About this vendor
Hello, my name is Ana and I have been in business for over a decade. I primarily worked in fashion, but decided to make the move to weddings in the last couple of years after realizing my true passion is story-telling and capturing moments that actually mean something. I currently reside in Houston, Texas with my fiance and our two cats & two dogs. I would describe my work as editorial and photojournalistic. I don't like following trends that may not stand the test of time, my style true-to-color and classic. I like composing my couples into natural poses and getting to know them well in order to tell their story accurately.
As a side note: I'm aware I received my first negative review in over a decade, and it's quite the shocking accusation. I'm in the process of having it removed due to it's defamatory nature and the fact it is simply and sadly untrue. I love what I do, and put my heart into each and every wedding. Having the honor to capture such an important moment in your lives isn't something I take for granted.

We used Ana for both our wedding and engagement photos. She is super friendly and makes you look and feel comfortable and natural in your photos, not rigid or forced. It was a fun ...
experience working with her, and she was willing to help customize our wedding photography package to fit our needs. We got so many photos back from her after the wedding, and they all looked incredible. She had a mix of different styles in them, ranging from portraits to action shots during the reception. She was also able to get us a few photos the day after the wedding, to be able to share online right away. Ana really cares about the work that she does and artfully, but authentically, captures all of the important memories.
My fiancé and I met Ana through a contest on Facebook. She selected couples to have a free engagement session, and the moment we met her, we absolutely loved her. She has such a ze...
st for life and you can tell that she loves photography and has a genuine interest in her couples. Our photography session was only 30-45 minutes and she captured so many of the most natural photos of us being ourselves, laughing and having fun together. While we did not decide to go forward with using her for our wedding photography due to budget constraints, I think she would have been worth every penny (and then some).
The best decision we made for our wedding hands down. Not only is Ana incredibly gifted, she is also one of the most genuine, kind and sweet people I've ever met. She photographed ...
our wedding on the wake of a great loss in her life, and made sure it didn't impact the way she showed up for us at all. She was extremely professional and fully present. I was shocked to find out from my wedding planner and immediately reached out to thank her. She explained she didn't want to tell me about it then because she knows how empathetic I am and didn't want to distract me from my big day. If this doesn't say everything you need to know about her character, I don't know what else would. She's a tiny thing with a huge heart. All my wedding guests adored her, she partied with us and even stayed a little later because we had a delay in our schedule, she refused compensation for the additional 30 minutes. Onto the photos: When my now husband and I received our photos 6 weeks later we were in tears. Not only did everything look like a dream, it was all handled with so much love you could just tell. We looked so good! Magazine good! We're not ones to post much on social media, but I immediately felt a need to share the photos. I hype her up so much with my friends while they have the opposite to say about their experience with their wedding photographer. Ana speaks a lot about connection and she is absolutely right. Thank God we initially felt at ease with her, and can now call her a friend.

She is insanely talented.

Upon the booking process, she offered nothing but present-minded offerings and transparent communication. I could really tell that she truly cared about the happy couple, and it showed in spades with the work that she presented. On the big day, she was bubbly, professional, and at times, seemingly everywhere at once! Ana has a real gift of capturing moments as we remember them, and all those who shared in Wendy and Paul's special day couldn't be happier with how their photos turned out. This woman is amazing!
