We hired Eileen and An Affair to Remember for full wedding planning at Weylin in Brooklyn: about 120 guests, an interfaith ceremony, and a Chinese tea ceremony afterward. It was on...
e of the best decisions we made.
Eileen is organized, deeply experienced, honest, and calm, and she was all four from our first meeting through the end of the night. She walked us through a long list of vendor decisions and logistical details, kept things moving when we stalled, and always gave us a straight answer. We are detail-oriented and stayed closely involved the whole way through, and she made room for that. She took what we wanted and turned it into something that could actually be executed.
Things kept moving right up to the last minute. A groomsman and his wife dropped out when their baby arrived early, another guest went down with the flu the day before, and each time Eileen reworked the processional and seating without it becoming our problem. The biggest change came the night before the wedding. On our way to the rehearsal dinner, Eileen let us know we needed to change which spaces we were using for what. We told her we were fine consolidating upstairs as long as the flow of the evening held together in fewer rooms, and she took it from there. We never had to figure out how, and on the night nobody could have guessed it was ever meant to run differently.
On the day itself, she and her assistant took over so completely that we stopped thinking about logistics and simply enjoyed our wedding. Her assistant was hands-on all day, down to placing the personalized name ribbons we had made at every one of about 120 place settings. Eileen also took the end of the night off our hands. We gave her the gratuity envelopes that morning; she delivered them to every vendor and packed our things up, so all we had to do was thank people as they finished and enjoy the rest of our evening.
For the amount of work and attention she gave us, the value was exceptional. We are enormously grateful to her.
Eileen was our day-of-coordinator for our wedding in June at TPC Jasna Polana. Leading up to our day, Eileen was great to work with. We met with her multiple times over Zoom and sh...
e joined us for most of our final vendor calls. She provided valuable suggestions and advice throughout the last few months of planning. I planned a large portion of the wedding myself, however she brought all those details together with seamless coordination with our vendors. I would have been so lost without her! On our wedding day, Eileen was calm and in control, and kept everyone on schedule. Her assistant, Giovanna, was also amazing - she spent a large portion of the day by my side, helping me reapply lip gloss throughout photos and providing water whenever I needed, which was a lot since it was a 90+ degree day! I had many design details I had planned myself and Eileen and Giovanna executed them perfectly. During our reception, I had a personal situation come up and Eileen handled it with such grace and compassion. She sat with me and my husband, comforted us, and worked with our vendors to quickly rearrange our schedule and keep the party going. I can't even imagine how the day would have gone without her.

