Andrea is AMAZING! She took so many photos on our wedding day. She was very engaged, friendly, upbeat, and so much fun to work with. She took into consideration our personalities (my husband and I are reserved, while members of wedding party were outgoing). She was everywhere and yet simultaneously unobtrusive! She even noticed small things and made friendly reminders to make sure our photos turned out great (e.g., collar needing adjusted, posture). We and our wedding guests loved both her and her work. I cannot say enough positive things about Andrea. She is SO FUN to work with! Even before our wedding she was so thorough in helping us plan our timeline and figure out what photos we wanted to capture during our big day. And throughout our wedding day, we so enjoyed how Andrea captured the full emotions and joy of the ceremony and reception. Andrea is a wonder. From the first time we met her right up through the wedding she was responsive, fast, and everything you could want from a photographer. Our engagement session went wonderful and she was never worried about going over time or shying away from going to another place to shoot. She was so great at getting interesting photos rather than cookie cutter things you always see. I also had the pleasure of booking a boudoir session with her and getting beautiful images that she put together in a book for me to gift my husband on wedding day. I don't even know where to start! Andrea is INCREDIBLE! We contacted her about 1.5 years before our wedding and knew from our first call that we'd found our photographer. Right from that call, Andrea made a point to get to know my husband and me and our love story.   For our engagement photos, Andrea was willing to do anything and go anywhere! From the start of the shoot to the end, she picked beautiful, creative spots and helped us pose. Her energy and cheerfulness made the experience so enjoyable—we could have kept going for hours!   Our wedding weekend was no different. About a month before the wedding, we had a final meeting to review the family photo list and discuss the timeline. Andrea arrived promptly for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Despite the casual nature of the rehearsal dinner, she captured so many incredible moments. On the wedding day, she got to work on detail shots while we finished hair and makeup. She brought a second shooter, Victor (who was also AWESOME), to capture my husband’s 'getting ready' moments. Special thanks to Victor for venturing into West Peachtree St. for some fun shots of my husband and his groomsmen! Andrea and her team are truly down to do anything and go anywhere. She was always aware of the time and kept our photos on track without making us feel rushed, capturing countless special moments throughout the day.   After the wedding, we received thousands of edited images and a sweet slideshow paired with music. During our reveal celebration, Andrea walked us through our wedding album, and we worked together to select the final images, the album cover, and the embossing.   From start to finish, Andrea was our favorite wedding vendor. She went above and beyond to get to know us and what was important to us, resulting in countless beautiful and special images that we'll cherish forever. We cannot thank Andrea and her team enough! Andrea was able to capture every moment of our wedding day. She arrived a little early and starting snapping away at every detail of our wedding day. I absolutely adore Andrea! Her work speaks for itself! She's amazing to work with and her personality is just as amazing! Throughout the planning process Andrea was attentive to our values in order to figure out what to focus on. She wanted to hear our entire story and really get to know us, our families, and what we were looking forward to most. We don’t even know how she got most of her shots because she somehow vanished during the events. We never felt that we had to stop and pose. The father of the groom said, “you guys really hit the home run with the photographer.” Andrea preserved aspects of the day that I would’ve missed and now thanks to her we have them forever. She made me feel very beautiful and so lucky to marry such a handsome guy. More than just photograph our wedding she captured the feelings of the day, the cold weather somehow, the absolute joy. Of course all the framing and colors were incredible; she has lots of fancy photographer tricks to get magical shots I could never have imagined. In addition to her raw talent, she is just really kind and a romantic and got our photos to us four days after our wedding (the day before a holiday!) because we were going to be separating for a bit after. I can’t stop looking at our photos and I can’t recommend Andrea enough.

I love our photos, and I'm so happy we have Andrea to photograph our private elopement ceremony! Seriously, book her now! Andrea exceeded all expectations. She had some insane photography tricks that i still can't believe. My wedding was in the late afternoon before sunset and she was able to use some magical orange flash bulb that made it look like a perfect evening glow was on my husband and I. She was a dream to work with and was literally as supportive as my sister before the wedding. Her backup photographer, Alma, was so sweet and so talented as well. They made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. This was truly the best customer service i have ever had in my life.

Andrea was the photographer at my daughter's wedding in Georgia. This was a destination wedding for me and I had to take my daughter's word that she picked a fine photographer. I can tell you without hesitation that she and her assistant were phenomenal. She leveraged the settings in remarkable ways. Her use of light was exceptional. Andrea is such a pleasure and is always willing to go the extra mile to capture that magical moment! For background, both me and my (now) husband have a background in film and photography in our own profession so we were REALLY picky on who we choose for our wedding and engagement photographer. We wanted a photographer that wasn’t flippant and only captures the current ‘trends’- which Andrea is luckily far from it! From the day that we met Andrea, we knew she was the one we wanted to photograph our special day! She was super attentive, helpful, and fun to work with. My husband and I tend to be more awkward with getting our pictures taken, but Andrea made us feel comfortable and at ease. Between our engagement and wedding, we loved our pictures. We had soo many that we loved that it was SO hard to narrow it down for our wedding album. Andrea was super helpful when it came to choosing our photos and made sure that our album was telling a story of our magical day. I would 1000% recommend Andrea to anyone. She was originally in the bay area, but has relocated to Georgia during the pandemic. Even with this, she made working with her remotely a breeze. We will definitely fly her out and book her for our maternity shoot when it comes the time!

Andrea de Anda Photography was such a dream for us to have during our planning process, the day of, and after our wedding. She welcomed us via videoconference and made every effort to find out what was important to us, details about us as a couple, and share her process. She has multiple packages available and worked with us to swap an item as we had already completed our engagement shoot. Andrea sent us a lovely welcome package and kept in touch with us--she was always available to talk even while she was traveling. On the day of, I swear she managed to be in two places at once! All our special moments were captured as well as the candid moments we didn't see. After the wedding, we had the reveal at her studio and were blown away with the prints as well as digital slideshow. Our wedding album is also beautifully and thoughtfully laid out; she did a wonderful job of picking out photos that tell the story of the day. We love Andrea and her expertise!

