The design was perfection and catered to the design of our venue. She asked us pictures and designs of our sweetheart table, the floral arrangements at our table and all of our guests centerpieces to get a cohesive design of the cake to the entire ensemble. She also paid attention to our wedding invitation and color palette! Please mind that I did not want an all white wedding cake. I wanted some color to add a unique flair to our elegant fall wedding color palette. Please check out ALL of her beautiful white cake designs on her site if you are looking to do an all white cake. They are extremely gorgeous!!!!
The flavors and taste of the cake was DIVINE!!!!!
It has a high level of standard to the level of texture and smoothness of the buttercream. ALL the flavors we had were so unique! Dark Chocolate with Raspberry buttercream on the bottom tier, Oolong Tea Cake with Oolong Buttercream, and Earl Grey Tea Cake with Salted Caramel Buttercream!!
The flavors were customized to what I liked. Jacklyn walked us through flavor samples and really engaged us in the process. It was an amazing experience to build a customized cake together with my fiancé.. now husband!

e asked questions to get a feeling of what we liked and our style for flavor and design of the cake. The tasting was so fun mixing and matching flavors that I almost forgot We had to choose our flavors. Jackie was so accommodating and allowed us to have different flavors for each tier (4 tiers)! As for the design of the cake, we only gave general input of what we liked and let her run with the rest. Gradient colored cake with a rustic modern touch.
The cake looked and tasted amazing! The only thing I wish was that everyone could try each flavor. But, I guess that's just part of the fun of which flavor each guest gets. We also found out that Jackie does cookies (cookies by Jackie Chan) and were equally delicious.

Especially black sesame, that is definitely the Asian crowd or the red velvet with a cream cheese filling. al vendors don't offer. For our cake we choose to come with an Oolong Tea cake with a Black Sesame buttercream, flavors we couldn't find anywhere else. The cake was an absolute hit and wowed every single guest in attendance.
Second, Jackie was incredibly thoughtful through the whole process. First she was very flexible with arranging a time for us to pick-up our tasting set of cakes and buttercreams. Second, she made sure to help us accurately plan out the amount of cakes and desserts we would need to keep our guests satisfied. Lastly, she arranged for desserts to be kept aside for us on the big day to make sure my wife and I would be able to taste each of the desserts we ordered (cheesecake, cookies, and brownie bites).
I've already recommended Jackie's services to friends and would do so again in a heartbeat. Thank you Jackie!

The ganache was perfect for chocolate lovers. The raspberry vanilla one was my favorite though- incredibly moist and so yummy. Besides the beautiful and tasty 4 layer cake, Jackie was so sweet and friendly, easy to work with, and very accommodating throughout our various COVID postponements and last minute guest number changes! I just need to talk about her variety of flavors for a bit. Something that I was looking for in our wedding cake was being able to incorporate Asian flavors, and if you know, you know... uncles and aunties will always say American desserts are "too sweet". Well, we didn't get any of those comments from my family, just how absolutely delicious the cakes were. Our cake layers were Matcha cake with vanilla buttercream, oolong tea cake with honey buttercream, and marble cake with hazelnut buttercream. I must say the Oolong cake was the standout. We were completely blown away from the flavors.
All in all, we will definitely be using Jackie again for future events. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful wedding cake from an honest hardworking person, this is your place to go.

Our wedding venue also did not have any kind of refrigeration on-site available for a cake, and Jackie readily advised on what kind of frosting would still hold up well on a warm day. When we had to postpone and downsize our wedding due to COVID-19, Jackie was extremely accommodating and flexible and took a lot of stress out of this aspect of our re-planning. She also gave us the option to develop completely customized cake flavors. We were impressed that she took into account the flavors we liked and our design ideas/wedding themes. Jackie provided us with wonderful feedback and ideas, and remained in regular contact with us throughout the process to realize our ideal cake. We decided to have a two tier cake - the top was a vanilla cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling, and the base was an espresso/coffee flavored cake with chocolate ganache and toffee bits. We were blown away at our tasting - the cake was so moist and the flavor was absolutely amazing. We were even more blown away when we tasted it again and saw her beautiful design on the day of our wedding. Our whole wedding party was in love. One of our friends, who typically eats vegan, even broke from their traditional diet to eat a piece and said it was the best cake they ever had! We had leftover cake and nothing made us happier than enjoying the leftovers for the next few days. The cake remained moist for a surprisingly long time, and the flavor was so, so good. Truth be told, my sweet husband only let me get the matcha because I love that flavor even though he doesn't, but when we took a bite of our wedding cake he was totally blown away.
