Amy was a HUGE help throughout the planning process and for the day of the wedding. During our consultation she dove right into breaking down our ballpark budget, and we were hooked from there. She guided us with timelines and helpful pushes in the right direction when we needed to prioritize. Amy also helped us pick out rentals and design our tablescapes at the rental warehouse. A big help was her knowledge of all the contracts and taking over communication with the vendors leading up to the wedding. Her coordination with them took so much pressure off me so I could focus on last minute seating charts and other small details. The day of the wedding was incredibly smooth thanks to her! We’d been through several walkthroughs of the venue and an efficient rehearsal (her first time doing a wedding with The Maples), so we were all well prepared. Amy made sure to find time to check in on both of us to see if we needed anything. She reminds me so much of a swan - totally calm appearance but under the surface she’s totally running around with all the details! I cannot thank her enough. Even our guests thank her!!

Amy was simply amazing throughout the whole process. We were hesitant at first, believing we could do it all ourselves while saving a little bit of money. Amy was one of, if not the best investment we made in the wedding. She was easily reached, always on time, and came with endless ideas and solutions to any problems we had. Where do I even begin? From the moment we had our first phone call with Amy, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding planner because you don't think you need one, you're wrong, hire Amy! She is so organized, has a million great ideas and a solution to EVERY problem. In the last 2 months leading up to our wedding, I started to become a little nervous about all the little details coming together and began to second guess myself. Amy was there to answer ever question and concern my now HUSBAND and I had. She is so level-headed, has a calm demeanor when dealing with stressful situations (which is exactly the demeanor this Bride needed) and has this incredible ability to handle the unexpected with ease. She was ON IT with communicating with all of our vendors (there were several), reading through all the contracts and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Now, for our wedding day... We were supposed to have beautiful weather, but a storm rolled in and we ended up with clouds and rain. Thankfully, our venue was indoor/outdoor. We planned to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with the reception to follow inside. Amy gave us several Plan B options leading up to the day because there was a chance it would rain on us during our ceremony... and it did! But that's good luck, right? We were adamant about having our ceremony on the lawn area, outdoors because that was our vision. Amy had the brilliant idea of bringing clear umbrellas - enough for our guests to huddle under and share and one for us, that didn't distract or take away from our ceremony and actually made for some really cute pictures. While the rain / gloomy weather weren't a part of our original plan, it didn't ruin or take away from our day at all like I thought it might. Being a Type A bride, I had to take a few minutes to step aside after the ceremony, during cocktail hour that we had to cram inside, but with Amy & my husband's help, I got over it and we truly had the BEST day. We couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Planner. We have gotten numerous compliments not only about our beautiful wedding and all the intricate details, but also about AMY. People were in awe of how well she handled everything in the background while we were all eating, drinking, dancing and enjoying. To say that Amy not only made our day run so smoothly, but also saved it, is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century. We would have been completely lost without her. She made us feel like family and whatever we wanted, she made happen. Amy & her staff have our highest recommendation. Our wedding day will forever be engraved in our minds. My husband and I got married on June 10, 2023. Although I feel like I have a type A personality, wedding planning can still be extremely stressful. There are so many little details you tend to not think about. This is why we hired Amy Varain. Not only is she very detail oriented but she is creative, personable and outgoing! Throughout the planning process, she listens to all your wants and preferences and makes everything happen! She is amazing at improvising and making sure every detail is perfect. Not only was she amazing throughout the planning process but she was a rockstar the day of and alleviated so much stress from my husband and I. Amy was the GREATEST wedding planner EVER! She was not only organized, helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, but her website and online checklists were Heaven sent. The first thing I noticed about Amy was her charming, caring, and warm personality, like wedding planning was a natural talent she had rather than something she was doing just as a business. Amy was absolutely amazing. The months leading up to the wedding were very hectic for Jane and I but we still wanted to be involved in the planning of our big day. Amy made it so easy for us to find the perfect balance as she kept us on track while doing so much of the leg work for us. The genuine care that Amy showed for us as a family and how much she wanted our day to be special permeated throughout the entire weekend. On the wedding day itself, I truly felt like I did not have to think about or worry about anything other than saying "I do" to the love of my life. So many of our guests commented how smooth the day went for them and how special they felt. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her and she will always hold a very special place with our family.

