We needed someone to keep the event moving and Eric, the DJ, did a great job. He was very accommodating for the different ages at our event....lots of kid requests.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about An Ultimate Sound. In the weeks leading up to the reception Eric was always available via email - he even spent over an hour on the phone with me going over each and every detail of the reception and our music selections. At the reception, he kept the party going and the dance floor was still full at the end of the evening! It was an amazing party and we couldn't be more thankful to Eric and An Ultimate Sound for an incredible experience.

This DJ was well prepared and played the songs we requested. My husband and I were pleased with their services. I would highly recommend them.

Eric Miller was our DJ for the wedding and he did a FANTASTIC job. I told him I wanted a great party and everyone on the dance floor. My dance floor was packed the whole night! Even my 90 year old grandparents were on the dance floor! Eric was so much fun and made sure he played just the right music, he even took some requests! Eric was the DJ for our wedding on October 4th in downtown Detroit. He did a fabulous job. He had all the right music at all the right times. The dance floor was going from our first dance song (which was not a typical one but he found it and played it) to the last song. Great night!!! We had the pleasure of having Eric at both of our daughters weddings a few years ago - he was GREAT then and as good/better for our vow renewal. Eric was easy to work with, accomodated any special requests; and I must say, Eric worked 'long distance' with me as I surprised my bride of over 40 years, with 'song snippets' from when we met and throughout the years...rock and roll roots to new current country...it was awesome...so was Eric and his side-kick Rick. I found the Ultimate Sound while I was at a bridal show. There were at least 15 other DJ vendors, and after talking to Eric, I knew right away that I wanted him to DJ my wedding. He was the most experienced DJs there, and I could tell that he really knew what he was talking about. His website he uses for planning and organizing the wedding was amazing and incredibly helpful. During the wedding, he was awesome and everyone loved him. People done realize how important it is to have a DJ who knows how to get people up and dancing. Eric really understood the type of music My husband and I wanted. Hiring him to DJ my wedding was one of the best decisions I made!

I loved the online planning guide they have where you can request songs to play and not play (my favorite part) and organize everything else before your final meeting. Dave from An Ultimate Sound was our DJ for our wedding on June 28,2014 and I can't say enough good things about him and his service. His communication was spot on, he is friendly, cares and truly wants guests to have a great time. He did the music for our ceremony and right at 5:00 it started to rain! (outdoor wedding). He covered his speaker and continued to play music while the guests waited and even went an extra half hour so we could have the full reception time with our guests. He had us dancing all night!! We had Dave from An Ultimate Sound DJ our daughters wedding. It was such a great night. Dave knows what to play to every type of crowd. He has done prior events for us such as a Sweet Sixteen, Winter Dance and another wedding. Now our son is getting married and have locked Dave in for the event.

Eric was great! He had a huge planning form for me to fill out with all of my requests and the timeline for everything, and everything went great. Everyone had a BLAST and I did NOT expect people to dance much and we had people dancing all the way until the last dance, people were saying it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to and it was all thanks to Eric! I had stressed to him that I really wanted to keep the pace going and not let things drag, and he did a perfect job. I would never hire anyone else again.

At our recent wedding, Eric Miller DJ'd and did a fantastic job. Not only did he meet with us to make sure he understood all our requests for the big night (i.e. cocktail, dinner music, etc.), but he explained how he works through the evening with requests, ways to keep people on the dance floor, etc. We had a lot of compliments and all remaining guests were on the dance floor at the end of the night. When interviewing DJs, he came across as super friendly, prompt, and stayed on the line for an hour til all our questions were answered. We've been to a few weddings lately and nothing compared to the quality and service here. I'd hire him again for other events in the future. Be sure to ask about 'off-season' rates, too. The ET at our wedding was important, but we didn't want it to break the bank either...he was affordable and made the evening fun. He was having fun working (dancing, singing), too, so you know he loves what he does. Find a DJ that will keep people dancing, not scare them away with what they think is cool ALLL night long. Eric is the man for the job!

Dave Miller was SO fantastic to work with! He is so easy going, has a fun personality, and is easy to get in contact with (which was important for me). He works with you to pick out a music taste all your own, and the night of the wedding, everything turned out perfect! He knew exactly what the guests wanted and really kept the night moving smoothly. The value is beyond amazing, and the quality is like none other. We hope to work with An Ultimate Sound again in the future, and recommend them to anyone!

