It was amazing how many GORGEOUS shots she was getting, especially how she captured split second moments. The website that she uses to deliver the photos to you is great. All together a beautiful process. I highly recommend hiring a 2nd photographer through her too like we did. Having 2 photographers allowed us to get even more gorgeous shots – one could be snapping a must-have moment while the other could snap a sentimental moment that was happening at the same time. I had looked online beforehand and knew I wanted a shot of me and the groom under my veil, so I asked her on the wedding day and she was happy to oblige. If there are a couple shots/poses you know you want, figure it out in advance so you can ask her! You don’t want to regret it later. After the wedding day it’s too late. Same for which people you’d like to group together in pictures. She did a phone call with us beforehand to talk through important things for her to know and shots we wanted which was really helpful. A couple parts during the day felt rushed, like the family shots and wedding party shots, but she had warned me of that in advance since we only did the 6 hour package, and the photos still turned out beautifully. She also recommended the lighthouse for our first look, and it was great! Amy was one of the vendors we got to know the least on a personal level, just because we didn't have a lot of conversation beforehand except for a few emails and the 30 minute call where we got down to business, but that was okay, she is great at what she does and it shows! One reason we chose her is because of her experience and her extensive education in art and photography which you can find on her website. We are so happy and absolutely love our photos!

As soon as she walked in she was so sweet, professional and knew both our locations inside and out (which helped at Wayfarer's Chapel because of of the restrictions they have). We felt so comfortable with her that we stopped doing the traditional poses and were able to capture our personalities more, these turned out to be our favorite photos! I wish we had been able to work with her for our engagements and bridals as well! We waited 2 weeks to have a reception back in Dallas and Amy was so sweet to rush and get us some of the Ceremony photos early enough to display at the reception. They were BEAUTIFUL and got so many compliments! The rest of the pictures only took a couple more weeks and we couldn't have been happier! Besides getting great pictures of us, our family and friends, the natural elements and intimate details are exquisitely displayed in every picture as well. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and highly recommend Amy Theilig Photographic!

We held our wedding at Wayfarer's Chapel and Amy's vast experience with Chapel meant that she knew all the best places to catch the light and get those photos that you know you'll look back to for so many years to come. She also knew the surrounding area and recommended some spots to get extra beautiful photos of us before our reception. As for quality, the photos we got we just simply stunning! Just like in the sample photos on her website, my wife and I felt that she captured the vivid, warm California colors in all our photos--just talent! She got all the best shots of our guests as well. No one was left out, and the in-the-moment pics all showed how much everyone had fun on our day. When it came to group shots, she gave fun and easy directions that brought out the best in our group. All our friends enjoy our photos as much as we do (many great smiles). Thanks Amy!

She was very flexible as she took my wedding with one month prior to the big day despite her busy schedule. She was quick to respond to my questions via email or phone. She was very professional as she stood true to her contract. She was very punctual and was easy to work with as she directed us to poses but still allowed us to feel comfortable and gave us the freedom to do our own poses. Amy's work is spectacular. She captures, emotion, good lighting and angles that make her work magical. I am very satisfied with my wedding album. Amy created a masterpiece I am pleased to look at every time I open it. over e-mail and I met her for the first time on my wedding day. She showed up on time and was nice and friendly. I didn't have a plan for what pictures I wanted so she directed us throughout the day in pre-weddding photos, ceremony pics, family shots, beach shots, marina shots, reception shots, etc. She helped us pose so that we looked great in the pictures- we felt like models. I also love how she captured our natural moments. I had originally thought I didn't need wedding photos but was so thrilled when she posted them on her website! The colors were vivid and she added an artistic touch that make them truly unique.

id a beautiful job with our wedding photos. The images are very vivid, bright and carefully thought out. She was right on time the day of and stayed a little later then she had to. She was very discreet during the ceremony and reception, which was a lovely touch. We received our pictures very quickly and our album as well (which is absolutely beautiful and worth every penny!). There was a small error on one of the pictures in the album and she did not hesitate to fix it. Great service!

She is easy going, fun, and patient about understanding what you want from her, while still being assertive, confident and super professional while she is working. When I got my proofs, a few weeks after our wedding, I was really excited. There were so many great shots, from posed, to candid, to family, to the details they were everything I had hoped for and a whole lot more. Amy has great style and really caught the emotion and feeling of the day in her pictures perfectly. Then when I received my album and I was FLOORED, it's FANTASTIC!!!
