The ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and performance were top notch and the level of professionalism and communication throughout the process was superb! The Andrew Blake Band kept the party going throughout our entire reception. We received so many compliments from guests after our wedding. The dance floor was packed the whole night. We booked the Andrew Blake Band for our ceremony and reception. The violin & piano duo was the perfect addition to our ceremony. Elegant and classy! Andrew and his band were a joy to work with! Highly recommend if you want your guests to dance the night away.

Andrew and crew were PERFECT for our wedding. The planning leading up to the event was seamless, the portal kept us on track. The MC services were great the night of and the band kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night with a quality mix of fun dancing songs and nice slow songs. Everyone kept talking about how great a live band was to have and how fantastic they were - from our friends and family to the restaurant staff. Highly recommend!

What an incredible night that was made perfect by the Andrew Blake Band! Probably the best compliment for any band at a wedding is a full dance floor the entire night and smiles on a lot of faces. We can’t say enough good things about the Andrew Blake Band!! We had them at our wedding in October 2023 and they exceeded all expectations. From the beginning they were great communicating with us – going so far as inviting us to hear them play live at a performance well before we even selected them as our vendor. They have a huge list of songs to pick from and they sounded amazing at our wedding. My biggest fear in selecting a wedding band was choosing a band that wanted to make it about their performance and not about the wedding party and guests. For others reading this with that same concern – you don’t have to worry about that with Andrew Blake. He and his band did a phenomenal job reading the room and focusing on the bride and groom. They kept everyone dancing out on the dance floor – even once recognizing when a song didn’t resonate with people, they smoothly pivoted to another song that everyone rushed back to the dance floor for. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding was hiring the Andrew Blake Band. Working with Andrew was great- he is professional, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our day special and bring our vision to fruition. On top of the seamless interactions with Andrew, the band’s performance was beyond our wildest dreams. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night- even during the breaks; they DJ’ed music that we loved and kept the party going. We opted to have the lighting package and it transformed our venue to another level. They also provided music for the cocktail hour, dinner, and live music for our ceremony (acoustic guitar & a violin) - all of it was truly remarkable. Almost a year later and everyone is still talking about how amazing the band was at our wedding. Andrew and his band are AMAZING! I saw them perform at a friends wedding a few years ago, and I knew I wanted them to perform at my wedding. And a few weeks ago at my wedding, they delivered again. Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night even when the DJ was playing during the breaks. They also learned a song to play for my husband’s college and all our friends loved it!! We got SO many compliments from our guests! They truly made our wedding so amazing!!

Andrew Blake and his bandmates put on the best live performance I and many others have ever experienced at a wedding, period. They are true professionals. We hired Andrew to perform at our wedding that occurred earlier this May in SW Michigan. Over 2 weeks later, my wife and I still smile when conversing with others at just how amazing their presentation and music was. The music was superb, we got to request over 20+ songs which they played throughout the night and they even let us request some on-demand. Instruments included brass, strings, piano, drums, vocals and awesome lighting. The whole shabang! Andrew and his team think and take care of everything, the setup, take down, even the sound engineering of the space they are performing in. They also know how to read a room. It went off without a hitch, which in today's world is RARE. Hiring Andrew and his team was the best thing we could have done for our wedding, hands down the best money we spent. Their music was the true life of the party and we could not have had a better time. 12/10 recommend. You won't regret it.

This band was truly AMAZING from start to finish. Everyone, and I mean everyone, told us how amazing your band was. Andrew Blake Band was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Having a band over a DJ was pretty much the only thing my husband requested for our wedding, but as I began to research bands, I hit a lot of dead ends. We had a set amount of money to put towards our band, but I was finding that other bands I contacted would push me to spend even more. When I reached out to Andrew Blake, he could not have been kinder or more understanding. He has an incredible passion for what he does and reassured us that they would deliver no matter what "package" we bought for our day. We booked his 9-piece band for an extremely competitive price, and felt very confident after reading reviews and watching videos of them performing online. But wow, once they actually performed at our reception, we were blown away! The band has an incredible energy, knows how to curate songs to a certain crowd, and kept everyone dancing all night. This is not an exaggeration — we were blessed with a PACKED dance floor at our wedding! In addition to that, the band did a great job DJing our cocktail hour and dinner with ambient music. And Meghan was a fantastic MC, with so much enthusiasm and energy to get our party started. Could not recommend ABB more!

