Our guests raved about how wonderful it was. In addition to providing an upbeat atmosphere and timeliness to our evening we also rented one of the photo booths with video option. Our guests absolutely loved this enhanced feature. Our photo album from the night looks fabulous thanks to the help of Enchanted Evenings attendant on site to ensure everyone had the right props for their photos. He did great with reading the energy of our crowd and everyone was out on the dance floor! We had an 8 year old and several 80 year olds at our wedding truly every single person got out there. We had a flip cup introduction game and he did great with announcing the "play-by-play" and hyping up the crowd during our bridal party introductions. They sat down with us before we signed a contract to walk us through the entire process, show us their sound system, their packages etc, they did not pressure us and made us very comfortable. You put a lot of trust into a company and we felt extremely confident going through with them. The week before we spoke to our DJ, who was amazing and accommodated all of our special requests. Day of the wedding, Anton was truly amazing as emcee of the night as well as the DJ, he accommodated all of our requests but also went with the feel of the crowd and truly provided an amazing experience. We danced all night and felt like we were at a concert, everyone had a phenomenal time. We also went with a photobooth through the same company and that was a hit as well. m about a week before our wedding (after filling out the planning sheet provided by An Enchanted Evening), and Nate executed our vision flawlessly. I even think he understood our vision more than we did, haha! We did not have a day-of-coordinator, but Nate kept our timeline on track and was extremely flexible when we changed some major things at the actual wedding (Sparkler exit, late night snack, anniversary dance to name a few). He reminded us when our next event was taking place and then got everyone on the dance floor to participate. Our music requests were a bit difficult because we had a diverse crowd interested in oldies, salsa, rap, and everything in-between. Nate felt out the dance floor perfectly and knew exactly what songs to play to keep our guests dancing. When I say the dance floor was packed for 4 hours straight...I mean it! Our guests were not ready to leave when the last song played at midnight. I have already had multiple people ask for Nate's contact info. Not only did Dana have the challenge of my very specific request be spot on, he also had to somehow turn Disney to rap/hip hop with out a shell shock to the guest!
I can not thank Dana enough for the amazing music he did for us through enchanted evening. Not only did he listen to my every request and make it happen, he also worked well with my minister and my venue. As a surprise he knew I wanted be our guest to play while dinner service started, he worked with the wait staff to get them to do a dance for us while that played.
He really went out of his way to make things special, and if you look at my wedding date, you will notice it’s the dreaded 2020 year, so add that challenge of the shortened 40 people who were allowed to come with mask on, getting them into the music and dancing. Dana made it happen!
Again, music was my big thing, I needed the music to help tell our story during our pandemic wedding and that it did!

The even had an option to record a video after the pictures and then sent us a USB of the pictures and videos which is a great keepsake along with the scrapebook. This ensured we had the ideal playlist for our big day. Not only did we use them to DJ our reception, but we also had them provide the music for our ceremony. They have a huge playlist of all types of music you can possibly want. In our case, we also had a unique song we wanted to play during our reception, and they made it so easy to ensure we were had our very special song for our ceremony.

Mike was able to read the room, cut music that was not making sense for the floor, and even took my plea to shorten some dances into account. Seriously. We were ensured that if we didn't feel comfortable with who were assigned we could change. We would up having to reach out to them with 5 days to go to arrange a quick chat. By this point it was too late to make a change and we definitely did not have a great feeling at that point.
The big day came and he did not perform close to our expectations. He did not do a good job of announcing that cake was being served, or that our first dance was about to begin, or that dancing was beginning. He didn't do much to get anyone out on the dance floor and overall seemed to lack any enthusiasm for the job at hand.
There are definitely things that they did well, such as their wedding website which helps you plan songs and the dances, and their music selection is top notch. Had we been assigned a different DJ we feel the night would have been very different.

he reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because our DJ was late the day of the wedding. He was so late that he was still testing sound as guests were starting to arrive. It took away from our first look and photos and caused uneccessary stress of us frantically calling him to see where he was. We rely on our vendors to show up in a timely manner and that didn’t happen with our DJ.

We have systems in place to validate the time the DJ picks up the gear. We have a backup DJ at the office the day of each wedding, who logs the time the DJ arrives, as a well as a security system that requires each DJ to sign in/out when they arrive/leave our studio with their own personal code, which time stamps their arrival and departure. We also require our DJ's to contact the backup DJ when they arrive at the venue (to ensure they arrived safely) as well as contact the backup DJ when they're all set up and ready to go for the evening. Our arrival time to the venue for a typical wedding setup, such as this one was, is 60-90 minutes before our start time. In this particular case, the DJ left our studio at 3:28pm, arrived at the wedding at 3:54pm and was fully set up and operational by 4:38pm. The start time of this particular wedding was scheduled for 5:30, so the DJ DID arrive to the venue over 90 minutes before the wedding start time, which is an industry standard for most DJ's.
While we understand in this situation, the couple was getting married at the venue, so they were most likely at the venue hours before the start time of the wedding getting ready there, and taking pictures, etc so it may of seemed to them like the DJ was running late, but in reality it is not the case. But to make a statement saying "the DJ was late" is not a fair or accurate statement since he was set up and ready well before the start time of the wedding.
We were also surprised by this review since they sent us a follow up email after the wedding thanking us for everything (and I quote from their email to us) "We really had a wonderful experience working with an enchanted evening for our 4/21 wedding. You guys were great. Everyone loved the DJ and the photobooth".
