wedding day arrived, she went way beyond what I could have imagined. It wasn't an easy day. It was an outdoor ceremony and reception and the weather didn't cooperate. It was raining before the ceremony, and she managed to find us enough cover to still hold it in open air and stay dry. She got a tent for us to have our meal in, but after we finished eating, the weather turned ugly. She must have been monitoring the weather reports or something because at one point she turned to me and said to get everyone inside the building NOW because the weather is turning and it was not an ask, it was a demand. She knew something was up. So, we started having everyone move inside but the weather got bad quickly and as it turned out there was a small tornado in the area which was throwing out some severe wind. Bad enough to blow up the sides of the tent and dislodge one of the support poles. By that time, we were running into the shelter where the dancing took place. Without her monitoring it or her quick decision making, we would have been in real trouble. After that she moved the party along. It was seamless and went really well, even with the rain pouring down outside. Can't give her enough credit. Without her it would have been a disaster to remember. Hire her! She had solutions for everything as well as fun ideas we would have never thought up on our own (ask her about dance to dinner!). She helped us with our signage and decor by going out of her way to create table numbers, a seating chart, and a welcome sign, among other things. We thought we were organized, but Amy helped us to prepare for the wedding by having a detailed checklist, timeline, budget preparation, and vendor tracking. I believe Amy was the most valuable person on our vendor team because she always went above and beyond and was the only vendor willing to look out for us and ensure our day went how we wanted it to. Wedding planning is extremely overwhelming, but having Amy reduced our stress and fears significantly. The wedding industry can also be very fake, but Amy was genuine, kind, personable, and caring. Though, I’ll admit that my price point was often defined by some level of industry ignorance. Amy really helped guide this conversation by having us focus on three areas where our largest investment would go. As for the others, we could find opportunities to be creative or save money. As an activity we thought about the last few weddings we attended and the three things that stood out the most. It was a great perspective to understand that your guests won’t recognize every detail, and how you shouldn’t overspend on everything. Sharing our own key components and the reasons why helped us align on budgets consistently throughout the process and gave Amy insight as to how she could best provide options. Details, details, details: My wife spent a significant amount of time researching and reading about weddings. In addition, she has her own background in event management. Likely a frustrating archetype for a client of any wedding planner. But Amy always accounted for that extra layer of detail that we missed. And was a trusted extra layer to review our vendor contracts. Amy provides a process and structure to the timing of when each step should be started and completed. The list is a template and can change to the nuances of your own day and needs. Our planning site had usable templates for a variety of circumstances. Every note, document, & penny was accounted for easy reference. Listening and connectivity: Amy really took the time to listen to each one of our personalities and address our concerns or questions. I personally never felt like a secondary decision maker in the process even though my wife had more outspoken thoughts and visions to share. We had multiple meetings and check-ins, and I quickly found myself enjoying our conversations. It wasn’t always just business - we shared stories and laughs. These moments really enhanced how well the wedding day was executed because Amy knew us and our personalities. She knew how we would want any issues to be handled and where our priorities were. Day of coordination: Amy brings a strong team together on the day of to make sure all guests and vendors are managed to perfection. Even if there were issues, you wouldn’t hear about them, and you certainly wouldn’t see the impact. As mentioned before, Amy’s ability to connect to her clients really shines on the big stage. If any small issues or problems popped up they were immediately handled with professionalism and grace. On top of that, Amy went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel special. The day itself went off without a hitch and was better than we had even hoped. ou don't think you need one, you're wrong, hire Amy! She is so organized, has a million great ideas and a solution to EVERY problem. In the last 2 months leading up to our wedding, I started to become a little nervous about all the little details coming together and began to second guess myself. Amy was there to answer ever question and concern my now HUSBAND and I had. She is so level-headed, has a calm demeanor when dealing with stressful situations (which is exactly the demeanor this Bride needed) and has this incredible ability to handle the unexpected with ease. She was