Dave did a great job playing music to get people dancing. I got a lot of compliments on the selection during coctails and dinner too.

Our experience with an ultimate sound was mixed. We had an issue with emails not getting delivered to them which resulted in a cancelled meeting about a week before the wedding which was extremely stressful. The DJ was very nice and a good MC, but forgot to announce shuttle departure times and that the slide show was playing during the reception. As a result some guests had to find alternative transportation back to the hotel or were waiting for shuttles at the wrong time; most guests missed the slide show. The strangest experience was the DJ played a song that we specifically told him not to during one face to face meeting. Why he played the song is still puzzling since there were only a couple of songs that we asked him not to play. The must play list was pretty small (about 20 songs) and the DJ played about 30% of it. The DJ got all of the special dance and entrance songs correct though and was very professional otherwise.

My husband and I went to a lot of weddings this summer and we truly felt that out of all of them, our DJ was the best! He met with us before the wedding to understand what we wanted and what we had planned and he checked how to pronounce everyone's name. He kept things moving along, making sure we didn't waste too much time between dinner and dancing. He was a great announcer and the sound was clear. He was able to read the crowd and play music to keep the dance floor full all night long. He worked well with the other vendors and was eager to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend An Ultimate Sound to anyone getting married!

The highlight of my wedding reception was our DJ! David Miller was thourough in his communication through the day of our wedding. He met with my fiance and I several months in advanced. He called the week of the wedding to run through our timeline and even went over details I had not thought of. I felt so confident with his skills and professionalism that I knew he would help run the show. It was nice to hear him say repeatedly, "This is YOUR wedding. I will help make it exactly what you want." Our guests LOVED him. He kept the wedding going and was constantly reading the crowd. He was flexible, but also was detailed. HIGHLY recommend David!

We had an Ultimate Sound DJ our wedding. Dave did an amazing job. We did not have many suggestions with music, but he did a great job of reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor. Picking Eric Miller and an Ultimate Sound was one of the best decisions my fiance and I made for our wedding day. He made everything easy, was accessible for questions when we had them, accommodated special music requests, and took such great care to pronounce everyone's name correctly at the reception. Finally, and most importantly, he kept the party going all night. My fiance and I met with Eric about six months before the wedding to interview him, and we instantly felt comfortable with him. He clearly knew music, and I remember him saying he'd once been a radio jockey at a local alternative rock station. So we hired him the next day and didn't bother interviewing any other DJs. I don't believe I talked to Eric again until a few weeks before the wedding. At that point, Eric and I had a phone call during which we hammered out all the details for the special music requests, pronunciation of the names of our wedding party members, and the reception timeline. (Please note, he has a detailed and invaluable online wedding planner that I had filled out before this phone call.) When the day came, Eric gracefully ushered all of our guests through the evening, announcing the introductions, buffet line order, cake cutting, first dances, and the party wrap up. He also instinctively knew which music my guests would enjoy most. When I got the wedding photos back, I saw that people of all ages had been dancing throughout the entire reception. (I was outside much of the time.) I actually asked Eric to close the dancing about 30 minutes early because I didn't think my friends would stop dancing. He picked two or three slower songs, announced the party's approaching conclusion, and closed the reception so well that we were all left on a high note. People have repeatedly come up and told my fiance and I how much fun they had at our wedding. My fiance (well, husband now) and I never worried once about the DJ or the music. Eric made everything so easy and fun!

An Ultimate Sound (Eric) DJed our June 15th wedding and everything was great. Like any wedding things were crazy but our day turned our perfect and everyone was out of their chairs all night :)

The dance floor was packed ALL night! Many, many people told us that it was the funnest wedding they had ever been to. Dave knew when to slow it down, change genre of music, and how to get everybody moving. From our first phone contact, to going through exactly what my daughter wanted, which music she wanted at the cocktail hour (including some not so well-known Hawaiian music), and helping to plan how the evening would flow, Dave was professional and extremely helpful. Dave did an awesome job at our wedding! The music selection was great, he played our requested songs and kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end! He kept us on track in regards to time frame for certain events in the night, however he was flexible and checked in to see how we were doing!

