the process is seamless. My sisters and mom were thrilled with how they looked- makeup is soft, natural, elegant and comes out beautifully in pictures. She also was sweet and kept us on a tight schedule so we were never running behind! I highly recommend hiring Anabelle for your special day!!!

id two trials (to be sure of my look) and I felt very confident with Anabelle. The make-up was beautiful and natural. Additionally, I appreciated her focus on eyes (my favorite feature). She uses individual lashes rather which make the look more customizable and natural. As I had an August wedding I was extremely appreciative and impressed with how well the makeup stood up to the weather. Though my wedding and ceremony were indoors we took pictures in central park in 80 degree heat and humidity. You couldn’t even tell! She and her assistant were just incredible touching up the bridal party and keeping us looking our best through the ceremony. Anabelle is not only a talented make-up artist, but a great person to work with. She is incredibly professional and responsive following –up to emails often within just a few minutes! I truly enjoyed working with her on my wedding.

eyelashes (as it seems to be a trend in NY area). It was the best decision I’ve made! Anabelle is so professional, her makeup work is unbelievable. She is just enhancing your best features and make you look gorgeous. That’s all you need on your wedding day. My makeup lasted all day and all night, not even one lash fell off or foundation. She also did make up for my mom and my mom in law and sister in law. They all ended up looking stunning and were receiving compliments all night. On top of Anabelle being so professional she is also a very nice person, pleasure to talk to and fun to be around. There is no words to describe how happy I was with my makeup on my wedding day!

! A friend of mine who got married before me recommended that I reach out to Anabelle to see if she was free on my wedding date to do makeup for myself and my bridal party and luckily she was free. As soon as I reached out to Anabelle and got a response I knew she would be great to work with. She is always prompt in her responses, and extremely kind. We set up a time to do a makeup trial. I wasn't sure what to expect when Anabelle came to my apartment to do the trial, but she was extremely patient, went through several different options with me, and worked to find the perfect makeup look for me that I would be comfortable with on my wedding date. I ended up booking Anabelle to do my makeup, my mom's makeup, mother in law's makeup, and 4 bridesmaids. She was amazing on the day of the wedding! Not only did she do an incredible job on everyones makeup, but she was a true friend and confidant. The day of my wedding was extremely hot (I got married in NYC in August) over 100 degrees! Of course, I decided that I had to do photos outside in Central Park for my first look. By the time I got to Central Park, I was a million degrees, I was wearing a very large heavy ball gown, and I was sweating like crazy. I was freaking out. Anabelle stayed calm, cool, and collected- touched up my makeup and went above and beyond to wipe me down all over (including my really gross and sweaty legs!) while we were standing outside for 30 minutes doing photos. When I went into the park for my first look she was the only one who came with me other than the photographer. Anabelle could sense that I was nervous and overwhelmed and she was really there for me not just as a makeup artist or someone I hired but as a true friend. Anabelle helped me to realize that while these first look photos would look amazing it was NOT worth it to drag the entire bridal party outside to do their photos outside since it was just so hot. I took her advice, and I am so glad I did. Throughout the entire time that I worked with Anabelle I thought of her not just as my makeup artist, but as my friend. I had no idea how to find someone to do my hair for the wedding, so I was thrilled that Anabelle could recommend someone (Styles on B and they did an incredible job I will be writing a review for them too)! I always valued her advice and her kindness. I am so glad that I hired Anabelle, she is truly the best!