Working with Amy was an absolute dream! Not only does she bring a fun and positive attitude to the table, she also has years of experience making your special day YOURS. She is by far the most organized person I know with checklists and timelines that will make your life SO MUCH EASIER!! Whenever we "got stuck" in the planning process she knew exactly how and when to nudge us along. If any idea wasn't working out, she always had a few alternatives up her sleeve to share. She is fantastic at dealing with lots of different personalities and, of course, heightened emotions as you get closer and closer to your big day. Day of, she was a godsend!! She and her team were in lockstep making sure every last detail was attended to. We made a couple last minute pivots based on how the day/evening was progressing and she was just so "go with the flow" about all of it, it really helped us relax and truly enjoy the day! If you have the opportunity to work with Amy, do everything you need to make it happen!

We hired Amy to help with our wedding and could not have been more impressed. I really wanted the day to be perfect for my wife and was worried that she would feel stressed leading up to the wedding and the day of. Luckily, Amy made sure we were able to enjoy ourselves and took the stress out of the few weeks of planning. If anything came up the day of the wedding that me or my groomsmen needed help with, it was so nice to be able to go to Amy instead of bothering my wife with any questions. Amy had detailed day of schedules for my groomsmen so they always knew when and where they needed to be. She also kept them in line before the ceremony as they tend to get a little rowdy. In addition to a day of schedule, she texted me the morning of with a nice reminder of the things I needed to do. She really took away all stress for our wedding day and I highly recommend her for couples looking for a planner.

We really could not have planned our wedding without Amy's expert help and support! My biggest recommendation for couples planning their wedding is to budget for a planner and book Amy without a doubt!!! Our wedding was at a friend's property that wasn't typically used as a wedding venue. Amy was prompt, professional and provided amazing tools and advice as we were selecting and booking our vendors. When she took over communication with our vendors, I was SO impressed with her professional and efficient ways of handling communication with them. She is also extremely detail-oriented and caught things in contracts I would have missed (like providing a 4ft table for the photo booth vendor). She and her team were life savers the day of our wedding!! Amy allowed us to be able to be present and enjoy every detail of our wedding, she also made sure we were enjoying ourselves at all times. She checked-in with us while we were getting ready, made sure we didn't miss out on appetizers, and gave me and my husband private moments to take in our special day. She knew dancing was important to us and kept us on schedule so that time was not cut short. My elderly father was present at the wedding and I was concerned about his health - Amy and her team were constantly checking in with him and getting him whenever he needed. I also recommended Amy to my best friend so I was able to see her in action at that wedding as well. We are so so glad we hired Amy and would recommend her for any bride and groom in need of a planner.

Amy and her team were invaluable to our wedding planning process and ensuring the day was perfect. The aisle planner software was perfect for us since we were able to handle most of the planning but having the checklist, resources, and organization available on the platform helped to keep us on track. We were able to reach out to Amy with any questions and had all of our wedding details in one place. In the months leading to the wedding we met with Amy and downloaded all of the wedding details to her. Amy helped us ensure we covered every little detail, even some small ones we would have never known to cover. On our wedding day, Amy and her team made magic happen. Despite what seemed like crisis after crisis in the days leading up to our wedding, Amy made sure everything was set up beautifully, we stuck to schedule as most as possible, we got food and drink, and most importantly were able to enjoy time with our guests and each other. She truly cares and is there to make your day perfect - case in point she was on her knees scrubbing the dirt out of my wedding dress right before our ceremony! We cannot thank Amy enough for helping to make our wedding the best day of our lives.

She had great creative ideas to make sure our vision came to life. On the day of, it truly did feel like we were guests at our wedding. Amy and her team handled everything flawlessly. Amy's services are hard to put into words. She was either 1000% organized and prepared or 1000% on top of any little thing that may have popped up, and either way, she was absolutely phenomenal. She blew my and my husbands expectations out of the water by handling every single thing the day of, she even made sure we got loaded into our vehicle with a second dinner in case we were hungry. I truly felt like a guest at my own wedding and I could not have asked for anything more. She made my wedding day dreams come true.

We hired Amy to be our coordinator in October of 2019 and after having to postpone our wedding through the pandemic, we were finally able to have it as we'd originally envisioned it in June, 2021. Amy was indispensable throughout the entire process, rolling with the updated restrictions and keeping us in contact with our vendors and venue, including with all the shifting guidelines for being able to gather in person. The day of, she took care of EVERYTHING and made it so we could fully enjoy the day without worrying even once about any logistical questions. Her and her team kept the entire day running smoothly. She thinks of everything and even printed little schedules for the bride and groom and our families/bridal party that we could hand out whenever we got questions. Details like this made us so comfortable that she'd take care of everything and we had the most wonderful time thanks to her.

