The team sent us videos of our first look, grand entrance, first dance and the bouquet/garter toss! WOW, we did not expect that at all. It was the cherry on top of our honeymoon. Nathan and Richard were so much fun to work with, they made us feel comfortable right away and you could tell they knew what they were doing. You can tell this team is very talented. I finally made my decision after Alex offered a customized package for our wedding! Alex was professional since day one. Very quick to respond. And he gladly answered so many of my questions while I was inquiring about his services. After watching videos from Alex and his team, I immediately fell in love with his style. after watching a highlight video from another wedding. We agreed to at least entertain the idea and find out how much it would cost. Our photographer had worked with Alex on many occasions. I text him at 10pm and got a response. He directed me to his webpage, Instagram, and we instantly fell in love with his style. We met up at the venue and ideas rolled out like no other. We planned to have an encore special thing at the end of wedding..But on the day we got kicked out by security.  On the day of, he was the first partner to show up, wasted no time and got to work. Directions from him were easy, comfortable (takes the edge off on the big day), and genuinely he wanted to make something special out of very moment. During the church, he was not intrusive and obstructive, but captures amazing, amazing clips!! His creativity captures the essence of the moment in a capsulated highlight video that does nothing but draw raw emotion from watching it. He's a super chill, professional, and cares for nothing other than making the couple relaxed and collaborating to making an amazing video, that each time you watch it, will take you back to the day and re-live the experience! They handled every situation so calmly and professionally. The day went by SOO quick and I’m so happy they captured every moment of it. When we received our highlight video, we were blown away. Alex’s storytelling is very detailed and I can really tell he puts a lot of thought into every single clip to match the dialogue. Listening to my mother’s speech always gets me. They posted the video on you tube, 3 days after my wedding (fast footage provided 😃🤗) it now has over 167k views😳. I never expected that!!! My friends and family complimented everything about my wedding, and surprise dance video. All the speeches selected for our video left us with out words, and made us focus on the message our loved one's wanted to deliver, without all the "umm,s" 😂😂😂. They made us tear up, and laugh. hat she did. Up until the day of the wedding, Alex was extremely easy to communicate with as far as explaining different packages, prices, etc. Every question that we had was answered promptly. Our wedding was in Buffalo, NY and Alex and Hector traveled from their hometown Los Angeles before the day of our wedding. We planned the itinerary for the next day (wedding day). On the wedding day, Alex and Hector kept their professionalism by looking extremely sharp. They worked great with our photographers too. We did not have to do anything special for Alex, he just captured great footage without bothering us at all and without telling us what to do. Alex informed us that he and Hector were going to be in town all of next day ass well and asked us if we wanted to shoot more footage at Niagara Falls too and of course we did. Alex turned this day into a "dream", literally. He used the incredible footage that we got from the falls as a dream that I woke up from and started my wedding day (if you watch our film, you will see what I mean). At the falls, we used the drone and were lucky enough to have the American side of the Maid of the Mist all to ourselves for about a half hour. During this time, it was just us 4 and no one else in the picture, which we believe that has never been done before at the falls. People, I'm telling you, the footage that Alex and Hector got are not explainable in words, you have to see it for yourself. Everyone we showed it to started tearing up and said that it was breathtaking, and it truly was. Alex provided us with a 1 minute behind-the-scenes footage right away that night which was enough to show us what was coming when he finished editing the whole thing. About a month later, Alex provided us with the trailer of our film. After a couple of months, we got the 4.5 minute film. Again, it is absolute indescribable in words. It wasn't any different than a Hollywood movie as far as footage and quality goes. Alex created a special password protected website for us and made it into a "DVD format" basically giving us the clickable options of watching the trailer, the film, and the bonus features. The bonus features are non-edited footage from the day of the wedding such as getting ready, first dance, parent dances, having fun, speeches, etc. Raw footage is also excellent. I would actually say that Alex's raw footage is probably better than most other videographers' best work. I also have to add that Alex was more affordable than a few other options that we looked at, which is crazy because Alex's work is better than anything we had seen during our research. Our friends and family who are married have told us that now, because of our film, they hate their own wedding videos haha!! for two exclusive quality videographers but ended up with just one. The absence of the quality videographer and poor substitution was clearly reflected in our video. Detailed version: We increased our budget to book both Alex & Vanessa as our exclusive videographers and the help of one assistant. With less than two days till our big day, Vanessa emailed us (no direct call) that she would not be available because her mom was getting surgery. Alex and the assistant would still be in attendance but a "quality videographer" will take her place. After our wedding ceremony, I overheard the "quality videographer" say he was leaving for another wedding. He never came back and during our reception dinner, only Alex and one assistant was present. After our wedding, I brought up this issue and Vanessa confirmed "Since it was very last minute, we were only able to hire him for 6 hours." I was very disheartened over their sheer lack of honesty and transparency as it was not disclosed to us before our big day. I told her we were not asking for a refund but really hoped that they would sincerely consider compensating for her last minute absence, not to mention a part-time "quality videographer." Vanessa was only willing to do ONE additional edit of our two minute first dance. I tried to negotiate for more but they were "swamped with other edits." Unbelievable. When they dropped off the video, they were 40 minutes late (no apologies!) even though I explicitly told them to please be on time because I had another event. It gets worse. When we watched the video, our expectations were shattered. Alex did his job but the "quality videographer" was subpar and the assistant (basically a student-in-training) filming our reception was HORRIBLE. We would have been better off asking a family member film his part using our GoPro. The damage is now done. It's been one year now and I still can't watch our video. The video should have captured special memories of our big day. Instead, it has become a clear reminder of the frustrating and acid inducing experience we had with AndHer Visuals.