oasts, dances, etc…working with band, photographer, and venue. She also made my daughter feel calm and supported during a difficult time. She was also very involved in the upfront planning, and a valued sounding board for her and her fiancé in decision-making even though she was a day-of-coordinator. It was a beautiful day - but can’t imagine how it would have turned out without her!
Eileen was hands down the best money we spent on our entire wedding! She is warm, professional, and able to handle any situation thrown her way. We hired her as a “day of coordinat...
or” but she was engaged way before the wedding day, meeting with us several months before to start building a timeline and to reach out to our vendors. Her timelines are impressively detailed and thorough, and she was able to make suggestions to ensure that we could include everything important to us. In the last 6 weeks before the wedding, she joined vendor calls and came in person to our walk through with the venue where she helped guide decisions on décor and menu. Leading up to the day, she handled most administrative tasks, coordinated timing/needs with our vendors, and ran our rehearsal. On the day of her wedding, Eileen and her assistant, Kris, ensured that everything ran smoothly and that my husband and I no longer had to “do the thinking.” We would highly recommend her services!
My husband and I were referred to Eileen (An Affair to Remember) through our catering team who promised us that we'd be in great hands with her. After having spoken with several ot...
her planning teams that had rigid packages or weren't able to disclose costs in a transparent way, we met with Eileen. We immediately felt comforted! Starting from our first call, she was organized, clearly a seasoned professional, and was kind enough to work with us to come up with a planning package that fit our needs (we had already booked several main vendors, but still had some planning to do and needed day-of coordination). Her pricing was very fair. She was everything you want in a planner/coordinator - quick to reply over email, quick to hop on the phone to coordinate with other vendors and resolve issues, kind and gentle with us when felt anxious or when we were behind with tasks. We were planning a wedding in NYC and we live in California, and she was willing to meet at later hours (so generous) to adjust for the time change. On the day of the wedding, we felt so at-ease. Her team did an outstanding job. She kept calm with anxious family members, somehow lugged around a large tote bag of my personal items from hotel to church to reception, helped us navigate wedding transport in mid-town manhattan (!!! not to mention with our church ceremony running longer than expected), and magically appeared everywhere right when we needed her, including a quick dress change (and neatly packaged my personal things as I ran out to do my first dance). I'm forever grateful to Eileen for helping pull together the best day of our lives. If you're feeling overwhelmed by your wedding day and want to regain some joy during the planning process, don't hesitate to book an Affair to Remember!
We hired Eileen and the team at An Affair to Remember to be our “day of coordinator”. It was truly a wonderful experience and much more than “day of”. Immediately upon hiring Eile...
en, we set up a meeting to get introduced and on the same page even though we were months away from our actual wedding date. Eileen provided a bunch of materials to help us get organized and lists of items that were instrumental in making sure we actually had time to think of all of the small things.
Working with Eileen was truly a God send! She is unbelievably responsive to any questions you have. She is also very experienced so there is nothing she hasn’t done or seen before, which provided us with a significant guidance and direction.
Eileen coordinated across all of our vendors and the venue to make sure everything was taken care of. All administrative items were handled by her. It made the process leading up to the wedding a stress free as possible.
She was also critical in helping us think through the wedding timeline and ensuring we hit on all the key items we wanted to accomplish on our wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant were on top of everything. Our wedding went off without a hitch because of her – but she was also prepared and ready in case things needed to be altered. She kept the day on track and made our wedding dreams come true.
On top of it all, she is a wonderful person. She is professional but easy to talk about. She gets the job done when needed but also makes sure you are comfortable.
If you are looking for someone to help plan your wedding day, look no further than Eileen and the team at An Affair to Remember.
We were so lucky to have Eileen as our wedding planner for almost 2 years leading up to our wedding. We got married in NJ, even though we live in California and it was so reassurin...
g to have Eileen lead us through that process. She did an excellent job checking in with us in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure we were on track with the tasks that needed to be completed, dividing it into bite sized pieces so we never felt overwhelmed. For wedding venue shopping, we had to fit it in 1 weekend since we weren’t visiting for very long and Eileen packed 7 venue visits over the course of 2 days and attended them with us all. She even grouped it together based on location so it’d be easier for us to drive from place to place which transformed a typically stressful experience into a smooth easy one. On the wedding day itself, we were in such incredibly capable hands, there seriously wasn’t a detail we had to worry about. We were able to truly enjoy the wedding and it surprisingly felt like it went by slowly because we weren’t stressed about anything. Thank you Eileen for helping to make everything run smoothly, we had the most perfect wedding we could’ve ever asked for, a huge part because of you :)

ing process. She assembled our welcome bags and delivered them to our hotel, which was one less worry for us. On the day of the wedding, she and her two assistants helped with limo shuttles, the ceremony procession, vendor tipping, and transported floral centerpieces at the end of the reception to our hotel for the farewell brunch the following morning. I highly recommend An Affair to Remember!

his past weekend, we could not have done it without her!! She managed all situations with grace, professionalism, and an amazing attitude. She helped our vision for our wedding come alive with her flawless execution, and detailed oriented working style. She was able manage all vendor working styles, and was even able to create to resolve a last minute bustling emergency. If you’re looking for an amazing DOC, look no further!!!

ing feedback. She was very flexible with her schedule and amazing at follow up. Her assistant that she brought for the day of the wedding renewal, Janet, was just as sweet and lovely to work with as her! I would absolutely in a heartbeat recommend Eileen with "An Affair to Remember" as all of my guests agree that our vow renewal was an affair to remember! We had the best time with her love and dedication! We love you Eileen and thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!!!

eping our program running efficiently (and ahead of schedule, might I add!), and patiently answering all my questions leading up to the wedding. If you are on the fence about having a day-of-coordinator... this is your sign to do it!! You will not regret working with An Affair to Remember, only good things can come of it. From the bottom of our blissfully happy hearts, thank you Eileen <3
Eileen exceeded all expectations as a day of wedding coordinator and made the planning process a breeze. From the initial consultation to the big day itself, Eileen was highly resp...
onsive, always available to answer questions, and provided valuable guidance and support throughout the planning process. She has a great eye for detail, the ability to anticipate and prevent issues before they happen, and a calm and professional demeanor. On the day of the wedding, her team was absolutely A+ and ensured that everything went smoothly and flawlessly. Other vendors involved in the wedding day noted that Eileen's day of schedule was the most comprehensive and detailed they have seen, which helped everything run smoothly and on time. In short, if you're looking for a professional, responsive, and efficient wedding coordinator, look no further than Eileen. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that my wedding day was everything I dreamed it would be.