I cannot stress enough how amazing Andrea is! I would give her 6 stars if I could! If you make one choice about a vendor for your wedding or engagement photos, make it this one, you will not regret it. I have had Andrea as my photographer for the past 2 years. She did an engagement photo shoot, an "elopement shoot" when we had to cancel our big wedding do to COVID, and finally our grand wedding once it was reschedules. I have never met a photographer who was more responsive and who loved their job more than Andrea. When I first booked Andrea she was in the San Jose area and we had booked her for our wedding in Oregon. Between booking and COVID, she had moved to Atlanta, but still made it out to Oregon for our wedding without a hitch. Andrea is a beautiful person and an amazing photographer. It is all the little details and touches that make her truly special. I cannot imagine myself ever using another photographer again, even if it means flying to Atlanta to do it! Book Andrea, you can't go wrong!!

Andrea exceeded our expectations! Not only does she have an incredible eye for photography, she practically coordinated our wedding as well (we're extremely grateful)! She even made sure I ate food with all the craziness happening! We had originally planned our wedding for June of 2020 and she stuck with us after postponing, even with life-changing events in not only ours but her own personal life. Many of our guests came up to us to tell us how wonderful she was. We got our phenomenal photos back in record time. Andrea was the absolute best decision we have made. We spent a lot of time searching for someone who felt like 'us'. Andrea understood our strange circumstances, went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, and was just a joy to work with. Andrea was the first vendor I connected with after getting engaged! From the moment she said hello at the booth from the wedding fair we went to, I knew we made the right decision! Our engagement pictures were so great and she helped us be more at ease with the process. Covid threw us all for a loop, but Andrea was always there to help us through it! Andrea is a phenomenal photographer! She photographed our elopement in the redwoods of Santa Cruz and took the most beautiful and magical photos. Before our elopement she asked us what shots we really wanted to get which I really appreciated. During our photo session she gave great directions, made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera, and was a lot of fun to work with. I highly recommend her services!

She is the calming presence you need on a hectic day. She has ALL the ideas and all the angles to make sure you look your best and have so many pictures to choose from. She works with light AND wind to make your pictures extra special. She gets all those special details that would otherwise be missed, and makes them the star. She parties right with you, your family and your friends on the dance floor to get those super fun, amazing photos that will bring back the most treasured memories of your day. And she'll even do all that with a broken toe. Legitimately, she showed up to our rehearsal dinner/wedding and was on her feet the entire time like nothing was different, all while wearing a boot. If that isn't commitment and dedication, I don't really know what is. You can absolutely tell this is Andrea's passion. She takes her craft seriously, and even does continuing education to get the latest and greatest photography techniques. We consider ourselves very very fortunate to have her to document our special day, but even more lucky to just know her. Her aura is a whole vibe that you must have around you. As my now-husband says, Andrea is a "beast" with a camera. She's also a beautiful soul, and that just puts her over the top for us. Previous: My fiance and I hired Andrea to be our photographer after I came across her both at a wedding expo. Not only did she have the most stunning and artistic photos (which drew me closer to the booth in the first place) her aura and authentic sweetness made me determined to convince my fiance that she was "the one", and boy was I right. Our epic engagement session included three locations and outfit changes, adventure, lots of fun and bonding. Not only was Andrea great at making us comfortable with getting our picture taken, but she made me feel like we were working with a close friend. She is truly the sweetest and most genuine soul. And the results of our engagement photos... in a word? STUNNING. Friends of mine were amazed at how Andrea was able to fully capture our love. I also have to mention how wonderful Andrea has been since the COVID-19 pandemic caused us to push back our wedding over a year. Andrea is absolutely amazing! My husband and I hired Andrea to take pictures for our Nepali, Hindu wedding weekend with 4 events. We don't live in California but our wedding events took place in the bay area. We were a little nervous about doing our wedding in a city we weren't familiar with. With multiple events to plan, Andrea helped us every step of the way through her reliable communication, strategic planning, strong organization, and reassurance. She is professional, creative, and a visionary. During our consultations, Andrea would always take time to walk through every detail of the events to make sure we were always on the same page. She created a space with energy that allowed for us to work together to share ideas and visions of how we wanted the pictures to turn out. This was all over phone and email conversation! She never rushed our meetings, made sure all our questions were answered, and our concerns were addressed. Since we couldn't meet in person regularly, Andrea took the initiative and time to scout some places we could take pictures and sent video messages so we had a very clear idea of what the venues would look like. This made things so much easier for us because it was one less thing we had to worry about. She also did a ton of research on Hindu weddings so she knew which moments to prioritize, especially during the ceremony. In person, she was calm, charismatic, and fully engaged with us. This was the case during our in-person meeting, and throughout the wedding. During the wedding weekend, Andrea arrived early to all of our events and stayed late if needed to ensure that she captured all of the special moments. She always checked in to make sure we were on schedule, was flexible when we needed to make last minute changes, and notified us before she wrapped up in case there was something specific we wanted. She gave my husband and I some poses to try, and same with our wedding party. Following her lead made things easier for us. She was kind to our family and friends, and was happy to take their photos with no hesitation. Lastly, Andrea returned our photos in a timely manner and they turned out great! We are so happy with them. Our entire experience from start to finish was seamless. We felt like Andrea was a part of our group of close friends with her presence and ability to connect with everyone. I cannot stress enough that you don't need to think twice when it comes to picking Andrea to document your special event!
