We really wanted to keep everything relaxed and candid, and she helped create a stress-free day while capturing all of the best moments. There are too many beautiful photos to choose from! Amy is a true artist and professional who uses her experiences to improve her services every time. Thank you for being such a great listener, taking the extra time to reach out and coordinate with the venue and officiant, and for being so easy to work with!

Amy took our wedding photos at the Tower of Americas. She was very professional, courteous, and worked wonderfully with my family. The photos came out beautifully, and they truly captured the fun and love of the night. I highly recommend her. You won’t regret it! Beautiful work.

Simply put, Amy was amazing! As an amateur photographer, she was very patient with my technical questions, and she really knew how to work the crowd to get the best possible photos. She really brings a refreshing look to her photos, not your average wedding photos, where she is able to find just the right context to frame each photo she took. If I ever have a photo need for an event, she will be my first call.

Amy was so wonderful to work with. She took family photos for us in April and then also captured our 20th anniversary in September. We live in Houston but our photos were in San Antonio. We deferred to Amy's great knowledge of San Antonio for recommendations on where to shoot. The place selected was amazing and I love, love, love seeing our family photo hanging on the wall :)

Amy originally did our engagement photos which were SO awesome!!! She made my vision come to life!!! Then she did our wedding photos and let me tell you...first of all...the colors in every photo came out SO vivid/vibrant BEAUTIFUL!!! Also...I thought I would have one main favorite shot of us but I ended up having SEVERAL favorite shots of us and to this day I STILL catch myself looking through all of our pictures AT LEAST once a week!!! I can't help it!!!

Amy was wonderful to work with. Very detailed oriented but also creative. The images she captured we will treasure forever. Lovely details, colors and expressions - exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!

From the first day I emailed Amy wanting to know more information until months after the wedding, she has been great! She is continuously keeping you up to date and quick to respond to emails. I am very indecisive (aren't we all as brides) and her patience and guidance really was a blessing. She really captured all the special moments beautifully on our wedding day!! I can not say enough good things about our experience with Amy. I live in Georgia and we were having a destination wedding in Texas which is where my now husband and I had our first vacation together. We have no family there so everyone had to travel for the wedding. I chose Amy from other bride's reviews and I could not have gotten luckier. She was amazing. It was a very stressful couple of days for us trying to get everything and everyone organized and she completely relieved all of that on our wedding day and made it fun. She fit right in with all my family and we felt like we had known her our entire lives. If that didn't make our day fantastic enough, when we received our disk of the wedding pictures we were in awe. It looked like we stepped out of a movie. She had an amazing combination of the "wedding" dramatic and beautiful picture poses but she also somehow captured pictures of us being ourselves, laughing and having fun, which are unquestionably my favorites and were the ones that made me cry. Again, I can't go on enough what a amazing, talented, and beautiful person Amy is - you would be lucky to have her as your photographer!!

Amy was a joy to work with. She was so helpful in finding a venue and specifications in the package we wanted. She was friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout our entire session and she seems to truly enjoy what she does. She has been so great about updating us on sneak peeks, her blog, and the editing of our photos, as well as when they were mailed out. Amy is great! She has been such a huge help from the very beginning. She has definitely gone above and beyond to make sure I have the best experience possible. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing and the compliments are non-stop. She was able to meet the needs of what I wanted for my wedding and is very fairly priced. I recommend Amy for any occasion.

I'm not quite sure, but I believe my wedding was Amy's first, or at least one of her first. The whole experience from discussing ideas to the actual "big day" was amazing. I picked Amy specifically because of her style. Most wedding photographer portfolios I looked at had beautiful pictures, but the style was sort of a faded, antique look. I loved the color and "life" in Amy's portfolio and that's a big reason I asked her to photograph my own wedding. That and because my (then) fiancé and I are a little quirky and I could tell she could keep up with us. :) Despite have some nasty wind on the wedding day, Amy capture some great photos and I cherish them still. I would definitely recommend Amy to anyone! (By the way, we're the couple with machetes in the pictures) hah!

Amy was a wonderful photographer from the day we booked her until the day we got our pictures. She was courteous, helpful and very professional. And the pictures from our wedding and engagement sessions are awesome!

Our engagement photos turned out beautiful. We even snapped a few with my little dog! I have had so many compliments on the pictures and can't wait for the wedding day!

As my wedding date was approaching I was so frazzled with all the planning but I knew that one of the most important attributes to our wedding would be a photographer. I would not settle, I had to have the best. The wedding lasted hours but I wanted our photographs of those few hours to be truly captured. Amy did just that. She captured our special moments beautifully, she is really good at what she does. We never even felt like we were posing or having our picture taken, everything was very natural. Oh and she's pretty funny too! :-)I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family.

Amy is a wonderful photographer and an absolutely amazing person to be around. My fiance and I asked her to take some anniversary photos before our wedding and they were fantastic. Unfortunately are not able to use Amy for our actual wedding because it will be out of town, but she does beautiful work and I highly recommend her.

We hired Amy to photograph our engagement, my boudoir, and wedding photos and we could not have been happier! Unlike her competitors, Amy cared about us and our whole wedding experience and was not just making a sales pitch. Amy is so creative, passionate, and genuine. She not only captured the classic, traditional photos we needed but also those unique, creative photos we wanted that are magazine worthy! And her candid pictures of us, the wedding party, and everyone at the reception are priceless. We still receive compliments on our wedding photos to this day. Simply put, she was there for us. I called her my unofficial Maid of Honor. During the entire process from planning to months after our wedding day, Amy was always available to answer and help out any way she could. Her wedding day timeline proved instrumental when it came to dealing with our church organizer, reception coordinator, and DJ. Our "special day" was so in part because of her. My husband and I feel like we've gained a friend in Amy and will be using her services for years to come!

My Fiancé and I recently did our engagement photo shoot with Amy Melito and we could not be more pleased! Amy pays attention to details during the photo shoot, and is extremely knowledgable about light, poses, and angles. Our photo shoot was down at the beautiful Pearl Brewery in downtown San Antonio. Amy had an excellent wide variety of areas and photo opportunities for us to get the best photos! During the shoot, Amy made us feel very comfortable and confident to bring out the best of our personalities. We got our engagement photos back within 3 weeks and we're just amazing at how perfect they came out! Our family said we looked like magazine models! I can't wait to work with Amy again in the future , she just rocks!!!! Very professional, on top of paper work/contracts, meeting times, available on email, phone or text. Did I mention help with suggestions in photo outfit department! After working with her, I felt like we gained a new friend and felt as if we have known her forever! You will be so glad, when you become a bride and groom of Amy Melito Photography.

Amy did a great job. She made sure I got all the shots I wanted and even came up with some that I would not have thought about. Amy worked well with my ring bearer who was not wanting to stand still she had him smiling and having a good time. I love all my photos and would hire Amy again in a heart beat. I highly recommend Amy for any photography needs!!! She did our engagement photos and they turned out perfect! She was very flexible with our schedules and we didn't have to wait weeks for our shoot. The prints are very nice and they were ready within weeks. We were very satisfied and plan to use her again for our photography needs. She is also very efficient and follows up to make sure we have all our photography needs.
