Amy and her team were absolute rockstars to work with from our first consultation over Zoom to the bouquet toss at our wedding reception. After we first met Amy, we knew that she was going to be a perfect fit! She is so kind-hearted, warm, and bubbly! Her organization skills are no joke, she took care to make sure she had all of details squared away before our big day and she worked so well with our wedding planner, Bee For The Day. As soon as we got our engagement photos back, I knew that our wedding photos would be jaw-dropping and sure enough they were nothing less than that! Amy was so intentional with every shot that she took from our engagement photos to our wedding images. We are beyond please with Amy's professionalism and performance. We would hire her to shoot our wedding 1,000 times over if we could! Thank you Amy, we love you!

Selecting Amy Simkus as our photographer was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She is very easy to work and communicate with. While taking pictures, she is a such a hype woman!! She truly makes everyone feel at ease, even for those who are camera shy. We met with with Amy to discuss the flow of the day and she built a great timeline based off our discussion. She answered our questions, gave advice and ensured she knew everything/everyone we wanted captured so we didnt have to worry about that on the day of. We did not have a wedding planner, so we used the detailed timeline Amy had created as a guide for the rest of our vendors. On the wedding day, she worked so well with all of the vendors, even helping lead them (the videographer) so everything got the shot they needed and it all ran smoothly. Throughout the entire process and the day of, it was clear that she is very experienced! I also really appreciated that she was very open to any idea I had and would make it happen. The pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. The editing enhances the pictures but they still looks natural and classic. I would absolutely recommend Amy Simkus to anyone looking for a photographer!!

I am so grateful and happy that we went with Amy for the photography for our June wedding! Every photo that we have gotten from her so far has been so true to her style and more beautiful every time we look at them. She also did our engagement photos over the freezing cold of winter and they turned out looking so natural and beautiful. She is so very easy to work with and is the ultimate hype girl that everyone wants to help them feel comfortable and beautiful! She made us feel so special and captured so many beautiful moments of our wedding. She was so creative with the space that we gave her. She got pictures done quickly and also made the most of our time together. Amy was to the point of what photos needed to be done and how to pose but was also very kind to everyone that she encountered at the wedding. She had an assistant with her, Megan, who was very helpful in fixing my dress and gathering everyone and everything that we needed to be as efficient as possible. She made sure to get all of the photo opportunities that we wanted and additionally made sure to ask our parents if there were any group photos that they wanted before she left. She let us incorporate our dog, Chey, in both photo ops because she is so important to us and was great with getting her attention and thinking of ways to include her. We are so very excited to see more pictures from the wedding and already received sneak peeks within the first day & week which made us so very happy!

Amy is simply amazing!!! I received 9 sneak peaks 24 hours after my wedding day and was instantly speechless. I was very shocked with the quick turn around time. The pictures turned out exactly as I had dreamed up in my head. I didn’t even need to tell her where I hoped to take pictures at the venue, she already read my mind. Also, during the cocktail hour and reception her or her assistant was always nearby where I could give them a quick signal to grab a picture with a friend or family member. Aaron and I were nervous about so much attention and so many cameras (2 photographers and 2 videographers) and we barely noticed they were there at the reception. I felt like a kid in a candy stop looking through each and every picture. Take note---I have only seen the sneak peaks. I cannot even imagine how I will feel when I get the entire gallery. The day of the wedding my entire family and bridal party kept mentioning how wonderful Amy was to work with. She kept things moving while making it fun (especially for a lot of people who don’t love their picture taken). Even my father-in-law said "The photographers pictures look like a dream. She captured the moments just like I remembered. WOW!!" My mother-in-law also loved working with her so much she kept saying the next day "Amy might be my new best friend." I appreciate Amy more than she will ever know. I might be tearing up right this moment so grateful my PERFECT day was captured so beautifully. I knew I could trust her capturing my big day after doing an amazing job for my engagement photos. GO BOOK HER NOW IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER. I happened to stumble upon her work on social media I believe and loved her light, airy, natural style. I am not sure I will ever be able to use anyone else to capture important moments in my life.
