Ice cream instead of cake was one of my first wedding planning decisions since we aren’t big cake people but love ice cream. After reaching out to a few places but not having a ton of luck because our guest count estimation was 215 at that point, Amy’s got back to us with a very reasonable quote. We had them bring the truck and they scooped ice cream for all our guests after dinner. Everyone loved it! And the ice cream as well as toppings were also delicious as expected from Amy’s. I grew up eating Amy’s at summer festivals around Austin, so it was also a nice nod to my childhood. It was so much fun to interact with our guests around the truck and hear all the combos people were trying. Plus our photographer got really cute shots of me and my husband enjoying the ice cream.

Amy’s ice cream was wonderful, from beginning to end! We didn’t do a cake and when our wedding day clocked in at 95 degrees, we were very happy to have ice cream! Our guests loved it and the price was great!

We had the Amy's Ice Cream trailer during the cocktail hour of our wedding and it was hands down the biggest crowd pleaser of our entire wedding. Our guests were absolutely blown away that we had the best ice cream ever there and we may be biased, but after the ceremony and endless photos after the ceremony ended, ice cream was the perfect celebratory snack. We truly have loved Amy's for years and it was unbelievably special having them there as a part of the celebration. They even kindly worked with us after double booking our wedding day by offering up the trailer instead of the truck--which is essentially exactly the same as the truck--nobody could tell any difference!

We hired Amy's Ice Cream to come scoop ice cream for our guests to go along with wedding cake. It was a HUGE hit. They come with a table and an Am'y sign/table covering and everyone gets ice cream into the medium orange Amy's cups. I can't wait to see photo's of people chowing down. The guy scooping was friendly and easy going, all in all this was one of my favorite parts of our wedding- seeing a line of our guests waiting to get this Austin classic dessert.

Who doesnt love some Amy's Ice Cream?! We decided to do this instead of a cake at our wedding and it was perfect! The guests loved it. Amy's was very prompt and brings all of their own supplies. They were also easy to communicate with throughout the planning process. I would definitely recommend them for any event!

Amy's was a great local favourite and supplement to not having a cake. They were easy to order- expect no frills. They are not great at getting back to you and we did have some issues with communication. The sizes were pretty decent and everyone loved it! Lance made sure the groom got his ice cream!

Ordered ice cream as our dessert. They were able to accommodate my many dietary restrictions and then also deliver to the venue. They were great to work with and of course the best ice cream EVER!

When we made a list of what we wanted our guests to experience of Austin during our wedding weekend, Amy's Ice Cream was top of our list. They set up an ice cream bar at our welcome dinner and our guests loved it!
