place which is not far from my place so that was a big plus. Throughout the whole process Amy was very pleasant and accommodating. I am not a makeup person and never wear lashes or really any make up at all, so it was really fun to see how I can look with all the extras especially on my big day. Everything worked out beautifully and if I had to have my hair and make up done again, I would definitely go to Amy again. This is an easy five star review.

I booked amy for an engagement shoot and absolutely loved how she did my make up and hair! She was very professional and quick with everything.

Amy was so gracious to provide her makeup and hair expertise last minute for our engagement photoshoot that was happening in 2 days. My photographer recommended her to me and I am so glad he did. I got the results I wanted and even more. She knew exactly what to do for Asian hair, skin, eyes, and the results better than I had anticipated and she accomplished it with a shortened timeframe as well (1 hr less). Amazing.

I'm so grateful for Amy's skills as she transformed me into a confident bride on wedding day! As someone who usually doesn't get their makeup and hair done, I was worried makeup might make me look unnatural. Amy worked her magic and enhanced my features, and I love how it turned out in photographs too, both under flash and natural light! I also had a trial session with her where she helped do hair and makeup beforehand, giving me care tips on the months leading to the wedding. I was recommended to Amy and her team by my planner, who had worked with her for many weddings in the past. I was lucky enough to have my hair and makeup trial on the date of my engagement photos. Ariel was my artsier for the engagement photos and the wedding day, and she was so personable and kind. She made sure to ask me for my feedback frequently throughout both the trial and the actual wedding day. When I didn’t know how one makeup style or product would impact the final look, she explained it to me perfectly and provided me with all the tools to choose the makeup look that fit best with my wedding vision. I have naturally very curly hair, and I was worried about working with a hairstylist who didn’t specialize in curly hair. However, yet again, Ariel blew it out of the park! She worked with my curls to help me create a wedding hairstyle that enhanced my natural curls rather than mask them. Two weeks before the wedding, my grandmothers asked if they could get their hair and makeup done as well, and Amy and her team were so accommodating and quick to help fit them in on that busy Saturday afternoon. Ivy was there to help with my mother’s mother-in-law, and bridesmaid’s makeup too, and all of my girls felt so beautiful and confident thanks to her lovely work as well. We all could not have felt better about our makeup and hair ok that day, and that is all thanks to Amy, Ariel, and Ivy!

I’m so glad I found Amy for my hair and makeup on our wedding day. Honestly, finding a makeup artist was the one vendor I was most nervous about because I‘ve never liked how I looked when I had to get my makeup done for friends’ and family members’ weddings. It was always too heavy and I didn’t feel like myself, but not with Amy. As soon as we got done with my trial, I knew I made the right choice. She really listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful for both the trial and wedding day. She knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s extremely responsive and accommodating, and her team of ladies that worked on all my bridesmaids and mothers are so nice and professional. And, BONUS, I literally cried my eyes out for what felt like the whole day, and my makeup still looked amazing by the end of it!

Amy is so incredibly kind, professional, and talented - I was very anxious and stressed about the wedding and had no idea where to even begin with make up/hair services but Amy guided me through every step of the way. She was incredible during the trial session and on the day of, she and her team could not have been more amazing with my look, my mom/mother-in laws looks, and my bridesmaids. Even my highly finnicky mom was super happy with her make up and look! My make up and hair held up for the entire six hour event - through the "Western" first half of our wedding and into the Chinese half. Amy is the best! My wedding start with her perfect make up and hairstyle, made the rest of the wedding so smooth and nice. She gave us the luck! She is so talented and creative, I don’t know I need to get hairpiece prepared, and she immediately thought about use the flower I have, made the hairstyle so special. All my family and friends was surprised by the skill. And I don’t know what style I need, but she just know what is best for me. She is sweet and patient, and mostly so experienced! Amy was simply awesome! Unfortunately, on my wedding day, I had a horrible breakout but she was so patient with me, worked her magic, and made me feel confident. Frankly, I don't wear makeup & barely have any knowledge of it, so you can imagine the absolute fear I felt of my makeup running or smearing throughout the day and having no one around who knows about makeup for a touch-up. Nonetheless, I can gladly say that was not the case & my makeup stayed on perfectly until the end of the night.