ON IT with communicating with all of our vendors (there were several), reading through all the contracts and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Now, for our wedding day... We were supposed to have beautiful weather, but a storm rolled in and we ended up with clouds and rain. Thankfully, our venue was indoor/outdoor. We planned to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, with the reception to follow inside. Amy gave us several Plan B options leading up to the day because there was a chance it would rain on us during our ceremony... and it did! But that's good luck, right? We were adamant about having our ceremony on the lawn area, outdoors because that was our vision. Amy had the brilliant idea of bringing clear umbrellas - enough for our guests to huddle under and share and one for us, that didn't distract or take away from our ceremony and actually made for some really cute pictures. While the rain / gloomy weather weren't a part of our original plan, it didn't ruin or take away from our day at all like I thought it might. Being a Type A bride, I had to take a few minutes to step aside after the ceremony, during cocktail hour that we had to cram inside, but with Amy & my husband's help, I got over it and we truly had the BEST day. We couldn't have asked for a better Wedding Planner. We have gotten numerous compliments not only about our beautiful wedding and all the intricate details, but also about AMY. People were in awe of how well she handled everything in the background while we were all eating, drinking, dancing and enjoying. To say that Amy not only made our day run so smoothly, but also saved it, is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the century. We would have been completely lost without her. Whenever we "got stuck" in the planning process she knew exactly how and when to nudge us along. If any idea wasn't working out, she always had a few alternatives up her sleeve to share. She is fantastic at dealing with lots of different personalities and, of course, heightened emotions as you get closer and closer to your big day. Day of, she was a godsend!! She and her team were in lockstep making sure every last detail was attended to. We made a couple last minute pivots based on how the day/evening was progressing and she was just so "go with the flow" about all of it, it really helped us relax and truly enjoy the day! up to the wedding and the day of. Luckily, Amy made sure we were able to enjoy ourselves and took the stress out of the few weeks of planning. If anything came up the day of the wedding that me or my groomsmen needed help with, it was so nice to be able to go to Amy instead of bothering my wife with any questions. Amy had detailed day of schedules for my groomsmen so they always knew when and where they needed to be. She also kept them in line before the ceremony as they tend to get a little rowdy. In addition to a day of schedule, she texted me the morning of with a nice reminder of the things I needed to do. She really took away all stress for our wedding day and I highly recommend her for couples looking for a planner.

Amy without a doubt!!! Our wedding was at a friend's property that wasn't typically used as a wedding venue. Amy was prompt, professional and provided amazing tools and advice as we were selecting and booking our vendors. When she took over communication with our vendors, I was SO impressed with her professional and efficient ways of handling communication with them. She is also extremely detail-oriented and caught things in contracts I would have missed (like providing a 4ft table for the photo booth vendor). She and her team were life savers the day of our wedding!! Amy allowed us to be able to be present and enjoy every detail of our wedding, she also made sure we were enjoying ourselves at all times. She checked-in with us while we were getting ready, made sure we didn't miss out on appetizers, and gave me and my husband private moments to take in our special day. She knew dancing was important to us and kept us on schedule so that time was not cut short. My elderly father was present at the wedding and I was concerned about his health - Amy and her team were constantly checking in with him and getting him whenever he needed. I also recommended Amy to my best friend so I was able to see her in action at that wedding as well. We are so so glad we hired Amy and would recommend her for any bride and groom in need of a planner.

Amy was indispensable throughout the entire process, rolling with the updated restrictions and keeping us in contact with our vendors and venue, including with all the shifting guidelines for being able to gather in person. another coordinator I was working with due to lack of communication. Needless to say, I was feeling defeated and super stressed. Luckily, I found Amy through another bride who had worked with her. Literally, the best decision I made for my wedding was choosing Amy as my coordinator. She swooped in and made my wedding a breeze. It rained right before my wedding (luckily cleared up for my ceremony), but Amy was so sweet and calming and that energy was contagious. I stressed a little at the reception, but Amy gave me a Mai Tai (haha) and made me feel like a special guest at my wedding.
