We had Heather as our wedding planner. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding she was helpful with giving suggestions and getting back to emails with recommendations and touching base. The day of the wedding we were slightly disappointed. During the rehearsal I had to ask for the itineraries for the wedding party and I didn't get a sense of being in charge from her. During the wedding I was told by multiple people who were supposed to be getting food ready that it was a fiasco with not enough direction, instead of sending her assistants into town for more ice Heather actually left and no one could find her for a while, we bought a lot of champagne for the toasts for our guest and no one got any, including us. Multiple guests heard people come up to her and tell her what an amazing wedding it was and she took all credit when the groom and I along with our families did literally everything ourselves custom. The week leading up to the wedding, Heather sent us itineraries in which spelled the grooms name wrong and multiple other mistakes that had previously been corrected by me. Her assistants were not friendly and weren't aware of certain items to be set out which I first hand encountered and had to correct myself. All in all, Heather was great for suggestions since we were planning a long distance wedding, but I won't be recommending her, especially for how much she cost.

My fiance (now husband) and I Iive in Oakland, California, but decided to get married at a private residence up in Ashland because we love it there. Planning a long distance wedding (while I was also starting a new job) would have been impossible without Heather's help. She introduced us to all our vendors and lined people up for our date before we even knew we would need them. For example, when I was doing a makeup "run through" about 8 months before the wedding (we had to plan some appointments far in advance because we were rarely in town), my makeup artist told me she'd already had three requests for her services on my wedding date that she had to reject since Heather had asked her to reserve the date for us. Heather was incredibly accessible, and there were times (as the wedding date neared) that we would send emails to her after 10PM and hear back from her within 20 minutes! She was incredibly organized, and my wedding day was completely stress-free because I knew she was running a tight ship. She also had a beautiful vision for our day, and I was blown away when I saw it come to life. I didn't have a clear vision of how I wanted my wedding. Heather was able to figure out my style just by asking me questions (many of which were met with vague responses). My wedding was absolutely magical thanks to her. I had friends asking "How did this happen?!" because they were so in awe of how all the details came together so beautifully. They knew I wouldn't have been capable of it on my own. Heather was worth every penny she charges, and I can't say enough good things about her!
