Our sanctuary, with its timeless architecture, seats up to 225 guests, making it ideal for an indoor ceremony. The grounds also provide beautiful outdoor options, offering endless opportunities for stunning wedding photos without the need to leave the venue. We prioritize comfort and convenience. Our newly renovated facilities include spacious dressing rooms. Whether you prefer an intimate outdoor ceremony or a grand indoor celebration, Anchorage Presbyterian Church offers a peaceful, stress-free environment to make your wedding day unforgettable. The church also provides space for your reception. Our fellowship hall is a warm and inviting area that can be tailored to fit your vision, whether for a seated dinner or cocktail reception. With both ceremony and reception options available, you and your guests can enjoy the entire day without the need for travel. Outdoor Weddings: We also offer outdoor weddings in our natural setting. A tent may be set up in the parking lot but must be removed before Sunday services. Tent rental, setup, and removal must be arranged by the couple. Anchorage Presbyterian Church combines history, beauty, and modern comfort to provide the perfect setting for your wedding celebration. With over a decade of experience, including service as a Palliative Care Chaplain, Reverend Tara Reck now serves as Pastor and head of staff at Anchorage Presbyterian. Tara is known for her compassionate and personalized approach to officiating weddings, ensuring each ceremony is meaningful and unique to the couple. She shares her life with her husband, Hanns, and their twin daughters.

ative throughout the entire process, which made everything run smoothly. The church also had a lot of items we were able to borrow (like tablecloths, seat covers, some table runners, fairy lights), which helped us save money and made planning much easier. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a lovely place to get married.

ing and everything fit comfortably. They let us come the day before for set up and even had getting ready rooms for both the bride and the groom. We loved having our wedding reception at APC and there were plenty of beautiful spots to take photos! The staff is extremely friendly and you can tell that they genuinely care for the couples they serve. They were organized, accommodating, and flexible. The staff at APC made the wedding planning process less stressful and were very helpful and available throughout the entire process. This venue is definitely a hidden gem in Louisville!

history. The sanctuary and fellowship hall were more than enough space for our 50 person wedding, they could easily hold many more guests. The sanctuary also features a glorious organ and a historic bell that can be rung to announce your union. There are many original stained glass windows throughout the building that add a beautiful, romantic atmosphere to the ceremony and photos. All in all we were beyond pleased with our experience. The price was more than fair and everything went very smoothly, all thanks to the wonderful people working at this church. We would strongly recommend you get married here!

ration to be married at Anchorage Pres., however, I would do it all over again had we been searching for a traditional, welcoming space in the Louisville area. We had many local and out-of-town guests comment on how intimate the ceremony and sanctuary felt from beginning to end. The sunset light shining through the original stained glass windows during the moments we took our vows was SO beautiful, I truly felt like I was living a dream. The entire planning experience was smooth, staff clearly communicated and were incredibly accommodating with our personalization wishes (including our dogs as special guests). We would recommend APC over and over again to any couple looking for a timeless, memorable wedding day.
