We felt so lucky when Amy had time to take our family photo at our home. We paid the sitting fee ($190) and she arrived on time and ready to go. She was at our home approximate...
ly 40 minutes and shared about 25 photos with us. At the time I appreciated her low key approach. She assured me she had good shots and I trusted her. Amy requires a Zoom meeting or in person to review her "special pricing." When I got the invite to this meeting it was two weeks from time of photo. I was hoping for a Christmas photo and was runing out of time. I asked to see the gallery and just order. She did not reply for four days. I finally did hear from her to find out that a 4 by 6 print is $200. A digital only is sold only as a pack of 5 and is more than $800 with tax. The price reflects the editing she explained. In the photos my husband is orange, my skin is sallow and everyone's color of clothing is off. Amy had no alternative to the pricing and she stated the color was because of my monitor. At this point I had no choice. I am sorry I worked with Amy. She is a kind person and fun to talk with but the prices do not match the quality and it's really disappointing. If you do work with Amy I encourage you to allow lots and lots of time and ask many, many questions.
Amy May Photography is simply amazing! From the very beginning, we developed a wonderful professional relationship. Amy went above and beyond to check with us and made sure I was ...
happy with all of the plans, and that they would be where they needed to be....down to the minute. Their promptness and professionalism was beyond match! When I look back at my photographs, they are stunningly beautiful. Truly works of art using light, shadow, and composition in every shot.
I have been contacted by so many friends asking for information. When I first saw the photographs, I was in disbelief at how well they must have blended into the background of our day because I rarely noticed them. Photographs from such beautiful angles and I never even knew they were there.
Absolutely a part of our day that I am so grateful for. Such a wonderful choice!
Amy was so professional, punctual, fun, and willing to do anything we asked. She was so easy to work with! Can’t wait to see the photos!