Amy and her team were fantastic. Her email communication was flawless and I really appreciated her working with me to find the perfect wedding look. I went in with a few photos but was able to chat with her during the session and come up with a few ideas that were much better suited for my face and vision. Amy and her team are simply amazing for both hair and makeup. I can't recommend her enough!! I started looking for a hair stylist just 15 days before my wedding. Even though it was so last minute, I had put a LOT of time and effort into choosing the right hair stylist for me, my 7 bridesmaids, my aunt and my mom (10 people total). I'm so happy that I ended up choosing Amy out of the 14 artists that were on my list!! I say above that I was looking for a hair stylist, because originally, my thought was that I could just do my makeup myself, since I do it on a daily basis anyway. Amy was so kind, understanding, and not pushy in any way when I told her this, that after a day of consideration and reviewing her makeup portfolio, I decided to book both makeup and hair. This was THE BEST beauty-related decision that I made for the wedding! Because it was literally less than two weeks until my wedding, we didn't have time to do a trial. Amy asked for photo inspiration & references, my preferences on both hair & makeup, and incorporated my feedback in real time to create a look that's very "me". Such artistry!! She expertly crafted a single polished look for me that coordinated perfectly with my three distinct wedding outfits: my tea ceremony dress, my white wedding dress, and my reception dress. Amy and her team of three also did an incredible makeover for my mom and aunt, both of whom don't regularly do their makeup or hair and have the type of Asian eyelid shapes that causes smearing. She and her team all arrived on time (7am on the dot) at our hotel room and finished on time (actually, even earlier), without making anyone in our huge group feel rushed or stressed, even though we were cramped in a small hotel room. They were so efficient and flexible that I had a whole 40 minutes to grab breakfast downstairs! All of our makeup and hair were still flawless at the end of the night, which is truly impressive, considering how hot it was when we took wedding party pics at the park, that my bridesmaids took their N95 masks (with straps over their heads) on and off during our indoor reception, and that I am notoriously quick to tears ( & snot). The makeup all stayed on my face, with minimal touch-up, even after bawling my way through my vows. In fact, everyone was so impressed with my look that at the reception, an auntie asked for my makeup/hair artist's info for her daughter's upcoming wedding!! I of course shared in a heartbeat, even though the wedding is in NorCal. Thank you again, Amy, for such a wonderful experience and for making us feel beautiful on my special day.

Amy did a FANTASTIC job on making my face and my hair beautiful and STAY beautiful all day the day of my wedding. As someone who never wears makeup, I was very reticent to do things that are very standard - like fake eyelashes - and Amy listened and adapted both my hair and makeup while also giving me her professional opinion on what would be enough - to show in photos, for instance. Her team also did a wonderful job on my wedding party - also scaling the make-up up or down based on their comfort level. It was a lovely experience!

I had a wonderful wedding day makeup experience with Amy! I did a trial first, and we experimented with a couple of hairstyles (down and half-up). On the big day, my hair and makeup were amazing and exactly what I wanted - I could not have dreamed of it being any better. I asked for natural makeup (I don't usually wear makeup), and curled hair with a couple of pieces pinned back, so that I could put flowers in my hair. That is exactly what I got. My hair also typically does not hold curls well, but my hair was still curly at the end of the night! I don't know how she did it. She also gave me a touch up kit, but my makeup stayed on all night anyway. I felt absolutely beautiful!

Amy and her team did the makeup for my wedding in March 2022 and did a fantastic job. Amy's goal is always to make sure her brides look and feel amazing, and she did an incredible job. In our trial, she checked in with me every step of the way to talk through what she was doing most importantly, she encouraged me to give really honest feedback to ensure I was completely happy with the final result. For the day of my wedding, I asked for some adjustments from the trial, and Amy knew exactly what I was looking for. I was so happy with the final result - both my makeup and hair were perfect, and it's because Amy takes the time to really understand what her brides are looking for. She knew I wasn't accustomed to lots of eye makeup, so created a look that was beautiful but still comfortable and really felt like "me." My bridesmaids also looked amazing. I'm so happy I went with Amy and would recommend her to any bride!

Amy and her team were amazing! Amy herself did mine and my sisters hair and makeup for my wedding and she had two people working with her for my other bridesmaids. Everyone looked absolutely stunning!

