I cannot recommend Amy enough. I did a hair and makeup trial with her and then she and her assistant did hair and makeup for four ladies, including myself, at our “getting ready” location the day of my wedding. They both did a phenomenal job making us all look and feel beautiful. She is not only extremely talented, but also very personable, making for a pleasant experience.

ectly to plan. I have heard from other friends that have planned weddings that some of their vendors can be non-responsive to call/email, or can add stress to their day. There was ZERO of that with Amy. Working with Amy actually made the planning and the wedding day stress FREE.
My hair/makeup trial with her was a really enjoyable and fun experience. I did a second trial bc I wanted to try out two looks- glad we did, bc we went with the second look. Amy was super relaxed and chill about doing a second trial.
Day of the wedding, she was a lovely and calming person to be around, and of course she did an amazing job with my hair and makeup. She also did my sister and mom’s hair and makeup without doing a trial beforehand and they both looked gorgeous and loved their looks. Amy’s makeup looked great in photos, as well.
Basically, stop mulling it over and just book your special event with Amy. It’ll turn out excellent!

ighly responsive to all of my emails, even during an incredibly busy wedding season, and was always a step ahead in terms of planning, preparing the wedding timeline, and discussing my needs. The hair and makeup trial at her Tribeca studio were great and made me feel totally at ease with Amy, who is also just a ton of fun to chat with and has great stories. She worked with two other team members on the day of my wedding, all of whom came to our location to help my bridesmaids, my mother, my mother-in-law, and me get ready. They were all phenomenal, had a great eye, and were exceptionally kind to everyone, including my sister, who was the maid of honor and is a person with developmental disabilities. Amy also made me feel much calmer with a lot going on that day--she helped me look composed on the outside and the inside! I would highly recommend Amy to anyone and am so grateful to have found her.

They asked everyone to come in with ideas for their HMU and tailored the looks perfectly to how everyone wanted them done. They made getting ready so fun and easy! We did a trial in her studio, which is was more than gracious with my indecisiveness and also the fact my mother was on FaceTime all the way in Australia - giving her own opinion!
I knew I still wanted to look like myself on the day with just an added glow and still look great in photos.
She nailed the look!
My hair stayed in place all day and night without looking like I had sprayed a whole can of hairspray and my make up was still in place even after sweating all over the dancefloor.
It was natural and long lasting!
Amy is so easy going and relaxed, which is exactly what you want on your big day!
Even when we stopped to get a few photos of me opening my present and we started to run behind, I would have never know from her cool, calm, collected nature.
I would and have recommended Amy to every bride!
She also did my mother, MIL and some of my girlfriends who were getting ready with me (I didn't have bridesmaids). They were all in love with their hair and make up and still rave about it!

a great result we signed the agreement for her to do my bridal hair and makeup and additional hair for members of the wedding party. The day of the wedding, Amy arrived on time and prepared to work. Her and her assistant were able to do everything we needed in the allotted time. The results were wonderful. I received lots of compliments. My hair held up the whole day even after being outside for 2 hours during photographs on a breezy day. The makeup was elegant and lasted without me needing touch ups. if I'm ever in need of a hair and makeup person in the future I will not hesitate to use Amy again. Diana.

I came in for my trial with only a vague idea of what I wanted. Amy listened and created a look based on my ideas, but then added the little extra that made me feel amazing. She was able to give me a natural look as for make-up and make curls stay in my very straight Scandinavian hair. I was amazed as for how my hair and make-up kept up all day, and made it through some rain and wind in the mountains of Norway, then non-stop dancing all night! Thank you Amy!!

a, unlike my own hairdresser who was s guest! He arrived 90 mins late and sweaty! Amy had this covered and offered to help out if necessary. Amy’s make up skills were perfect, natural but great for photos and it lasted all day. I was nervous booking from the UK but this lady was a godsend to have in the team. She is such a lovely person and I was grateful to have her skill and kindness on the day.

ly talented and professional, she also is so nice and personable and fun - which is really important given that you spend the first part of your wedding day with your HMU artist!
