Once we saw the pictures from the wedding, we were blown away by the quality and amount of moments that were captured that evening. Once we got engaged, we knew booking a photographer had to be one of the first couple things done and we looked at a couple other photographers but we were doing it because we felt we should not because we wanted to. In the back of our minds, we knew it would be Amy and Max documenting our wedding (and engagement pictures). We both had such a positive experience at our friends’ wedding and have the beautiful pictures to prove it. Amy even came out to do our engagement photos a couple days after being attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets and although she said she didn’t feel great, she never let it show!! On our wedding day she made me laugh and helped ease my nerves at every turn even joining in on our Carrie Underwood karaoke session en route to the church. During the reception (which was air conditioned) Max caught all those candid moments when I didn’t know he was watching and followed Ryan and I around the reception venue as we chatted with our family and friends. They made our engagement shoot fun and special—we knew that we wanted to take pictures in Schiller Park and elsewhere in German Village, but Amy and Max came up with fun, unique ideas for places in the park to take pictures, poses to use, and kept us both laughing and smiling the whole time. We got married in the winter and after the ceremony before the reception we went down to the Scioto Mile for pictures with all of the Christmas lights and they stayed out in the cold as long as we wanted and ended up getting absolutely STUNNING pictures with all of the lights. They were such a blast during the reception as well. All of my friends and guests kept asking who the fun blonde dancing with us was, and I had to let them know that was our photographer :) They were absolutely amazing and if I ever needed to take any type of professional pictures again, they would be my first and only choice!

Amy and Max took us all over downtown from pictures in the park to more urban settings near Spaghetti Warehouse. During the session, they learned our styles and how to pose us, even taking notes along the way, making sure there would be no glitches during the big day! Amy provided sneak peak pics within a few days and the full session rather quickly. My fiance and I were so pleased with the engagement session we could not wait for our wedding photos. Prior to the wedding, Amy sent us a list of suggested photos and a timeline of events for the day making sure our needs and wants were covered. On the day of she arrived to the bridal suite on time, while Max arrived in the groom suite and they each took amazing candid photos of the party getting ready. We took the traditional photos of the bridal party and family both inside and outside, but Amy and Max provided great suggestions for unique poses and the best places within our venue to take the pictures. During the reception, both Amy and Max mingled with the guests, took action shots, and seamlessly performed their job. My mom felt like they were meant to be guests at our wedding and part of the family, fitting right in. Within a day of the wedding, Amy sent us some sneak peaks of our big day that brought tears to my eyes! We looked stunning, our guests were happy, and my memories were exactly what I pictured. My Aunt had hired Amy to shoot her wedding in Summer 2014 and when I got engaged (even though I lived in NYC) I knew I had to reach out and see if she would be willing to make the trip to shoot mine in Tarrytown, New York. Thank goodness she was! Hard to believe in such a competitive market like NYC that Amy still looked far more qualified than most. They got to our venue early on Friday, scouted the site and made me feel totally assured that all would go smoothly the next day at our wedding even though they had never been to the venue due to their proactive and adaptable nature. Amy is extremely talented, has such a good eye and so much experience in the wedding business. She knows exactly what to do and makes everything seamless. Max is great too and was able to manage my husband's rowdy crew well :) I love that they work as a wife/husband duo so Amy can shoot the girls to start and Max can focus on the guys. They both have their own set of skills that complement the other very nicely. My little sister, who was my Maid of Honor, literally told me she was worried Amy and Max weren't shooting enough throughout the wedding day but that's how amazing they are. They get the essential posed shots, but mostly natural shots so most photos are taken while you are just in the moment interacting with your bride/groom, bridal party and families, laughing and having fun! You don't feel overrun by photos but you have everything you need. They got us 1400 edited photos (shot over 8 hours) within two weeks of the wedding and the perfect time, in time to have some printed as holiday gifts. Crazy fast editing skilss! Needless to say, we had so much to choose from! I would recommend them to everyone. They even had our USB with high res, non watermarked files delivered in a beautiful box with photographs from the big day as long as some beautiful 5 x 7 prints on matte board. As a photographer myself, I was a bit nervous about choosing the right photographer...I definitely selected the best! They were the best vendor we hired by far. If you are in Ohio, you would be crazy not to use Amy and Max. Thanks for everything!!!

