My wedding was on 1.04.2017. This venue offers customizable wedding packages, and beautiful grounds on which to have both your ceremony and reception. We had a group totaling 35 people and we felt that the reception area (The Nohea Lawn) could not have been more perfect for our size. The food was amazing, I truly mean it, especially the formal appetizers. Our wedding coordinator made sure everything was organized as we had discussed in our wedding review the day before, which was a welcome relief. And all of the staff were so helpful. Sy, our bartender deserves a shout out as well. My husband and I feel that our day could not have been any more perfect.
We had our room blocks the last week of August 2015. Since school had already started for kids, I think this was technically off peak season. So not sure if that affects the prices, but our room block prices started at $374 and went up. The rooms are very clean and the décor is modern. The hotel itself is very airy, clean, and chic and the staff are very attentive.
We also held our rehearsal dinner at Morimoto's on property, which was delicious. They worked with us on the event pricing, but it still was pricier than other options on the island, but the food and drinks are definitely worth it. I'm not sure we could've had a more delicious meal on the island.
Finally, we held our farewell brunch at Ka'ana Kitchen, which is the main hotel restaurant. Their brunch buffet is incredible, definitely a MUST TRY. At $45 a person, it is a bit pricey, but it's so yummy, it's definitely worth it! And they have unlimited mimosas for $15 a person, which is definitely the best deal at the entire hotel. Our brunch started at 11am, which is when the regular brunch ends, so the hotel just continued their brunch spread until 1pm for us, which was great because we still got to have the entire buffet for our guests, which everyone enjoyed!
We loved everything about our experience at the Andaz Wailea!
Most beautiful hotel on Wailea- if not on all of Maui. From the minute we arrived the grounds until our final Aloha, our every need was met. Although everything about Andaz is expensive, we found value in the money we spent and will have wonderful memories of our trip there forever. Hawaii honeymooners, definitely check out this hotel!!
