every. single. word. of this review is written with the utmost honesty and accuracy and while I may sound over the top, believe me that it's only because Amy is JUST THAT GOOD. Amy's communication, professionalism, and creativity made her an absolute dream to work with both leading up to my wedding and on the wedding weekend itself. Amy's attention to detail on both hair and makeup is unrivaled; I promise you, you will not leave her chair with a single hair out of place. Beyond the quality of her work, I would be remiss to not add that on top of her skill and professionalism, Amy is one of the kindest and most fun-loving people I've had the pleasure of knowing. She is one of a kind in all the best ways and I'm BEYOND grateful that she was part of my wedding day.

hat I wanted down to the last detail. She looked over my pinterest board and knew my exact style before walking into the room. I told her that I would be very particular, and I am not afraid to give a lot of feedback. I did not have one adjustment to make....she knew what I wanted perfectly and it was truly the most beautiful I have ever felt. It is the feeling every bride wants, and I will always be indebted to her! Also - she was incredibly flexible as we had to throw this wedding together last second (our other plans were cancelled because of COVID) and she worked us into her very busy schedule. I can't believe we found her!!!!! Thank you Amy!!!!!!!!!!!

ferred to my clients, so of course she was my first pick for my own wedding! My husband and I put our wedding together in 31 days due to an illness in the family. I had sent out a text to my favorite vendors and Amy was one of them. I knew she would be able to perfect my vision of have a boat load of curls cascading down my back with a ring of flowers bohemian style. I have a lot of hair, but I knew that Amy also could add extensions and curly ones at that! Something not a lot of stylists offer OR are great at doing. The outcome was perfect. She nailed the makeup AND the hair styling. See photos attached. Not a single person could tell that we had added maybe 15 curled extensions on my head. Not even my husband. Amy took the time to curl each one and even chose a few different colors so that they would blend in with the variety of colored highlights in my hair. I received SO MANY compliments about my hair and felt like a total queen. It made the photography that much better (and being a photographer that was important!), especially from the back. Not only is she talented but she's also fun to be around. She makes what can be a pretty stressful day relaxing with her personality and smile. You're with your MUA all morning so to have that fun energy around is just as important as their talent. Thank you thank you Amy. I'm so glad you were part of my big day!!

y entire wedding party and family could not have been more blown away with her services. I have never liked when another person has done my makeup and I have had my makeup done professionally a number of times...and I LOVED everything about the look Amy achieved. A few incredible stand out points that blew me away beyond my already high expectations of her that I had from reading other reviews: 1) my mother has a very difficult allergy to deal with. It is a preservative in almost all hair and makeup products. Amy was not phased by this. She immediately said it was no problem, requested further detail of the allergy and continued on to complete incredibly detailed research on my mother’s allergen, compiled a list of products that would work for my mom’s skin and hair type that were allergen free. She sent the list of products to me with the ingredient lists included. She even thought of further tactics to help protect my mom against the airborne allergen in regards to timing of the other appointments in the day and location of the services. Her care and thoughtfulness was incredibly appreciated. It made me and my family feel very cared for with something that is very difficult to deal with. 2) She had no issues driving in the winter to Granby CO. She made arrangements to make sure she was to the venue early and that unpredictable winter weather would not be an issue. 3) She was very accommodating day of. When the schedule was shifting and bridesmaids were not in their places etc, she rearranged with ease, keeping stress low and a positive attitude. Her cheerfulness and positivity was amazing and her calming attitude was just the vibe needed on my special day. Everyone was so thrilled with their final looks. With ease she was able to integrate the wishes of all of my bridal party, making each of their looks customized to enhance their beauty, yet keeping the overall look cohesive and natural. I could not recommend her highly enough. Her pricing is incredibly fair for her spectacular work and professionalism. She was an integral part to making my wedding perfect. And my curls looked PERFECT after hours and hours of dancing, sweating, and sleeping on them. Many comments on my stunning and perfect hair during a family brunch the next morning which I would have never imagined possible.

keup in the past where I feel too done-up/don't feel that I look like myself, and that was the last thing I wanted for our wedding day. Amy executed the perfect natural look that lasted through our entire wedding and reception. She custom blends the foundation so it just looks like a more glowing version of your skin, which was amazing. I have thinner hair but wanted a full but natural looking half-up hairdo, and using my extensions she gave me the exact style I wanted that lasted all day and night! Amy is lovely and very talented, she took my vision to heart and made it happen, I would highly recommend her!

ross contamination proved to be an extremely difficult task. After my first email with Amy, I knew she was the one. I loved her work and truly hoped she could accommodate my special request. She reassured me from our first email exchange and even during the makeup application she was careful to make sure I stayed safe. Also, my hair and make up looked AMAZING. She did awesome making sure I felt like myself, but also making sure I looked beautiful on my wedding. I highly recommend!

os. I was very happy with the end result, as were all of my girls - everyone looked great! I'm very particular about both my hair and my makeup. It's pretty hard for me to cede control to stylists, but my trial run with Amy made me feel completely at ease. I loved her emphasis on high-quality skincare, and I could tell that her makeup products are top notch. She achieved the ideal "my natural look, but better" for both my hair and my makeup (i.e., exactly what I wanted and asked for!). After the trial run, I followed up with some feedback on how the makeup held up on my oily skin, and she made adjustments so that everything on "the day" was perfect and stayed put until the very end. On my wedding day I was relaxed and knew I was in great hands! Throughout the process, Amy was responsive to my emails and super punctual, which I really appreciated (especially in the thick of wedding planning madness). It was also especially important to me to find someone who has experience working with all types of skin tones and hair textures, since I had a diverse wedding party. I loved that Amy knows how to do an amazing job with all types of hair and skin tones, and she made sure that all of her additional stylists were up to the job as well. On top of all of that, Amy is just lovely and so fun to hang out with - we had a great time getting ready!! I can't recommend her enough.

