I wore my hair down with a retrowave and the style was perfect even by the end of the night - like wow! I've seen a few girls I know get a similar style by other stylists and it looks lackluster, flat and falls out into stringy pieces, but let me just say - Veronica fully understands the assignment! She's so well-known for being a specialist with that retrowave and I fully understand why - how she was able to work with my hair and make it stay the way it did was pure magic. She was also so professional and personable and it was obvious that she really cares about her clients, and not just how they look, but how they feel. She made sure the pins didn't pinch/hurt, my clip-ins weren't uncomfortable - even made sure I ate! IDE. ((I had 2 hair trials before I met Veronica. Both of them were decent, but there was no way they were going to last all night long. They were "wispy" and looked like I was going to PROM, NOT GETTING MARRIED. Basically they were nice, but I was unimpressed and not what I was looking for.)) Then, I had my trial with Veronica. She was so COOL, CALM, AND COLLECTED. Giving her professional advice, but also taking my OPINION into account. She is so confident in her ability that she walked me through the entire thing, showing me different options of how I wanted it to look from the front. I feel like so many hairstylists JUST DO THE SAME HAIRSTYLE FOR EVERYONE. But not, definitely not Veronica. On my wedding day, she checked in throughout the process to see if any pins were hurting and needed to be readjusted. As you can see from the photos, my hair is BRIDAL and TOTALLY GLAMOROUS. Exactly what I wanted. My hair LASTED THROUGH ALL OF OF DANCING AND HUGS throughout the night. And because of Veronica, I felt absolutely GORGEOUS on my wedding day. She's amazing. ((The hairpiece is from Dareth Colburn. And it's actually 2 pieces that Veronica put together. Like I said, she's amazing.))

Let me tell you that you will not be disappointed at all because she is so talented at what she does. She took her time doing my hair, made sure every piece was in place, I even had a full head of extensions and it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all throughout the night. She was so calming and down to earth while I was getting my hair done and that helped lot to just enjoy my time getting ready.

She was so kind and offered to help me pick out extensions that would match my hair color during my trial, before I even formally booked with her. eronica has provided services for both family and friends and I can truly say, she has become family from how much love and care she's given each and every one of us. I've had many experiences with her providing her services for hair. Each time she was beyond professional, prompt with time, genuinely wanting to make sure I loved my hair, and overall so much fun to be around. When it came time to choose who I wanted to style my hair for my wedding, Veronica was instantly the person I wanted for my special day. Despite the fact that I knew she was going to make me look AND feel glamourous, I knew she would bring forth the type of energy I wanted to be around, especially during my morning preparations. Throughout the whole CRAZY CRAZY covid wedding process, Veronica and her assistant Stephanie were broth a joy to work with. I am not joking when I say that I was constantly changing my wedding plans every few days and Veronica, along with Stephanie were accomodating and prompt with their responses. No matter how many times I changed plans, they never made me feel like a bother. Fast forward to the actual wedding date. Veronica was making me feel like a true bride while working her magic. We had so much fun chit-chatting the entire time, seriously she is so sweet and such great energy to be around. Yes, I did have to wear a mask... that is not a hard ask, we are going through COVID. I completely understand why she would want to have us wear a mask, and I especially understand since I contracted COVID in April and was severely sick for 6 weeks, I would never want anyone to go through that experience or even something worse. COVID is not something you should take lightly, even on your wedding day. As I was finishing up with my hair, I realized that my makeup artist did not show up. My makeup artist arrived almost 2 hours after agreed upon time and as you can imagine I wanted to cry. Veronica calmed me down throughout the whole situation. She breathed calming words and supported me the entire way. Veronica was supposed to leave after she had finished my hair. Not only did she stay the entire time while I was getting my makeup done, but she also waited until my pictures were finished and I was off to the church. She stayed HOURS beyond her scheduled time to make sure I was mentally relaxed for my wedding day. She also showed up well beyond the scheduled time for my touch up to make sure she could continue to calm my nerves. Veronica is much much more than just someone you hire as your hair artist. She genuinely cares for her brides beyond making them look good. I don't know what I would've done without Veronica's support and immense love on my wedding day. Aside from making me feel beautiful, she also made my mom feel beautiful as well. Transforming her fine hair into a style that made her feel glamorous. Her interaction with my grandma was even the sweetest, seriously she still texts me and asks me about her. to Veronica until the day of your wedding. 6 days before my wedding her assistant emailed me telling that Veronica needs a separate room because of COVID-19 and she can't not be around people in the same room as the person getting the hair done. she also ask you to sign a COVID-19 Affidavit a lot of protocol to go though it. Ok, I understand that she wants to be safe and I tried to make that happen. I was constantly reminding the girls to put the mask to walk to that room, and not to enter “the forbidden room”. But for me as a bride I don't want to be worried about that you know? Also, we were all isolated in that little room bored to death and not able to speak to anyone while we did our hair, Veronica is not the type for small talk, she’s cold and unapproachable and has a diva like attitude. I didn't feel comfortable working with her at all. It was always a tension in the room she was at I could feel an attitude kind of coming for her. As soon as I sat on her chair, she gave me attitude because I wanted a different hairstyle than the one we did on my trial. She was so rude and disrespectful, kicked my mom out of the room because she took her mask off to eat. My mom is an older woman and the way she talked to her was unacceptable. My hair looked beautiful and so did my moms and the other girls but I wouldn’t recommend her at all. She completely ruined my getting ready process and that is something I will never get back. We couldn’t even take getting ready pictures that day. We were all tense and there was just a negative vibe because of her. Ps: I am not judging her work. I am judging her as a professional, just knowing how to do a great hair is not enough to be a good professional.

From the beginning until my wedding day, she was flexible, accessible, understanding and let’s not forget her sweet and tender spirit that will keep any bride call. While she was doing my hair and makeup there were some challenges that came up with my photographer. Veronica was present with me. She kept me cool, calm and collective before I freaked out! Her encouragement and positive words really allowed me to just relax and. Or worry. The day of my wedding was SO hot and my makeup, and hair did not budge!! It came out so beautiful, I practically cried at night when I needed to wash my face and hair haha. All that to say, ladies go with Veronica you WILL NOT be disappointed. She did 3 looks for me and each one exceeded my expectations! She is very calm and professional throughout the process. We even emailed back and forth once I got all my outfits to brainstorm eyeshadow/lipstick colors. I wanted each of my looks to be different and she nailed each one. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so there were times I was very indecisive but she offered great suggestions and convinced me to get out of my comfort zone. I received a lot of compliments about my makeup and hair throughout the weekend. I would definitely recommend her to any future bride! You will not be disappointed.
