She will play silly games with you to get such genuine photos. Having a camera in your face while you’re smooching your honey can usually feel pretty awkward, but she goes out of her way to make sure there is never a dull moment. You will thank yourself over and over again for hiring this wonderful woman!!

My now-husband and I hadn’t been professionally photographed in years (and we are both a little awkward in front of a camera), but you would never know from our engagement and wedding photos. Amy makes the entire photo-taking process easy and FUN! She will definitely keep you laughing. She is also incredibly easy going and will make your life so easy on your big day. Bonus: she is also great with family members, taking all of that stress off of the bride and groom. In addition to her talent, Amy is just an all around great person. She’s fun, has a great sense of humor, and she treats her couples like people as opposed to clients. She considers it important to get to know the couples she works with, and at the end of the process, you will feel like you have a friend in her. Photos were my #1 wedding priority, and Amy was my #1 choice. I love my images more than I can say, and so have all of my family and friends. Truly, I have received SO many compliments on our photos! She was bold and fun and I knew I would get along just fine with her. I didn't meet Amy or her second shooter until the day of my wedding, by no fault of her own. I lived 200+ miles away and it never worked out BUT that speaks volumes to her as a professional photographer. I trusted her 110% and I knew my pictures would be incredible and they are. I didn't want cheesy, pose-y, typical wedding pictures and Amy met my every expectation. She was prompt, fun, relaxed and made my day incredible. My wedding party adored her as much as I did because she kept us all laughing. She made it fun and it is obvious in our pictures that everyone seemed at ease and genuinely happy. She responded to my every annoying question and went the extra mile in many ways to make me a happy bride. Then one day, I came across Amy’s site and was completely blown away. Her work is nothing short of stunning. From the very first phone call to the moment we stepped in our exit car leaving the reception, she was a dream. She had me laughing and completely at-ease from the very first time I spoke with her. We wanted to do something out-of-the-box for our engagement session and, not only was she completely agreeable, she came up with creative ideas to make it even better than we could have imagined. We threw color powder at each other in the middle of Deep Ellum and she could not have been more accommodating to our crazy idea. I was a little nervous before our engagement photos but the whole session was an afternoon of fun and laughter. Amy kept in contact with us the days leading up to the wedding, coming up with a timeline and asking us for any special requests we had. She remembered every single one of the requests, including our entire wedding party’s names. That was nothing short of astounding. She responded quickly to any questions I had and, when we had to change venues unexpectedly, was very flexible and positive. On the big day, Amy and Nikki, were simply incredible. They both had everyone laughing and completely comfortable. They kept the perfect balance of the traditional wedding photos you have to get with unique poses and candid moments. Our preview photos came like a week after the wedding – she was lightning fast but the quality blew me away. I couldn’t believe that was even our wedding. She captured every single moment beautifully. All the love and all the laughter. The passion she has comes through every photo. It was evident that she was not just there to take pictures - she brings excitement, creativity, and playfulness to everything she does. Her wonderful attitude is completely contagious - she will pull the beauty and creativity forward in any situation. My new husband and I are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with her. After hours looking over the portfolios of DFW-based photographers, I started calling my list of finalists and Amy was at the top of my list because her outdoor wedding shots are second to none! My meeting with Amy was my first and last photographer meeting – she was exactly what I had in mind and we booked her immediately. Her vision matched mine in how I wanted the day to be captured, and on top of being very detail oriented, her personality was very relaxed with a great sense of humor. In the upcoming months, though I changed from an outdoor wedding to an indoor venue (Dallas Scottish Right Museum and Library), Amy was incredibly accommodating and rolled with it. As a part of my package, we shot bridals at the new venue and the photos were simply breathtaking. She can walk into any room and know in .05 seconds what wall or feature is going to make a good photo – it’s astounding how good she is at this. The bridals were amazing, even though I had completely switched venues and wedding themes – which truly speaks to Amy’s talent. The photo shoot was full of laughter and by then end of it, not only did I feel like I got way more than I paid for in terms of great images, I felt like she was truly a friend in addition to being the artist behind the lens. Fast forward to the wedding week. Amy had everything wrapped up and communication with her was great – I felt like this was one area of the day that I didn’t have to worry about at all. Being the perfect mix of good humored and down to business that she is – she and her team meshed really well with everyone from bridesmaids, to groomsmen, to our families. I’ll never forget her walking into the room while the bridesmaids were getting ready – if the day didn’t already feel surreal enough, knowing that she was here to capture the day really made it feel like it was SHOWTIME! Throughout the day, she had great recommendations on shots and helped me navigate some interesting situations that I wasn’t exactly anticipating (like getting the videographers out of the room while I got into the skirt of my dress – THANK YOU!). She scouted out some great locations for family photos so we didn’t have to do the typical “family photos in front of the church alter” routine and instead got to take them outdoors (again, THANK YOU). Every moment that Amy captured was photographed to the highest possible level and there are so many shots she took that are beyond what I expected. Amy, we can’t thank you enough for being a part of our wedding – you truly captured the day in the most beautiful way possible. If it was possible to have another wedding just to see what the photographs would look like, we’d do it in a heartbeat!

Amy was super fun to work with and I was able to trust her completely--made life so much easier! She was fast with picture edits, and was able to work with me when I needed a print quickly! But most importantly: her pictures were incredible. I spent a long time pouring over reviews for wedding photographers and looking at my friend's wedding pictures...and they were all nice--beautiful, in fact. HOWEVER, I wasn't looking for someone to simply snap photos of my wedding day...I was looking for someone who could tell the story of my wedding through pictures, and that's exactly what Amy does. Her ability to capture authentic moments, paired with her mind-blowing creativity, truly creates amazing pictures. I was absolutely thrilled when I got my wedding pictures back! I'm tempted to find another husband just so I can have her shoot my wedding again!! (jk...kind of. haha!) If you just want pictures of your wedding, Amy is not the photographer for you...if you want the story of your wedding day, documented in the most beautiful way imaginable, Amy is your girl.