While I am an organized person that likes to plan parties I had no idea where to start with my wedding. Amy was absolutely wonderful! She brought so much knowledge and asked us questions that we didn’t know we should be thinking about and guided us through all of the steps with our vendors as we planned our wedding. She organized everything into a detailed and smooth timeline. I didn't have to worry about any of the details because I knew that Amy had it under control, and being a self confessed control freak, this was a rare and welcome experience for me. It was great experience, she is like the Mary Poppins of weddings, practically perfect in every way! My whole family and I will be recommending her to everyone we know!

Wow! There are no words. Amy was exceptional to work with and exactly what I was looking for in a wedding coordinator! She went above and beyond. I was having a very hard time with another coordinator I was working with due to lack of communication. Needless to say, I was feeling defeated and super stressed. Luckily, I found Amy through another bride who had worked with her. Literally, the best decision I made for my wedding was choosing Amy as my coordinator. She swooped in and made my wedding a breeze. It rained right before my wedding (luckily cleared up for my ceremony), but Amy was so sweet and calming and that energy was contagious. I stressed a little at the reception, but Amy gave me a Mai Tai (haha) and made me feel like a special guest at my wedding. I was lucky enough to find Amy through our wedding photographer. She highly recommended that I contact Amy as she had worked with her on several weddings and was the best wedding planner she had ever worked with. And I am so glad we did. From our first phone conversation Amy made us feel so comfortable and gave us confidence in our wedding planning process. She was very organized and always prepared ahead of time for our phone meetings so every time we talked we accomplished so much! She was always there when we needed her throughout the night letting us enjoy the moment yet keeping the wedding moving forward with our timeline so nothing was missed. She even tended to my parents and family to make sure they had everything they needed and truly took on the hostess role so everyone could enjoy the night. Amy is amazing at what she does and you can tell she truly cares about her clients and loves what she does. We would highly recommend her to everyone we know and hope to work with her again one day!

Amy is amazing at what she does, and I 100000% recommend her to anyone planning a wedding! Words cannot describe how grateful I am to her. She stepped in at the last minute (please do not ask her to do that if you can help it, these were extenuating circumstances!) and helped ensure that my friend's wedding was a success. Don't make the mistake of thinking that there isn't much for her to do. After our first conference call during which she brought up a bunch of things we'd never thought about, we knew we were lucky to have her on board. Despite squeezing 2 months of work into a week and a half, she gave the couple the same attention as someone she'd been working with for awhile, and went above and beyond the call of duty. I can honestly say that she made the difference between the day being a great memory vs. a day full of surprise disasters. I was able to breathe so much easier knowing that she had it covered. I would hire Amy again in a heartbeat and I hopefully will be able to - but next time, it will be way earlier!

If there were more stars- I would give her them. Amy was an absolute godsend. 6 weeks before our wedding I had an unfortunate accident and broke my back. Two weeks before our wedding my appendix ruptured and I was in hospital. By the time I had woken up from emergency surgery, my angel fiancé and maid of honor had hired Amy and it was the best thing that happened to our wedding! I wish we had hired her for the whole process because she genuinely alleviated any and all stress from our planning, our week, and day of. She was kind, thoughtful, meticulous in detail in ways I never even thought necessary, and just a beautiful soul all around. She knew everything we needed before we needed it, she rocked my nephew to sleep so my sister in law could use the restroom- she’s the Mary Poppins of weddings and I can’t recommend her enough. I found Amy on the knot.com, spoke with 3 different planners, and decided on Amy because she told me any budget was possible, it’s just about setting your 3 top priorities and focusing on those, getting creative with the others. She seemed flexible and like a great listener of my goals and vision. After working closely with Amy for 8 months in planning and having just hosted the most incredible 200 person wedding at my family residence this month, i know now she is all of that and way more. She is energetic, fun, kind, can think of several solutions on the spot to any dilemma. She really knows event planning but let’s the client do the driving. She’s a great teacher and guided me through everything. I knew exactly what to expect and didn’t have to stress at all, what a true gift. She catered to my guests of every age, my elderly family members as well as the dozens of babies and toddlers and families, keeping everyone comfortable, safe, and providing activities for everyone- even swooping in and handing a cup of popcorn to a crying toddler during speeches and making their day. She did this in the same manner that she caters to each of my brothers, fiancé, and parents’ concerns during the planning process. She met each of our unique needs and removed all worry. Amy is phenomenal and there is no better planner or coordinator, and I know I speak for my entire family, every guest, and every vendor she worked with for us. Amy was born for this job and we are fortunate to have found her and now have memories to last a lifetime. She made our wildest dreams possible for that weekend and there is truly nothing she can’t accomplish! This is why I give Amy all the stars in the sky out of 5.

