We loved how large the quartet’s repertoire is - for our pre-ceremony music, we were able to include a plethora of our favorite songs from classical pieces to hymns to movie soundtracks - all from their existing repertoire! We also had Sherry work with our Maid of Honor to arrange a custom string accompaniment to “When I Say I Do” by Matthew West, which my MOH sang during the ceremony. It turned out beautifully and will be one of my most treasured memories from that special day. Thank you, Sherry!

They were incredibly helpful and flexible in working with friends of ours who were singing during the ceremony, finding time to practice before our guests arrived to ensure they sounded like they'd been playing and singing together for years by the time the ceremony started! oor ceremony in April. We had the String Duo (cello and violin) for an hour before and during the ceremony, which was perfect. And very affordable! I submitted my song choices to Sherry a couple weeks before the wedding (they have lots of demos you can listen to on their website), and they played everything that I asked for no problem. The strings sounded beautiful and could be heard very clearly outdoors (without amplification). Would definitely recommend!

ur. The ceremony was a tear jerker with the string quartet playing some of our favorite songs. As The doors opened and I walked down the aisle, guests gasped as the song added that drama and romance we wanted them to feel. The cocktail hour was fun and played more contemporary songs. Sherry and her group were beyond wonderful! Even if songs were not in their usual repertoire, they were very accommodating in learning the songs. There was never any hesitation on answering questions or provide you information you may need. Thank you Sherry and An Elegant Touch of Strings! Job well done!

ince we didn't have the umbrella set up on time for them (our fault entirely), they started a little late, but pleasantly surprised us by playing the allotted 2 hours that we signed the contract for - during the cocktail hour too. they went above and beyond, moving their entire set up from the ceremony site to the indoor reception room. what a bonus. having an elegant touch of strings at our wedding added the perfect touch.
