We had Mike Menefee as our DJ and he was great. He worked our ceremony through our reception and was very helpful in emceeing and giving direction to the guests where to go and when events were starting. He also helped to line up the wedding party for our grand entrance. He kept the dance floor lively and fun the whole evening. We also got our name in lights and a backdrop behind our head table from An Enchanted Evening, which were nice touches. The photo booth was one of my favorite parts of the night. Our guests loved it and it was so fun to see the scrapbook of photos afterwards with people's handwritten messages. Honestly one of my favorite keepsakes afterwards.

Calvin reached out to us, and we met in person to go over every little detail for the wedding day. It was a lengthy meeting, which was awesome, because he was asking us great questions and made sure we all had all of our ducks in a row. He kept in constant communication with us and our other vendors, and he made sure to check in with us throughout our wedding day. Calvin followed every little note we gave him prior to the day to a T. The dance floor was full all night long, and we received many compliments! A few months prior to the wedding, we decided that we wanted to add uplighting and they made it very easy to do so via email which was helpful as we were out of the state on vacation and couldn’t do a Zoom call. Their planning portal is super detailed and easy to navigate.
POST-WEDDING THOUGHTS: The DJ did a great job with the uplighting and was amazing during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests weren’t big dancers but he tried his absolute best to get as many people as possible out on the dance floor. They checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was going the way we wanted it to. They played the songs that we requested and did a great job of reading the audience and playing music that people danced to all night. At the end of the night there we still people dancing and the DJ announced that he was going to play the last song. One of our guests requested another song and without hesitation the DJ played that song and another before he finished. We highly recommend An Enchanted Evening for your wedding or any other DJ needs.

Because we booked multiple services with An Enchanted Evening, they also including uplighting for the fabric back drop. It really brightened up the stage area behind the head table. We also really liked that you book the DJ services for the day, it's not an hourly package like other companies. We weren't entirely sure when our reception would end (we had our venue until 1am) and wanted to see how things went the day of to determine the ending time of our reception.
Mike was our DJ for the big day and did a great job reacting to the crowd to keep the dance floor full. We were impressed by their statement that they are emcees for the evening, not just playing music. This absolutely is the case to help things keep flowing and transitioning. Mike did a fabulous job helping things move from ceremony to cocktail hour and throughout the reception. I would definitely recommend their services!