I have so many great things to say about Amy. I'll start by sharing a little bit about me. I have autoimmune disease and high anxiety. When I first started to plan our Wedding, I knew right away that I was going to hire a day of coordinator because I was already worried about how the big day was going to play out exactly how I wished it would. And yes, I am Type A personality. So, finding the right Wedding Planner for me was very important. Then I found Amy. During our first phone call, one of the first things she mentioned was that she understood my health issues and has had experience working with someone with similar ones. Right then I knew I was hiring her. From the start Amy made me feel comfortable and eased - which helped me trust that she was going to be amazing. Every step of the way, she was reassuring about the day of and made sure I was doing ok physically and mentally. On our big day I was SO anxious. But there she was, talking me thru it, reminding me to eat, making sure I was hydrated, and easing every worry on my crazy mind. Amy took everything I planned, envisioned, and hoped for, and brought it all to life more perfectly then I imagined. Our Wedding happened flawlessly, and looked incredible. All the while, my husband and I were overjoyed and focused on enjoying our day celebrating with our friends and family, carefree. I decided to hire Amy Varain as my day-of wedding coordinator and words cannot describe how grateful I am for Amy and her wedding planning assistance. She went way beyond my expectations and provided to me so much more than what is typically expected from a day-of coordinator. When speaking with Amy for the first time via FaceTime, she already had done her research about my early ideas for wedding planning. She had questions about my ideas and really made me feel comfortable talking to her. We chatted on FaceTime over 45 minutes, and the time flew by because she was so prepared and well organized. Even though I hired Amy as just a day-of coordinator, she prepared multiple FaceTimes for at least one to two hours a few months before the wedding, just to understand and prepare the schedule for the day of the wedding. She was incredibly prepared, and no time was wasted or rushed during these FaceTimes. She listened thoroughly to my visions and made sure she clearly understood what I had in mind, that way she would be able to make my dream wedding come to life. Also, she was so quick with her responses to emails, that it made communication with her very easy. Her precision to detail included an in depth time, color coordinated time schedule with items that pertained to certain aspects of the wedding. She made sure to have all the contact information of the vendors and the info of people in my family that she could contact in case of questions during the wedding so she wouldn’t have to interrupt my husband, our parents, or myself. When we got out to the island, she was so kind to meet up with us multiple times to talk with vendors, finalize wedding plans, and understand the regulations of the venue. She contacted vendors and really made me feel at ease because the stress was off of my shoulders. Prior to our wedding rehearsal at a Catholic Church, which Amy attended, she did her research so she would understand and respect the rules of the church. After the rehearsal, she passed out individualized schedules for every member of the wedding party along with times as to when we should start and begin different things during the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she made sure we followed the schedule, but she didn’t make us feel rushed or panicked. Instead, she was calm, composed, and very professional. She brought along a day assistance, Miley, that helped my husband and his groomsmen make sure they were staying on track. Amy had planned for Miley to be at the wedding venue to set up so it would be ready for when guests arrived after the church reception. During the reception, Amy made sure that my husband and I were well catered to the entire night and kept us along schedule. Unfortunately, we had some uninvited guests crash our party, but Amy was right on it in making sure that those people were escorted quickly off of the premise. Also, she was very good at reading different situations. She was very aware of the guests and their state of mind along with both my husband and myself. She arranged a ride for us at the end of the night so we would make it safely back to our hotel. I truly hope that all brides consider Amy as your wedding coordinator in Maui. Amy is a highly organized person and our wedding guests raved about her excellency and professionalism. I would highly recommend her to anyone having a destination wedding out in Maui! We loved you Amy! Thank you for all that you did for us!

My bride was beside herself when she realized that she could have everything she hoped for on our wedding day. With Amy by our side, we really felt taken care of and pampered as guests of our own wedding. Every detail was taken care of from drinks waiting for us after our ceremony for a toast to water to keep us hydrated throughout our event. She kept us on our timeline but made the night feel seamless and unrehearsed. Thank you Amy for really making our dreams come true. I have had the pleasure to work with Amy on several events and I am always amazed at how she pulls it all together so easily. She is so organized and detailed. I knew Amy was what I needed for my wedding, so I could enjoy and not be stressed. However, I didn’t realize how much I needed Amy until my wedding day. There were things that happened at my wedding that I wasn’t even aware of until after my event was over. Amy handled everything behind the scenes just like I would have except she was able to take care of it without me knowing or having it effect my wedding day. She was a pro and came up with solutions on the fly to have me and my guests thinking my wedding was a flawless event. I realized you hire a wedding planner not for why you think you need them, but for actually all the things about weddings that you don’t know could happen. The experience a planner brings to your wedding is intangible to getting the results of the stress-free flawless event of your dreams.
