From the first lesson on, we felt she set the perfect pace for us, was informative, supportive, and most of all...FUN! We looked forward to dance lessons every week, not only for the time my wife and I got to spend together unwinding from work but also just to spend time with Amy. She's a wonderful and creative person, a fantastic teacher, and our wedding reception dance was choreographed perfectly. She made our unforgettable wedding reception possible and we're now looking forward to continuing to learn ballroom dance as a new hobby!

Amy was amazing in helping us pick the dance styles that fit what we wanted, coaching us through two dances (to two very different songs ... back to back), and getting us ready to perform in only 3 weeks! The biggest thing we loved about working with Amy was her ability to make us feel comfortable and relaxed - not something either of us felt going into the first sessions. Without her personable and humorous nature, we never would’ve been able to make our first dance as special as it was. Our guests still talk about how amazed they were at the dance. Can’t thank her enough! Again, I highly recommend Amy for anyone, regardless of dance level.

en. Next thing you know she’s got us doing a coreographed routine just 6 sessions later. Ideally, I might have added about 2 more just to be more comfortable, but we ran out of time and in the end 6 was just fine. It was so fun to perform our dance in front of friends and family at the wedding! They all got such a kick out of it as it was a surprise to most that we had been taking lessons. Much more fun!

We elected to dance to Aladdin’s “A Whole New World” - sweet and delicate topped off with a little humor using gymnastics ribbons! Amy was a fantastic instructor who demonstrated clarity with her instructions and patience with our efforts. We couldn’t really visualize exactly what we wanted but, with her talent, she created something that exceeded our expectations! The performance she taught us brought the house down! Our wedding guests were thoroughly entertained and it was definitely one of the highlights of our special day! Her professionalism, expertise and tutelage are qualities that cannot be quantified in price. Thank you, Amy!

e to "Buena Sera" by Louis Prima. We found Any Lawrence Ballroom Dance on Yelp, she got good reviews and she was just down the street from us. We got SO lucky. Amy was amazing: fun, patient, and choreographed our dance like it was the easiest thing in the world. We took 12 lessons and practiced our butts off at home and our dance was AWESOME! Our friends lost their minds, the video of the dance is my absolute favorite momento from the wedding. I watch it regularly and I think I always will. Thanks Amy!

ed first dance took away a lot of the nerves and pressure of performing in front of people and made everything go smoothly. It was so much more memorable to have a lovely routine that we could capture on video and keep forever, rather than just swaying back and forth on the dance floor like most people do. I cannot recommend Amy enough!! In about a month's time she took two non-dancers and helped us with a beautiful routine that was genuinely impressive and touching to all of our guests. She is patient, kind, an excellent teacher, flexible in scheduling ,and will know exactly what steps to do once she listens to your song. She’s even good with song recommendations!! I loved her so much and found her so helpful that I also had her help choreograph a dance for my father/daughter dance.

She was flexible and always so positive with us, even when we struggled with learning some moves at times.