Amy and her team were great! After 3 postponements, you know the wedding season was crazy but Amy worked to make sure we were synced up with our postponement dates. Her package included the bridesmaids and moms, we just needed to let them know what hairstyles/makeup styles we liked and provide any hair accessories (like shiny pins and combs.) They were on time, brought their own mirrors and lighting equipment. Make sure you provide enough space/seating for the crew - I had 4 bridesmaids and two moms in addition to myself and there were four artists total (including Amy) and asked the hotel to bring in extra chairs to the bridal suite. They always tell you to build extra time because hair and makeup run over, but Amy's team was so well organized. Make sure your ladies are ready when they ask them to be so they can get hair and curling started – they are punctual! My makeup looked good and she included a touch up kit with hair spray (didn’t use it, it held very well even with a helicopter ride and lots of dancing) but the lipstick helped for after food touch ups. What’s really important is also to have your bridesmaids watch out for your makeup and jewelry while you’re going throughout your day (so necklaces don’t get tangled and hairpieces don’t come loose.) None of this happened to me, but hey, just so you know! And yes, I got teary eyed at the vows, but no makeup smears! What I’m happiest about is the great job they did teasing out my MIL’s hair – she has very thin hair and they did a fabulous job with her updo and made her feel beautiful! I did my makeup trial at her house, although I think there was an option for a studio location. Her pricing is very reasonable, especially as a package including makeup AND hair styling. Make sure you have some photos of what you want – no artist is a mind reader! It’s always better to provide photos of hair and makeup styles for inspiration. I’m very happy to have had Amy and her team work their magic for my wedding – definitely recommend!

Amy is so great at what she does! I felt like the most beautiful bride on my wedding day. We scheduled a trial a few months before my big day and she is just so sweet and easy to work with. Her team made my bridesmaids and moms look gorgeous. On top of this, she is punctual and even gives an emergency kit just incase you need to fix hair/makeup during the day. I didn’t even have to use the emergency kit because my makeup and hair stayed perfect the whole time! Thank you Amy!!

Amy was wonderful to work with from start to finish. In my first interaction with her, she provided a detailed quote upon request and we then had a good, helpful conversation about what I was looking for: a very natural makeup look with a bohemian braided hairstyle. During my trial, she listened to what I wanted and made suggestions but left all decisions up to me, which I appreciated. On the wedding day itself, she and her team made my bridesmaids and me look amazing and yet also like ourselves, which was my #1 priority; each one of us had a different look but the group was cohesive as a whole. And, crucially, my makeup stayed fully in place all day/night despite several bouts of happy tears. Amy made the whole process very easy, everything was done on time and with good cheer, and I would highly recommend her services.

Amy was absolutely wonderful. She did my hair and make up for my wedding and had another artist help her with the hair and make up for my bridesmaids. She was super nice and responsive through the entire process even with two postponements due to COVID and went above and beyond to make sure we all looked great for my wedding day. The hair and make up was beautiful and just as we had wanted it and not overdone. It lasted the whole night even with dancing and eating /drinking. She gave us a touch up kit too which we ultimately didn’t need except for lipstick. I will definitely recommend her to friends getting married in the future.

Amy did my hair and make up for my wedding, and she is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend her! Amy is kind, fun to work with and a great communicator. She listened well to what I wanted, and let me know how it could be better for the wedding. I was nervous about not looking like myself with heavy makeup on my wedding day. After talking to her and seeing what she did on the trial, I just told her to work her magic on the wedding day. Amy was able to take my vision and elevate to the next level! As for the hair, I like my trial hair but didn’t love it. So I sent her couple notes a few days before the wedding day to let her know how I’d like my hair on the wedding day. She nailed it! I am very happy how my makeup and hair turned out on my wedding day, and enjoyed my time working with Amy. My husband and all the guests also thought Amy did an amazing job.

Amy and her team were fantastic! I felt beautiful, but not overdone, the whole day. She gave me some things for touch ups, but I never needed it between when she finished around 2pm and when I went home around 2am. I don’t normally wear much makeup, and Amy was great listening to my thoughts/ideas and knowing when to go with it or tell me it would be better a different way. My bridal party also all got hair/makeup done and everyone looked beautiful. Cannot thank Amy and her team enough!!

My trial went perfectly, but then I decided to completely change what I wanted for hair and makeup on the day of my wedding Amy killed it! All my girls and moms were happy. They did such and amazing job!

My hair and makeup were perfect! The trial was great but the actual wedding day was even better. At the trial Amy ensured we kept working on the hair until I was happy and, although we styled it slightly different on the wedding day, she knew exactly what to do to make it beautiful.

