for a local photographer (although they will travel anywhere for you) and something kept pulling me back to Anchor & Veil. They keep a busy business with others, but make you feel like one of a kind from beginning to end. We started out by meeting Devon on Zoom, he also does his homework on the couple to get to know you better and what photographers he would pair you up with if he was not available. From the start, you can tell Devon is such a class-act, KIND, personal, and family oriented guy. You can tell from talking with him and seeing his pictures, he truly has a passion to capturing your special moments. I can’t thank Devon enough for pairing us up with Christian Reyes for our engagement session and Christian and Anya for our wedding. We also met Christian on Zoom before our engagement session. A&V should be so grateful to have Christian a part of their team! Christian took a moment to meet us and get to know us before hand on Zoom..and meeting her in person for our engagement session you would have thought Christian was one of our long lost close friends. A&V did a GOOD JOB connecting Christian with us. You can also tell Christian has a great passion for her work and art in photography. She has a natural talent of also feeling a person out on what they want- she just knew- that takes a special talent. Christian has such a great professionalism to her with a fun side- everything you would want from a photographer. Christian and Anya were hired for our wedding day and did a GREAT job of capturing every moment. Receiving the pictures back 3 weeks later, it took me right back to every memory that happened that day. Your wedding day truly happens so fast, hiring Anchor & Veil, helps you go back and slows down time once you have the chance to look at your pictures. We cried, laughed, and felt those emotions come back once we saw our pictures. I will say, Christian and Anya with Anchor & Veil completed the assignment. If we could go back, I would hire them all over again. So again, do yourself a favor, spend the money, and hire this team! They are well worth it. My ONLY take back is the albums. Choosing out of SO many pictures is hard for what little amount of pages you receive for the album. I do question adding a page for $99 sounds a bit off for what you spent already. I also wish we were able to see the pictures before hand before looking at the pre-done album. We did feel a bit rushed during this process of making the albums and that it could have been better for a piece that will forever be with us. hotos, rehearsal, wedding day and for video. They have different packages based on who you want to be your photographer. We went with the most expensive, hiring the owner himself, Devin. First off the photos in their portfolio are not even theirs because what photos we did receive were nothing like those. The portfolio is staged and fake weddings so no wonder they are so great. Devin lost everything. My entire rehearsal dinner/day (and since we had him we took ZERO photos ourselves) and majority of the wedding photos. The wedding photos I did get were AWFUL. I have zero pictures of me with my family. We also paid extra to have two photographers for wedding day. I did this because I wanted someone with me and someone with my husband at all times for getting ready then someone with us after the ceremony and someone with guests. Well he brought a second photographer day of, but he was basically an intern. Handed Devin his camera, held up lights for him, etc. Not once did he leave Devins side. So we basically paid him extra to have support and train someone. Several weeks after the wedding I kept asking for our photos. Devin kept procrastinating and making excuses. Finally my husband called him out and said you lost the photos didnt you? Which he finally admitted he basically taped over the rehearsal photos and lost the wedding day. Adding here, my husband guessed it bc I told him at the wedding a guest came up to me and said hey I found this sim card in the gravel. It was Devins. It had fallen out of his pocket and been destroyed. I was and am devastated. You cannot recreate these photos and I will never get another wedding. I hope everyone reads this and thinks twice before hiring him or his company. Because you won't even get a refund. Read the contract very carefully.

From that moment on, I can honestly say I didn’t stress any change or hiccup that comes along with getting married during a pandemic, and in the dead of winter. I had the photographer of my dreams, and I knew he would take care of us. I am left absolutely speechless after receiving our wedding photos. He was able to capture every moment perfectly, and some moments I would’ve never seen by many other wedding photographers. It’s clear he is a true artist with an eye for capturing the most beautiful visuals to showcase this. I have had multiple guests reach out to me to give kudos to him. He is seriously one of the kindest humans we’ve ever met. Each member of his team that I have spoken with has made me feel so at ease, and genuinely valued as a Bride. If you are on the fence- I’m screaming BOOK HIM! BOOK HIM HONEY! He is worth every penny and MORE. I will forever be thankful he gave me these amazing memories to look back on.
