Andrea was so wonderful to work with and captured the most beautiful moments for us on our big day! Due to COVID, we had to shuffle all our initial wedding plans around, but Andrea was so accommodating, supportive and kind throughout the entire process. We are grateful to have worked with her and will treasure our pictures forever!

Andrea has worked with many of our dearest friends and family, so we knew in choosing her we were in good hands…but it was her stunning work that set her apart and sealed the decision for us. We were after a photographer that didn’t just take pictures – but someone who told stories through photographs. And that’s exactly what she does. In Andrea we found a brilliant documentarian and artist who was interested in knowing who my partner and I are and what we were after. We had meetings to vision-set, plan, and strategize our shoots – where found Andrea to be a partner in bringing our dream to life, but always with sound counsel on how to do it best. When selecting a photographer is important to feel like you’re on the same page – it’s an added bonus that Andrea is a delight to be around! When we first mentioned the idea of doing our engagement shoot in New York City, where my husband and I met and fell in love, Andrea was all in! We flew there on a cool November weekend and took pictures all over town for many hours on a Saturday. Andrea deftly managed crowds, traffic, multiple locations, intense wind, and two NOVICE subjects, getting beautiful and meaningful shots along the way. A huge thank you to her awesome husband for all he did along this adventure! When our wedding day came – Andrea’s years of experience and well-honed craft went to work again. She and her second photographer were stealth-like in their ability to be everywhere, quietly capturing moments that we will cherish forever. They identified beautiful lighting and settings that encapsulated the day. They took shots of all the little details we worked so diligently on to make the experience special for our guests. They helped put a nervous but happy bride and groom at ease. They made our moms feel special, and the kids feel comfortable. They painted a portrait of our happiest day in photos – all while letting us take time to enjoy it (not spend all of it posing for pictures). We have a catalog of photos that show the light, love, family and happiness of our wedding. We’re forever fans of Andrea. Her expertise, vision, kindness, and talent surpassed our expectations and beautifully documented our dreams.

I wish I could give 10 stars because Andrea is amazing and we loved working with her!! We used her for 2 engagement sessions and our wedding and she knocked it out of the park. We felt so comfortable with her and she made the whole day seamless. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else for such a special day.

Andrea is amazing!! She worked with our budget and made sure we had a package that was best for us and made the most sense. She was very professional, yet laid back in the most comfortable and assuring way. We knew we had nothing to worry about with her in charge of capturing our day. She is so great and had such a wonderful energy... she made taking the pictures fun! Sure enough, we received SO many amazing and beautiful photos. I am so happy to say that Andrea photographed our engagement & wedding photos. I was initially drawn to Andrea's work because of the color and vibrancy of her photos! After meeting with her in person, my husband and I agreed that she was a great match for what we were looking for. Her photo packages are reasonably priced given the exceptional quality and attention to detail that she offers. She has a fun, upbeat personality and makes you feel very comfortable being photographed. I also love how laid back she is. I was impressed by how easily she worked with our wedding party and large extended family in order to get all of the shots needed in a specific time frame. I didn't end up booking a videographer and I was so happy to see that I didn't have to after looking back at all of the photos that were taken of our special day. She truly captured each moment. I feel like I'm reliving that day every time I look at our photos. I very highly recommend Andrea for your big day!

Andrea was amazing to work with on our wedding day! She made everything so easy and was able to capture the all the emotions and initiate moments of the day. I first met Andrea after she photographed our surprise proposal! I was overjoyed that she was able to capture such a wonderful and beautiful moment all while I was totally oblivious that we were being photographed the entire time! We did a short 1 hour photo session after the proposal and we just clicked with Andrea. She has such a fun/easy going personality and is so good about making you feel comfortable. She also has such a talent for capturing natural moments and getting amazing photos! After we got our photos from the proposal back I knew I wanted Andrea to capture our journey from proposal to engagement photos and capturing our wedding day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Andrea! On our wedding day she keeps things light/fun while still keeping things on schedule and giving good direction, especially necessary during family photos. We love all of the photos from our proposal, engagement and wedding. She is not only a incredibly talented photographer but a wonderful person! Andrea is by far the best photographer ever! She is very easy to get along with and makes everything very smooth. I was really nervous about picking a photographer and she made the choice really easy. She is very confident in her work and helps you feel confident in your self! I have always hated pictures of myself, but she blew it out of the water! I love every single one of my pictures and she does great at capturing every moment.