Amy was so helpful in not only doing my hair and makeup beautifully, but also teaching me how to use everything! She provided a well thought-out emergency kit for me to use on the day of. Amy made me feel like a QUEEN on my wedding day. My wedding had three outfit changes: A traditional wedding dress, a Chinese qi pao, and a Pakistani Lehenga w/ a heavy floor length duppatta. I needed an artist that understood all three cultures and she helped me create a look that fit all three. I talked to a few make-up salons and artists before speaking to Amy. I loved her artistry and I appreciated the opportunity to speak to her directly unlike other larger make-up studios. She was prompt in her responses, straight forward and her prices were reasonable compared to others. I hired her and her team to do my make-up and a few family members. My trial: I recommend doing a trial so you can try out different looks. From this, I learned that a high bun gave me a headache a few hours later, so we changed it to a lower bun. I also changed the hair style and Amy was flexible in seeing my vision come true! I would recommend asking as much questions as you want during this time and asking for small changes as you see fit. I asked for a different shade of lipstick and it completely changed my look which I loved. She also worked with great products. Day of Wedding: She arrived promptly with her team in the morning. They worked quickly but meticulously and everyone looked so beautiful. She spent at least 2.5 hours on my look and it was even more stunning than my trial. The makeup lasted all day. I also hired one of her artists to come back onsite to help me change into my second Pakistani outfit as a dupatta is hard to get on by yourself without crushing your hair. Again, on time, wonderful! I am trying to think of the next time I could get my makeup done by her! I highly recommend Amy and her team for your wedding day.

Amy is talented, professional, easy to communicate, and organized. It wasn't easy deciding which artist to book when you've never worked with them before. However I liked that Amy's website had a lot of before and after pictures to compare. She had a wide range of clients and it made me comfortable knowing that she's capable of different styles. Amy did my makeup and hair for my engagement and wedding. Everyone complimented how beautiful I looked. I plan on hiring her again for future events.

I had a beach wedding and Amy did a wonderful job with my hair and make up. The make up looks so natural even though it covered my eye bags, my skin looked flawless and I received a lot of compliments! The flower hair crown I had was too thick and Amy trimmed it and looked so much nicer. The hair and make up held up to the wind and lasted from 9am to 10pm! I am very happy with the outcome and I definitely recommend Amy! Will post pics once it's available.

Amy was super prompt (even moved my time slot over a little earlier so I didn’t need to be concerned about being late due to the commute to the chapel!) Did hair and makeup for me and one bridesmaid. My bridesmaid has partial dreads, for the upper part of her hair. Amy didn’t shy away from figuring out a more formal hairstyle for her (and it didn’t cover up my girls pretty dreads that she had updated for the wedding!) Amy gave some tips on skincare and when my bridesmaid and I were done, I felt really gorgeous— I thought we looked like the beauties in model magazines (which is a great confidence boost on your wedding day.) Amy focused on us both and for the hours that she worked she used her time very well, was super professional. She put my veil in before we left and my hair held up until the wee hours of the next morning. Amy was a great investment and I’m very happy with how I looked on our wedding day. If I had another affair in which I hired someone to do my hair and makeup in Los Angelos area, I already know who to turn to: Amy.

Prior to deciding on her, I trialed an alternate makeup artist also highly rated, and it was clear from my trial that Amy was the clear winner at achieving the Asian natural makeup look I was envisioning. Amy did an amazing job on my wedding on Nov 10, 2019! I booked her back in March, and she has been friendly and professional since the beginning, providing helpful advices and always answering my messages quickly. I wasn’t sure what I wanted when we did the trial run and it came out just okay. Amy provided me different options and spent a lot of time discussing with me afterwards. The makeup and hair on the wedding day turned out to be perfect! Better than what I could have imagined. My 3 bridesmaids and my mom didn’t have to go to the venue super early since Amy brought 2 assistants. Makeup and hair were done within 3 hours (plus for the groom). Amy also gave my bridesmaids detailed instruction on how to take care my look before she came back for my second look. The second look was done within 40min and we were able to begin reception as scheduled. Thanks Amy for making all of us look so pretty on my special day! Responsive, flexible, and professional. As you know planning a wedding can be hectic and stressful but working with Amy made our day and planning process so easy. To start, her communication is by far the most responsive of all my vendors, you need her she answered. The getting-ready area for my wedding was a tight squeeze with 9 other girls in the room + her 4 assistants but her team was totally cool with it and made it work. All my bridesmaids, moms, and grandmas turned out BEAUTIFUL and she stuck to schedule so well.