e which I valued so much. I planned my entire wedding and knew I needed someone with experience to help guide us and make sure everything went smoothly. I forgot a couple of details that would’ve totally ruined the day and Eileen just swooped in and knew exactly what to ask so she could help our day be seamless. We had a hiccup at our ceremony where there was no public bathroom and Eileen literally went door knocking looking for anyone that will let us use their bathroom. If that doesn’t sell you on this woman’s dedication then I don’t know what to think of you. Eileen was so focused and made sure that we had little to NO STRESS on the day of. I don’t know how she did it, the woman is an Angel. I would hope that everyone sees this and decides to move forward with Eileen because you would not regret it. I can not thank her enough for her dedication and service.
Eileen was recommended to me by both of my (now) stepdaughters. On our wedding day, she showed up and took charge. We had planned an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour that was rai...
ned out. Eileen helped me navigate that and also an unfortunate situation with my dress 45 minutes before the ceremony. Without her, I would have been a mess. Eileen was professional and thorough and came prepared with supplies for seemingly any need. She was my J.Lo super-wedding planner, ready to meet any challenge. Highly recommended!
I am so happy we hired Eileen!! I'm a planner and detail-oriented. I knew from the day I started planning that I didn't want to have to worry on my wedding day to make sure everyth...
ing I planned was executed. Enter Eileen. Her wedding coordinating services were in my budget and WORTH EVERY PENNY! Leading up to the wedding, she was great to bounce ideas off of. We met about a month or two out to get on the same page for the wedding timeline and then as we got close, she handled all confirmations with my vendors to ensure that the timeline went smoothly. She attended the rehearsal and was a big assistance to get everyone in order! The day-of is where you see the true value. Rather, than me having to make sure everyone was on time and everything was set up, she handled that. She was also there to pin my hair when it fell, hand out all of my vendors' tips, meet the flower delivery people, keep things moving on schedule, get me a drink when I needed it, check me into the hotel, etc. All that said, the biggest thing she provides is that you don't have to be the one that worries about the details!!! I felt a HUGE weight off my shoulders knowing that she had everything taken care of and that is so, so important because I was truly able to just enjoy the day from start to finish.
I see a lot of mixed reviews--I actually liked working with Eileen. She knew all of our vendors and was helpful in answering a lot of my questions beforehand. We ended up forty-fiv...
e minutes behind schedule during the actual wedding, which was tough and I'm not sure how it happened, but we got through it mostly intact. A few people in my wedding party took umbrage to the inevitable rush (things got a little intense as the clock ticked down to ceremony), but I chalk that up to a clash of personalities and the fact that I had moved from a 6 pm ceremony to an 11:30 am ceremony with a start time of 6 am due to Covid. Everyone was a little strained from that alone.
We were actually short two boutonnieres due to last second changes to the wedding party and Eileen covered me and created two whole boutonnieres out of pins and flowers that were lying around the bridal suite, which is not something I'm going to complain about. She kept us all moving and kept the wedding on track, and despite everything, the ceremony and reception turned out beautiful and fine. I did feel a little frazzled but it could have gone a lot worse and I'm grateful Eileen was there to help.
Eileen was our "day of" planner, but really she did so much more. She is INCREDIBLE and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She ensured that every single detail from st...
art to finish was buttoned up and made our big day so relaxing and easy. Eileen, THANK YOU!
Let me just start out by saying, Eileen is AMAZING!!!!!! I cannot even imagine what my wedding day would have been like if I didn't have her on hand.
Eileen is such a pleasure to ...
work with. She is positive and upbeat and her passion for the job was clearly reflected when speaking with her. From the very beginning, I and my husband had no idea about our wedding, Eileen was very helpful—I valued every communication, facetime, chat and email we had before the wedding; I valued all the patient answers, sincere suggestion and kind reminder she gave us as our wedding planner.
The week of the wedding, she contacted all of my vendors and pulled together a timeline. I was extremely stressed out that week, Eileen took over and coordinated all the last minute details for me- the photographer, videographer, the DJ, etc.
The day of the wedding Eileen came to the venue very early. Once I arrived at the venue to get dressed, she did not leave my side until the ceremony started - she held the back of my gown up while I was taking pictures. Eileen made sure the ceremony ran smoothly. She ensured that the bridesmaids had their flowers, the groomsmen had their boutineers, the best man had the rings, and that everyone was lined up in the correct order and knew where to go. During the reception she kept asking me if I needed anything. We were actually able to relax on the day of the wedding because of her, which is priceless!
She was so wonderful and helpful, I couldn't of imagined a better wedding planner.I highly, HIGHLY recommend Eileen, she is the best planner out there.
Eileen was amazing. She helped us set up our wedding timeline and stay on task. But where she was truly invaluable was on our wedding day. I could not imagine the day without her...
and even my family members commented on how great she was. I could go into detail about every little thing she helped with but it would take up an entire page. I would highly recommend Eileen to any one of my friends or family without a doubt. Thank you for everything, Eileen!