Wedding date has not happened yet however we got our Engagement photos back and I cannot wait until after the wedding to gloat about the amazing work Andrea did for us. I met Andrea years ago for a friend's senior photo shoot and again when I was in a wedding party for a wedding she photographed and was hooked on her ever since. My fiance is a typical guy of not wanting to take photos so we had no idea what to do and how to act. Andrea made it easy for him to be himself as much as possible with a camera in his face and he looks better than me in most of our pictures. Let's just say that opposed to others who might be researching and seeing posted client testimonials for prospective vendors, I had the opportunity to observe Andrea's work in two "try outs" when she captured both my sister's weddings in 2013 and 2018. From the moment we started wedding planning, there was no doubt in my mind that Andrea would be capturing our wedding memories! She does an incredible job of capturing the most important pieces of the day, but also including the subtle moments that can get overlooked by the bride and groom. Hiring Andrea for our wedding was the single best decision I made. She has an uncommon ability to put you right at ease, and this is coming from someone who is relatively camera shy. But it was so much fun working with her, and her pictures are so spontaneous and authentic. We absolutely loved them and I would hire her a million times over if I could!

Andrea did such a great job with our engagement and wedding pictures. Both sets of pictures turned out amazing. There are so many great pictures to choose from we definitely are having a hard time picking out a select few hang up around the house. Andrea was very professional and easy to work with. She got all of the shots that we wanted and some great candid ones also. She took the time to make sure that we were happy and did a great job of explaining the process and her thoughts as she took photos. We felt Andrea’s prices were very reasonable especially considering the level of service and quality of picture you get. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Andrea did a fabulous job at our wedding on 6/17/17! She arrived promptly on time and had such a great eye for which shots/angles would work best. My family and friends were really impressed with the quality of the photos. We will cherish these photos forever.

She does lovely traditional portraits but has an eye for the natural shots that are truly memorable. Truly an artist! She is a pleasure to work with, creative, and flexible. Also, if you're in the market for traditional photo albums, she got a nice selection. Honestly, I'd call Andrea for all our photo needs! We loved working with her!

I had admired Andrea's work prior to working with her, but after having her document our wedding day, I can now say she is a genius! A few years ago, long before I even met my husband, my dad gave me a bit of advice on wedding planning and budgeting, as I was having a cousin getting married soon. "Just make sure you put priority on photography and the honeymoon,". His reasoning for that was that a good photographer, which yes, can be a big chunk of a wedding budget, will not only give you QUALITY photos for this ONE day, but they will also cover it very thoroughly, catching the moments that you missed or had forgotten in the blur of the day. That's exactly what we got from Andrea Nigh Photography. I have been fortunate to see Andrea cover weddings and family photo sessions over the years, and always knew I wanted her for my wedding. My reasons : 1. Quality of the photos. Andrea takes beautiful photos capturing little moments very artistically without losing the emotion of the moment. 2. She's friendly! My husband and I are NOT comfortable in front of the camera, but she's wonderful at getting you to loosen up - especially for those engagement photos. 3. Consistency in her work. Like I said, I've know her a while and seen her cover weddings of both friends and family. Everyone was happy with the outcome. 4. Flexibility - My husband and I were definitely working with a tight budget for the wedding, so we did the a la carte option. Eventually we will purchase an album, so it's nice that we're able to go back to her at any time for any additional purchases. 5. Experience - She's shot a lot of weddings, so she knows the questions to ask that you likely haven't thought of. I couldn't be happier with the work that Andrea has done for us and I definitely look forward to working with her in the future.

Andrea did an outstanding job photographing my wedding on June 6, 2015. She captured all the shots I'd hoped for and more! Her bubbly but professional personality is exactly what any bride would want standing by her side on her special day. She made me laugh constantly during the posed pictures but almost became invisible otherwise. I was amazed again once we received the photos. We love all of them. The only problem is choosing 200 we like best to put in our album (although we will always have the drive full of all images). I would and will recommend her to everyone. Finding a wedding photographer was one of the most important things for me as a bride. I wanted someone who was professional but fun and spontaneous. I needed someone willing to travel to the middle-of-nowhere, Missouri. I also wanted the photographer to have a great eye for the small details that make a wedding day special. I found all of my requirements and more with Andrea Nigh Photography. Andrea was excited to shoot our country themed engagement session full of John Deere tractors, dirt roads and boots. We loved her carefree style of capturing moments instead of fake poses! She has a way of making every photo look like a work of art! I’m extremely happy that Andrea captured the most significant day in our lives as Mr. and Mrs. Leimkuehler! When I look back on my photos, I get to relive the best day of our lives over and over again.
