I am a bride who rarely wears makeup outside of a little blush and mascara and I never wear any skin makeup (foundation, concealer, etc.), I have freckles, and had never had my makeup done professionally! All of this being said, it was SUPER important to me to find an artist who could make me feel “myself” (very natural look that doesn’t cover my freckles and doesn’t FEEL like I’m wearing skin makeup). I looked through MANY makeup artists’ pages and once I saw Andrea Fontana Beauty’s page, I knew I wanted to book her!
I booked a makeup trial before our big day and my inspiration photos I brought to our makeup trial were from her page itself, which is really awesome to know my favorite makeup looks SHE had done. I don’t know much about makeup, so I wasn’t able to be too specific with what my vision was, but through a few of her photos from her page and talking through what I liked, she was able to perfectly curate what I was hoping for! By the time the wedding came around, we knew exactly the look we wanted to go for. Andrea arrived on-time, set up her very professional station equipped with her lighting, chair, and supplies, and she got right to work and stayed right on the schedule of who would go when that she and I had worked together before the big day!
Her airbrush makeup feels so incredibly light, it didn’t feel like I was wearing any skin makeup at all, which is exactly what I wanted! Even with airbrush foundation, I could see my freckles! I looked like ME! :) I wore false lashes on the wedding day that were really comfortable and Andrea really knew how to combine the lashes and the eyeshadow color to make my eyes POP! I didn’t even know how blue my eyes were until Andrea did my wedding makeup! <3 I felt so beautiful. One of my bridesmaids has beautiful green eyes and after she had her makeup done with Andrea, I told her that whatever she has on her eyes right now is HER color, because I had never seen her eyes that green!! Andrea really knows how to bring out natural beauty and emphasize what we naturally have!
Our wedding was on a pretty warm summer day in September, roughly 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and my makeup lasted the entire night through lots of dancing and moving around. By the end of the night, I wasn’t even itching to get my makeup off, it really felt that comfortable and light. I have very sensitive skin that breaks out really easily with different skincare/makeup products, and my skin was COMPLETELY happy with me the next day! No breakouts or irritation which really says ALOT with how particular my skin is.
On top of Andrea’s MAGIC she works in the beauty chair, she is also incredibly warm, friendly, and personable. She makes every person who sits in her chair feel like a FRIEND. Multiple of my bridal party members mentioned how kind and lovely she was and how great having Andrea there with us doing our makeup made our wedding morning through her laughs and conversations! I would highly, highly suggest booking Andrea Fontana Beauty for your wedding makeup!

takes the time to get to know you, your skincare routine, and what sort of makeup you're comfortable with on a daily basis so she can build a look that's unique to you. As someone who doesn't wear much makeup day-to-day, I was really nervous I wouldn't recognize myself on my wedding day, but Andrea created the PERFECT look with me in my trial and I felt GORGEOUS on my wedding day. I was also really nervous about airbrush makeup, but Andrea took the time to meet with me, educate me about it, and answer all my questions. She is such a magician that she drew eyebrows on my mom, who'd lost her eyebrows to chemo, from scratch. They looked so real and normal. She made my mom look and feel normal for the first time in months, and that's a gift I'll never forget. I'm so happy I went with Andrea. Everyone's makeup was flawless and lasted all day, even in some rain. She's also just such a wonderful person and will make getting ready that much more fun on your big day! I could go on and on. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about all things skin-care (aka do a trial a couple months before the wedding so she can tell you how to prep with your meals as well as your topical skin products). She's fantastic at having the makeup accentuate the person and using different styles to get the effect you want. The most wonderful thing is that she somehow got all of us to look like the best versions of ourselves using our natural beauty, while not looking over-done. She also covered up a large scar on my now mother-in-law's arm, and I think it made her night to not have that visible. She's professional, efficient, and clearly loves what she does.
