She always delivers her galleries in a timely fashion, which is important to me personally. She has a great attention to detail which I appreciate very much. I’ve worked with her a handful of times on photoshoots & I would recommend her to any bride looking for this particular style of photography.
She’s also very familiar with local Detroit venues/estates and scouts her locations ahead of time to keep momentum going throughout the event/s.

very comfortable at our engagement shoot as well as the day of our wedding. As a newer wedding photographer I feel that she is still learning how to expand her variety of shots and organize her shot schedule versus running with the moment. Her eye for photography is also evolving as she is discovering what kind of couples are a fit for her so I definitely recommend following her Instagram for a better idea of her portfolio. Overall, we are very happy with our photos and consider ourselves really lucky to have booked Anastasia.

However for the price, I was quite disappointed in the end. I spent more than I budgeted on pictures because it was very important to me that our special day was captured entirely, so we hired a second shooter for half of the day as well. Before the wedding, it was a bit tough to get in touch with Anastasia. I had never worked with a photographer before and didn't know what to expect. After a zoom meeting, we created a schedule for the day and a list a family members we wanted pictures with to keep things running smoothly. She didn't ask for any other specifics, so I assumed as a professional wedding photographer, she would know what pictures were important to most people. I was very sad to discover many important photos were not taken (or at least given to us) including my mom buttoning my dress, my sisters helping with my veil, my mother-in-law pinning the corsage on my husband, our table settings, our center pieces, any of our outdoor decorations... I could go on. We reached out after the Wedding expressing our feelings on the missing pictures and lack of quantity of photos and we were blown off. Anastasia also promised a sneak peak in 1-2 weeks as she left our Wedding, but we received nothing until all of our pictures came in 6-7 weeks later.
Overall we are happy with the photos we received, but very disappointed in Anastasias professionalism & the missing photos we considered essential.
I would not recommend this photographer for large Weddings or events, but would for small, private shoots.

She was also VERY flexible when our shoot location was a flop. Instead of forcing a photo shoot in a flooded park, she was so flexible in switching to a different date and location to make sure we got the best photos. At the shoot, she quickly made us feel comfortable and we had a ton of fun. She got our photos back to us quickly and in the time she predicted. We love our photos and continue to get positive remarks from our family and friends. The romantic, vintage, natural, earthy style of her photos was exactly what we were looking for and we could not be happier with the photos. If we were getting married in Michigan, I have no doubt I would have booked Anastasia for our wedding too!