Amy helped plan the timeline for the entire day and was incredibly responsive leading up to the wedding. She was one of the few vendors who would respond quickly, and trust me I had a lot of questions! She's already sent me a lot of pictures and they are absolutely perfect. We did an engagement session (which was included in our package) and not only did the pictures turn out beautiful, but it was very helpful for us to get to know Amy and her husband Max before our wedding day. On our wedding day, our bridal party kept commenting on how great our photographers were. They made everyone feel very relaxed and comfortable. More importantly, our bridal party had lot of fun taking pictures! Since we didn’t do a first look, Max stayed with the groomsmen before the wedding and Amy stayed with the bridesmaids. It was so nice to have two photographers during that time. We just got our wedding proofs back and I almost cried looking through the pictures- Amy and Max did such an AMAZING job capturing our day that I feel like I am reliving it when I look through the images. They both do a great job using light to create some beautiful images. We have a perfect mix of traditional and more unique photos. Months before the wedding Amy helped alleviate some of our stress by helping us organize and schedule the events of the day, which helped make everything flow so smooth the day of the wedding. She was always staying on top of the time and where we needed to be next. The pictures Amy and max captured were INCREDIBLE. I had many people comment that they should appear in bridal magazines and this was absolutely due to their wonderful photography skills/vision. the process before the actual wedding; she was flexible as our daughter wanted more time on the wedding day. When Amy and Max arrived they started their magic and were there very unobtrusively to document the day, via the beautiful photos that they produced for us. I did not know how important it would be to have 2 photographers; it is a must!!! I was nervous, as the mother of the bride about all my choices and how the day would go. Amy was calm and there to help with many aspects of the day, including helping with a snap on my daughters wedding gown as my fingers were fumbling. The gown was beautiful as was my daughter in the gown, and oh how Amy captured the beauty of both!! My daughter is glowing in these picture!! The love that was captured of my family on this day as well as my daughter and her husband is priceless!! The venue, The Westin is a beautiful one. The pictures of the room decorated with our choices, some with the bride and groom, could in my opinion be in a national advertising campaign. It rained the day of and despite my stress because of the weather Amy had amazing ideas on how we can still capture beautiful pictures. Amy brings her husband Max along and he is a WOW as well. While Amy captured the boys photos, Amy got the girls so no moment is missed. We got our pictures back in record timing (10 days!!) and they're so wonderful. We were able to relive a very special day because of Amy Rebecca. I HIGHLY recommend, 10 stars, the BEST in Ohio.

I highly recommend booking an evening engagement session with Amy and her husband Max. They are experienced sunset chasers and the pictures they took of us are stunning! Max is very good at capturing silhouettes, so if you like that style, he executes it well. I'm getting married in Florida but already signed a contract with a local photographer. I really wish I would have booked them for my wedding because it's on the beach at sunset! If you're having a destination wedding, I highly recommend spending extra money for them travel to your location.

From when Amy first arrived to the hair and make-up salon, she fit right in with all the girls in my bridal party. The rest of the bridal party was upstairs and I couldn't decide, and I felt like I had a friend helping me out with Amy's advice! Back to the pictures though... They snapped serious pictures, goofy ones, candids, shots of all the beautiful details of the day and of all the people who made the day so special, and were incredibly patient with the list of probably 100+ pictures I wanted throughout the day (we have a big family and I had a lot of specific combos I wanted at the church!). They are professional and punctual, and even helped organize the guys and girls for the day to assure that my husband and I wouldn't see each other until I walked down the aisle (Max was with the guys and Amy with the girls). Our wedding was an Indian wedding and even though Amy had not photographed an Indian wedding before, I had no concerns. One of the things we liked the most was that Amy and her husband, Max, were there on our wedding day. Amy was mostly with me and Max was with my husband. With an Indian wedding, there are so many things going on that it would be difficult to only have one photographer. When looking through our pictures, we truly felt like we were reliving the day. They did such a great job of capturing the little details. We had some timeline issues during the wedding day, but Amy and Max stayed calm, which kept us calm, and we ended up still getting beautiful photos. The turn around in getting our digital pictures was amazing (1 month), although Amy did say this was a little faster than usual. We are getting an album made by Amy Rebecca, and it is definitely going to be difficult to pick only 50 pictures! I would absolutely recommend choosing Amy Rebecca Photography for your wedding day!