Eric met with us about a month before the wedding and went over our selections. He really personalized our music, and even helped me surprise my sister, whose 40th birthday was a few weeks away. He took notes on what songs meant to us, and really involved our guests. I would have a party again just so I could hire him!!!!

DJ Eric did our wedding on December 8, 2012. I could not have been happier with the experience! He played just the right music and knew what was going on so I (the bride) could just sit back and have a great time. I would highly recommend their services. Eric DJ'd our reception on 10/6/12. He was recommended to us through our photographer. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He made the planning process so easy with his online planning tools. He took the time to ask us what we invisioned for the night, paying special attention to what we liked and what we didn't. He was extremely professional and made sure our guests had a good time. For our grand entrance we wanted specific parts of a song and he totally mixed it right. This Bride was more than pleased! The night ran smoothly and we danced until our feet hurt!! As the Groom, I was responsible for booking our DJ Services. An Ultimate Sound had previously DJ'd 2 of our friends weddings, and rather than rolling the dice with someone we did not know, we choose to stick with a Tried & True vendor. Eric was outstanding from the get go. We met prior to the wedding, discussed all of the things we wanted, and those songs or dances we didn't want. Communications went excellent, we were updated and contacted as promised on all items. We were married at the Detroit Zoo, Eric took the time to setup an outdoor PA/music system at the Fountain where our ceremony was held, and then moved everything into the Butterfly house for the reception. An Ultimate Sound's online planning and music tools were easy to navigate and provided suggestions for all special dances and events throughout the wedding. Eric took the extra time, paying attention to all of the details my wife wanted right down to making sure names were pronouced accurately. The music selection was second to none, and he kept the reception moving. I cannot say enough positive things about Eric and An Ultimate Sound. I could not have made a better decision than choosing them to DJ our wedding. Andrew and Richard were the DJs for both our ceremony and reception this July. They were extremely accommodating, agreeing to set up for the ceremony just 2 days before the wedding when our original plan fell through, and made every part of the wedding flow smoothly. They even filled in song selections where we couldn't decide. Thank you guys so much!

Honestly, I was so busy during our reception that I hardly paid attention to the music. That being said, I got tons of rave reviews from my guests saying that ours was the most fun wedding that they had ever attended, which I largely attribute to the DJ. The cost was 100s less than the cost of other DJs in the area, and I don't' think the extra money could have made my reception equivalently better, our reception was perfect!

Dave Miller at An ultimate Sound was awesome! We had a mixed Chaldean/American wedding, and he was able to get the Chaldeans and the White Americans dancing all night! He even did a special Britney medley for the bride (her request)!!! Dave read the crowd well, knew when to play the fast vs. the slow songs. He was perfect with his timing and his announcements. He even did our ceremony music! So, so great!

Eric kept my dance floor packed and really listened to what we wanted for our party. We couldn't have been happier!

Eric just DJ'ed my wedding on October 1st. It was a crazy stressful day for me, but it turned out wonderfully. I literally have no complaints. The last thing you want to worry about is the people you've hired to do a job, doing their job. If you go with Eric, you will have no worries! He works with you ahead of time - I recommend taking advantage of this -you will be able to fill your specific song requests on a personalized website. It can be as detailed as you want, i.e. a song per activity: dad-daughter dance, cake cutting, intro music...etc., or you can trust the DJ and he'll do a great job. You can also tell him the type of music you want played and make several requests and he'll "round it out." At my wedding, there were ALWAYS people on dance floor and he was great at reading the crowd if was slowing down, he'd adjust. He's also an easy going and well mannered communicator (host), professional and clean cut. He is great at staying on top of taking requests and accomodating your wishes. The music sound quality and loudness were perfect and the lighting was fun. In my opinion, the DJ and music makes or breaks the party at a wedding - be concerned about choosing the right one. I would go with Eric if I were you.

The wedding was amazing and we had so much fun! The D.J. kept the wedding on schedule and left plenty of time for dancing (what everyone loves to do at a wedding!). He took requests and played songs we requested. It went so smooth and it is because we had a great D.J. to keep it rolling and keep the guests on their feet!
