Analog Wedding

Ashley is an incredible photographer and human, and we are so grateful she was there to capture our special day. She is a true expert in her craft, and we had no doubt she would document our day beautifully. The preview photos we received confirmed it - we couldn't be more happy with how they turned out! Ashley's kind, calm presence made our wedding day so much better. She sincerely cares about her clients and her work. Despite living quite far away, Ashley generously came out to our venue with us several weeks before the wedding to scout the area and help us prepare for the day. Having photographed weddings myself, I knew I wanted someone who could photograph with film and capture the more natural, in between moments, and Ashley was the perfect person. She makes you feel entirely at ease and is a true talent and joy to be around. We cannot recommend her enough!

I was really nervous and picky about choosing a photographer. I knew there were a lot of things I didn’t want and was having a hard time finding a photographer that had the things I did want! I came across analog wedding on instagram and knew immediately she was the perfect fit. I have never gotten photos back from any type of photography session and been blown away until I saw my preview for the wedding photos. I cried because of how well she captured the day. Everything was natural and not overly posed and the editing was amazing. I would recommend her to anyone!

The first vendor I researched when we began wedding planning was photography - I was obsessed with film and digital photos and really wanted that style for our own wedding. We did our engagement shoot with Ashley and right from the start, we could tell just how seriously and passionately she took her craft. With both the engagement shoot and our actual wedding day, Ashley was a source of calmness and true support for me, my husband, and my bridal party. She really encouraged everyone to enjoy the day, never pushed for poses but emphasized candid moments, and went above and beyond for us all. I just love her photography style, so romantic, authentic, and joyful with a sense of genuine nostalgia. All of my guests were in awe of the final wedding photos and everyone was raving at how talented and supportive Ashley was the whole day. Pricing was more than reasonable, communication was superb, and overall working with her was just a joy for us. We are recommending her to everyone we know!!

I am a creative in the wedding industry myself and have worked with many incredible photographers, so when it came time to choose a photographer for our own wedding I had a pretty good idea of what we wanted – digital and film, real and authentic, true to color and, most importantly, artistic and candid. I had come across Ashley's work on Instagram of another fellow vendor's wedding and I immediately fell in love. There was something unique and true about her photography that really spoke to me, so I set up a meeting to chat with her. From the moment I met Ashley I knew she was the perfect fit for us. Not only is she one of the kindest and most genuine people you will ever meet, it was clear from the getgo that photography is a true passion for her which shows in the work she creates. Ashley was the first and only photographer I met with. Hiring her was the easiest and BEST decision we made. PERIOD. Without her, I probably would have lost my mind. We were planning the wedding ourselves so it was a lot of "learning on the job". She dove right in to help with creating a timeline and suggesting ideas on how to approach our ceremony. Her knowledge of weddings and willingness to help us with anything along the way was everything I needed to keep my head on straight. Then, 2020 happened and our original plans fell apart. At that point, there were two things we knew: 1) We were still getting married, even if it was just the two of us and 2) we were still going to have Ashley capture that day (because you just can't let a perfect photographer slip away!!!) As we recreated our plan from scratch, Ashley was, once again, there to help us adjust the timeline (a few times!), scout photography spots at our new venue and answer every question that popped up along the way. Every interaction and conversation with her was so pleasant and gave us total peace of mind. On our wedding day she was perfection. Half the time I didn't even know she was there because she just blended in and did her thing! She did an amazing job working with our families and our dog for photos and collaborated brilliantly with our videographer. Now, we knew she'd knock it out of the park, but when we got our sneak peeks I just cried tears of joy. She captured moments I didn't even realize were happening. Every photo is a work of art and speaks volumes about her talent. Her work was everything I envisioned before I even met her and more. I'd shout it from the rooftops if I could - HIRE HER!! You will be delighted with your experience and the magic she'll capture for you. I wish we could repeat our wedding over and over, but instead, we'll just be finding every opportunity under the sun to have her capture moments for the rest of our lives.