oing to do my own makeup, but I am so happy that I ultimately asked Amy if she could also do my makeup. It looked absolutely amazing in pictures and also stayed flawless the entire day after crying and sweating! I knew after my trial with Amy that I had made the right decision to have her do my makeup because later that night, I went for a run and it even started raining. Afterwards, my eyeliner and lashes still looked great! Not only does Amy do a fantastic job, she is also so fun to be around, and it really helped ease my stress to just chat with her while getting ready for the wedding! She also did my maid of honor's hair and one of my bridesmaid's makeup and they looked beautiful! Definitely recommend Amy for any hair and makeup needs! :)

me look the way I wanted. The first hair/makeup run was great and I HIGHLY recommend doing a trial. My hair did not want to cooperate and ended up looking like a big poof ball - which is great, because this helped Amy figure out what we needed to do on the day of the wedding to give it some volume without too much ‘poof’. My makeup was lovely but, even though I made suggestions and told her what I did/didn’t like as we were going along, it just didn’t feel like me. The problem was mostly that I had picked a bold color choice that just didn’t fit me very well. So I booked a second makeup trial so that I could try something else - that time we were really able to nail what looked good and what to do for the wedding! All the while, Amy was very pleasant and open to changes/suggestions. Trust me, she can’t read your mind, so if something doesn’t look right or you want to do something yourself (I did my own eyebrows), say something! She’s there to make you look great and isn’t upset if you want something different or want to do something yourself. The day of the wedding went very smoothly except I kept asking for contouring and it didn’t look right. Turns out, I actually wanted “bronzing” - ladies, if you’re like me, and not a makeup expert, look up the terminology! It’ll save you some frustration. In the end, we figured it out and my makeup came out amazing; she was a champ at handling me being so particular. My hair was gorgeous. And my mom and all of my bridesmaids were equally impressed by Amy and her assistant. Some of their thoughts: “The makeup artists were pretty respectful of those of us that didn't want super heavy makeup. And they handled any nervousness or particularliness from the Bride very well. :) They were very comfortable to work with.” “I loved my hair and make-up and she did my hair exactly the way I envisioned it!! The make-up was really nice and not too much.” In summary, Amy is amazing at listening to what you want and bringing it to life! I’d hire her again in an instant. She made everyone feel very comfortable and at ease, and I looked absolutely beautiful for our wedding!

ter looked absolutely gorgeous because of Tori. She handled her so well. It really made her feel special. The quality of make up they used was also outstanding. My ceremony was rained on A LOT and my hair and makeup lasted throughout the day. It was amazing! I highly recommend Amy and her team.

y curly hair and Amy worked my curls into a half up-do with a head piece that totally emphasized my natural curls, exactly what I wanted. My makeup was natural feeling and looking and stayed on all night long. The two additional stylists that came with Amy were very talented as well, the bridal party & mom's loved their hair and makeup. Above all, Amy is an absolute joy to be around and she made wedding day styling fun and enjoyable!

to hire somebody for hair and make up as it can be expensive, but I recommend everybody to do so! Having your hair and make up done, especially by Amy and her team is worth every penny. They did such an amazing job on me, my bridesmaids, and my mother as well as the mother of the groom. Amy was very organized and timely. She was there at the time they said they would be, and all of the girls were finished with hair and make up as scheduled. They were not only professional, but they were easy going, light hearted, and so kind. I would hire Amy for any hair and make up needs!

. I was never worried or concerned about my hair & makeup. Amy was very organized and had everything prepared for our trial the day before the wedding. She was able to pinpoint exactly what I wanted and made sure that I was 100% thrilled with the style. She was so much fun to work with and brought an excellent hair stylist to help with my bridesmaids too. Everyone was so thrilled with the finished results! I cannot recommend Amy enough! GO WITH AMY! You will not regret it!

foundation so it matches your complexion exactly and looks flawless in person and in pictures. My favorite part about working with Amy is her extension rental program. As a girl with thin short hair I have always had extreme insta-envy when I see all of those full buns and braids, but with Amy's extensions she was able to create the mountain mermaid braid of my dreams! Amy is the best!!!!!

been friends for years. She really listens and cares about what you want and will go out of her way to make sure you are happy. To give you an idea of her quality of hair and her flexibility: I had a mountain sunrise wedding, Amy came to our house at 2:15am to do our hair. Once our hair was looking perfect, my now wife and I hiked up/down a mildly windy mountain for 1.5 miles. We were outside in the mountains until 12pm and we didn't need any hair adjustments at all. Overall, we had the best experience with Amy and would hire her in an instance again. Without her our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect as it was!!

ister, and I all have curly hair and all wanted to keep our hair natural, so that was an extra challenge for me in finding someone. As anyone with curly hair knows, finding someone who can make your natural hair texture look good can be really hard! Amy went above and beyond making sure everyone looked perfect! Plus, when one of the girls wasn't happy with the way her assistant had done her hair, Amy stepped in to fix it and it looked great. Also, Amy is super fun, very calming on your wedding morning, and loves puns almost as much as I do. Do yourself a favor and hire her!!

d it was HOT! But my hair and makeup lasted the whole night and I only needed to touch up my lipstick once (and she provides a complimentary touch-up kit). Not only did I love my hair/makeup, my all of my bridesmaids looked stunning as well. I highly recommend Amy!!