We have had nonstop people telling us how amazing the Andrew Blake Band did, and everyone said it was one of the best aspects of the reception!! I don't think I ever left the dance floor because of what an amazing job they did. I can't thank the band enough for not only doing an amazing job the day of, but also for being very helpful throughout the planning process. I may be a tough customer. Having played in a Chicago show band for years, I had high expectations. My wife and daughters are singers and musicians. Andrew Blake and the band exceeded our expectations. They sounded incredible, and Andrew himself dealt with a couple of challenges quickly and professionally. We heard nothing but raves about the band, and the dancing never stopped (even during the band breaks)! Megan was a great MC and singer. Simone -- incredible. They handled a wide variety of music, from classic rock to current dance hits with ease. I loved the real drums and distinct lack of tracks. Andrew also handled sound at the outdoor ceremony. All in all, we were very pleased.

I can’t say enough about The Andrew Blake Band and his team!! Working with Andrew from the beginning was such an easy process, I knew instantly I wouldn’t have to worry about this part of the wedding because he was so professional and knew exactly what he was doing!! As a fellow wedding vendor (planner/coordinator) I wanted to post about my experience with Andrew and his team. I worked with the Andrew Blake band on 8/21, as my the couple I was coordinating for hired them for their Big Day. His entire team was incredibly professional. After a couple of run arounds with inclement weather for the ceremony/cocktail hour, Andrew and his team were flexible and had a positive attitude throughout the entire evening. Megan who was the emcee and also a member of the band was exceptionally organized and ensured that the flow of the evening (introductions/blessings/toasts) went smoothly. I don’t normally post reviews for other vendors, however this was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a fellow wedding vendor. Do not hesitate to hire the Andrew Blake Band for your wedding - they are organized, professional, flexible, work well with all involved in the day, and also keep the dance floor full all night long.

What an amazing night thanks to an AMAZING BAND. I wish I could give more stars to the Andrew Blake Band!! Wow Factor is right. Days after the wedding, my phone was blowing up with comments on how much fun everyone had and that NOBODY left the dance floor the entire night – me included! This is reason that my wife and I insisted that we were going to have a live band vs. a DJ for my daughter's wedding. We just think weddings were meant to be full on celebrations that include a live band. What we got was beyond expectations! It really felt that everyone in the band was having as much fun as everyone on the dance floor and we could feel it in the music and the tone that was set. They are amazing musicians and I hope to see them again. We were also provided with a pianist for the session and a 3 piece ensemble for our cocktail reception. Everyone hit a home run this night!! If I get a chance to book these folks again, I am!!!

Andrew Blake band kept the dance floor packed all night long! During the planning process Andrew was the easiest vendor to work with! He sent over a song list for us to pick from and we also picked our DJ song that played on the break! You will not be disappointed by choosing this band! They definitely made the wedding great!

Andrew Blake is a pure professional. From the booking process to the performance, and everything in between, he nailed it. He was our MC for the night and did a great job with that also. I always told my children that I would pay to have a band at their wedding. I left the choice up to my son and daughter-in-law. They listened to several bands and then selected The Andrew Blake Band for their June 22, 2019 wedding. They were absolutely amazing from the music during cocktail to the full dance floor the entire evening! If you are looking for an amazing band, Andrew Blake is it! Andrew and his band absolutely crushed our wedding. We got more compliments on the band than on any other aspect of the day, specifically with regards to what a great singer Andrew is. He and his team are very talented at finding the right rhythm to get people out on the dance floor and keep them there. The horns players even came out to the dance floor as things got rocking which was so engaging for our guests. We feel lucky to have landed Andrew and would recommend him strongly to anyone.

We can't thank Andrew Blake Band enough for putting on such a GREAT show at our wedding last Saturday the 28th at Saddle & Cycle. Everyone was having a blast dancing (even those that often sit on the sidelines) and we heard praises of the music all throughout the week (especially the horn section coming down onto the dance floor!) If I have to choose the single best recommendation I made during my wedding, it was hiring Andrew Blake Band. They were PHENOMENAL. Their energy, sound, professionalism, interactions with the guests, set list - everything - was perfect and resulted in a jam packed dance floor all night. On more than one occasion, Andrew and members of the band came out to the dance floor. On one occasion, the brass section found me during (literally) the only time I sat down, pulled up chairs, and played directly to me. That was an absolute highlight of the weekend for me. Andrew’s masterful MCing, poise in front of the crowd, and ability to adapt on the fly were all superb. The band’s professionalism and experience meant this was a completely stress-free evening for me, my husband, and our families. That allowed us to concentrate on having a great time with our friends and family and for that, we are so grateful. We had an endless stream of people come up to us and comment about the band. Not only were guests massively impressed by them as a group, but so many people pointed out the talent of everyone individually. Andrew Blake Band set the tone and the energy of the night.

Don't even know where to begin, they were amazing!! My wedding was on October 6, 2018 and we had Andrew Blake Band as our live band at our reception. The atmosphere they provide is just awesome! The dance floor was packed all night. The servers at the venue said they have never seen the floor that packed at a wedding. The were personal and came onto the dance floor and sang, dance and played instruments including everyone. After the wedding I received numerous compliments saying that was the best wedding band they have ever seen! I had family members and friends state how they've never seen some people dance and that that person never left the dance floor that night.I have been to a lot of weddings in the past and can say that they truly were the best and it be a mistake for others not to book them! The Andrew Blake Band played our wedding on June 16, 2018, this was the BEST decision that we made in planning our wedding. The Band came in and blew our guests away! EVERYONE that attended commented on the excellence of the band and the fun that was had. They had our entire reception on the dance floor for the entire night. We paid for the brass section and it didn't disappoint. What a talented group of musicians! This band was worth every penny and I will hire them again in the future for any other event that may come up (Corporate event, Private party). Andrew was incredibly helpful with use of his Audio/Visual equipment, and he also did an amazing job as our MC and host. Andrew even had the band learn our song and allowed me to come on stage and sing to my bride, INCREDIBLE! When I originally asked if it would be possible, he encouraged me and mentioned that if I had any other talented folks who would like to do a number with the band, he would be happy to accomodate. Definitely, a one of a kind experience. The YouTube videos don't do the Andrew Blake Band justice. I highly recommend this band. I know this review sounds like I'm related, alas, but no. You must hire Andrew Blake Band for your wedding! We had the absolute pleasure of having Andrew Blake Band play at our wedding this past Saturday. From the moment I emailed Andrew, I was very impressed with his professionalism and passion for music. We went to see one of ABB's shows, and we were sold within the first 5 minutes. Andrew personally was so easy to work with; he included planning forms that made it so simple to plan an awesome wedding! When the day finally arrived, Andrew and his band kept almost ALL 260 of our guests on the dance floor all night. From our entire group of friends, or parents friends, our families (including 90+ year olds); all were having a great time. Any time we walked by guests, they RAVED about Andrew Blake Band. ABB made our wedding the best wedding that many of our guests have ever been to! Hi Andrew, It has been a couple of weeks since our February 24th wedding and I can not thank you and your band enough for such an amazing night! As a bride, you worry that you will spend too much time worrying about details and not enough time enjoying your own party. As a music fan, you worry about cheesy wedding songs and obnoxious DJ’s. Well, neither of these two were the case!!! I had a blast the entire evening and you and your band had everything to do with that. The sound was amazing and the band had an overall professional and fun presence. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how much they loved you guys. You truly made our reception a very special evening that will be remembered for years to come which is what every couple hopes for when they decide to have that extra something that a live band brings to a wedding. I also want to thank you for your song choices. I was a little worried in my own selection of songs, concerned that I was leaving people out. I was so happy to see many of my aunts and uncles out dancing to songs I would not have thought of, but it just goes to show that if you trust professionals to do their craft it will all work out. "Wow, the best ever!" is absolutely right! From start to finish, Andrew was truly wonderful to work with. He was an excellent communicator, which is BIG. The Andrew Blake Band WOWed the crowd and, of course, myself (the bride) and my husband. It's nice to write "husband." Ha. Ha. I should mention that we had Eddie as a pianist for our ceremony and he was EXCEPTIONAL! He was even able to learn at least one song pretty last-minute. "Jubel" by Klingande. It sounded amazing! He played this song after we were announced husband and wife and kissed. It was perfect for walking down the aisle together. I LOVED everything about Eddie and am soooo happy we chose to have a live pianist for our ceremony. A beautiful addition. Ok, back to Andrew. Truly just couldn't' have asked for anyone better. The band performed our first dance song perfectly and this was important because it was choreographed. I just can't get over how amazing the vocals were on all of the songs. We went with the 9-piece band. Having the bigger band is definitely worth it...added vocals and the HORNS! We were even surprised at the very end of the night when the three horn players came down onto the dance floor to play. AWESOME! Just a magical night that I know I will never ever forget! Now, if only the Andrew Blake Band stays strong for ten more years...we would definitely have them play for us again at our 10-year anniversary party. I really can't say enough POSITIVE things about them. Spend money on your entertainment for sure because it is so worth it in the end. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, said the band was really REALLY good. That's always good to hear from your guests. My mom's brother is in a band and he was impressed. I know some guests even said that they thought it was the real artist singing a song, as in the songs were recorded. If that isn't a compliment to the vocalists, then I don't know what is. The range the vocalists could do was beyond words. The band made the night the best it could be. The dance floor seemed a little too small because everyone wanted to DANCE! We even had our three dogs with us towards the end of the night and I think the band really got a kick out of that. They played "Who Let The Dogs Out" for just a few seconds and it was pretty funny. Close to five months later and this night is still being talked about. I just can't believe how fast the night went. I wish I remembered all of the songs the band was able to play. I had a pretty strict list of songs (for more like a half a dozen weddings) that I preferred and, for the most part, the band stuck to those songs. I know I am not the easiest to work with because I am very particular about details (big and small), but Andrew was able to make me happy. Having the DJ play songs during the band breaks was great because that way I was able to get in some of the songs that I know the band couldn't play, like "World, Hold On" by Bob Sinclar, which is one of my favorite songs. I had the best time and the photos and videos prove just that. I am ALWAYS smiling and laughing and that is what I wanted my wedding night to be all about. I just wish it didn't all go by so fast. Everyone always tells you that it does, and, well, it does. We would have paid more (a lot more) to have the band keep playing after midnight. THANK YOU Andrew and Eddie and the rest of the band. I could go on and on, but I am just incredibly impressed by everything that you did to make my night so perfect. THANK YOU again. WOW!!!

We attended a wedding with the Andrew Blake Band and they were AMAZING! Such a variety of music, and talented musicians! We were dancing all night and had a great time! I would definitely recommend this band for any event!!!

As the daughter, niece, great-niece and now wife of a musician, we knew we had to find the perfect band for our wedding! To say we had high expectations is an understatement! We came across the Andrew Blake band a few years before we were even engaged. When our time came to start planning, we knew we had to at least see what they had to offer. Of course, one of our biggest concerns was being able to afford a band. When we talked to Andrew, we quickly learned there were so many package options, at various price points, that we were able to tailor exactly what we wanted! As the bride, I had several very specific requests for how I envisioned our reception. When I asked for the stars and the moon, Andrew Blake delivered the universe! From unique family songs to surprises for our guest, Andrew made sure our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more! The caliber of musicianship, their stage presence, their interaction and ability to keep everybody entertained and on the dance floor made our wedding one to not be forgotten. We got married in May and have friends and family still asking about the band, saying how much fun they had and how packed the dance floor was....all night long! I simply can not say enough amazing things! The Andrew Blake band was worth every penny and I can't imagine our wedding without them!!

Sharing our special day with Andrew Blake Band, was one of THE BEST decisions we made as a couple. Their flexibility, genuine love for what they do as a group, and high energy put me at ease during the planning process and made every single one of my guests enjoy the day. Andrew listened to all our concerns and did not let one of them slip through the cracks. He worked with me to create a set list based on the type of party (dancing the whole time!!!) that we wanted to have. (I even had several guests request for a copy of it!). The band was high energy, and VERY GOOD at what they do. We had a dance floor so full that the vendor had to move tables for everyone to fit. I told him that I was afraid of getting stuck in the middle of a dance circle, and when one formed he sent the three horns (which I strongly recommend adding to the package) onto the dance floor and people got so excited from it that the circle just closed in on itself! He played a special song for my dad that I requested (38 Special), and he made sure my dad was on the dance floor / had an amazing guitar solo while my dad played the "air guitar" on the dance floor. The entire day was absolutely wonderful, and Andrew was an amazing "MC." A month after the wedding I'm still hearing from the guests how absolutely amazing the band was!

Andrew Blake Band is outstanding! They preformed at our daughter and son-in-law's wedding on October 1, 2016 at The Lehmann Mansion. They had all generations up off their chairs and on the dance floor dancing all night long! And, I mean ALL NIGHT LONG!!! All of our guests had a wonderful time and are still talking about the great band! Every member of the Band is an extremely talented, gifted artist! They have great sounding instrumentals and vocals! Andrew made the night memorable in every way! He is very professional! Andrew Blake Band is also very versatile and accommodating to tailor and personalize your event! It's obvious that the band loves what they do as they also have fun! We all had such a great time dancing to their music!!!

AWESOME!! We recently had the Andrew Blake Band perform at our wedding, with a total of 10 band members and they were worth every penny. We chose songs from their lengthy repertoire list, and they put together a set list that appealed to both young and old guests, keeping the dance floor full the entire night. So many of our guests complimented us on the band and they completely exceeded our expectations. Andrew and his band were professional, easy to work with and added that special touch to our wedding day that a DJ could not have achieved. Andrew added distinct personal touches during our introductions, making announcements, during our first dance, and keeping the night flowing well. last night, September 24th, we had our beautiful wedding. Everything went perfectly and there were many things that people could've talked about the next day. The ONE thing that everyone kept bringing up to us was how the Andrew Blake Band was so amazing. They kept our dance floor rocking all night both young and old. We went with the 9 piece band and it was definitely the right decision. They were all amazing musicians and the singers voices were simply beautiful. From day one Andrew was very on top of everything. He made us feel comfortable with song choices, planning of the timeline and we could tell he was a great guy that was going to be a lot of fun. My wife was able to meet him ahead of time and watch one of his shows and we instantly knew that that band was the right choice. The night of his crew came in early to set up the stage and it really added a wonderful element to the aesthetics of the room. Andrew did a great job as the emcee leading up to the band starting. Then the music started...EVERY person couldn't resist but to get up and dance. For the next few hours the seats were empty but the dance floor was full. It was truly the party of the year and we owe a lot of that to this wonderful band. Poor Andrew probably got more than he bargained for when the bridal party and other guests joined the band on stage and started singing along with them. I then "borrowed" the microphone and started chants of "One More Song" ...three different times. They obliged and we were so thankful because it was a night nobody wanted to end. When they were breaking down the stage my mother in law told me we didn't get to dance together. Andrew hopped off stage with his guitar and played us a slow song as we danced after everyone had left the building. It's moments like that that truly separate a great band from the BEST band. Thank you so much to the 9 of you for making our night more magical than we even dreamt up in our heads. I will reccomend you to anyone and everyone and I know all of my guests will as well. Awesome band. Very professional with great stage presents. Great mix of music. Highly recommended.

I will start by saying that Andrew and his musicians are extremely talented. They sound amazing, and the lead vocalist woman we had for the night was also talented. But how they sounded wasn't the issue, it's that they played nothing we asked for, after confirming with them that they would. When we first spoke with Andrew before booking I asked for a list of songs he could play & he reassured me that he played such variety it didn't feel right to restrict it all to a setlist, as anything we wanted he could handle. So we booked him. Two months before our wedding he sent a form for us to fill out: 30 songs that were must play, 15 songs that were play if have time, 10 songs that were do not play. And it was a really large library, I was totally encouraged. Then we chatted with him via phone a few weeks later, right before our wedding, I specifically asked, "did you take a look at our list, we want to make sure you can play what we're thinking live, or let's talk through it to find what works." He said, and I quote, "this is a setlist I would pick myself." Okay, great, we're on the same page. Come wedding night & he opens with a slow song that wasn't on any list..okay I think give it time. He then proceeds to play a 15 minute Madonna compilation— I didn't have one Madonna song on the play list. And that's how the rest of the evening went. I mean, on my list were songs like "Shout" and "ain't no mountain high enough," wedding classics that I'm assuming most wedding bands can play. I went up twice, as the bride, and said please play more pop or motown, instead of ONLY 80s rock and 70's music. So his response was to play "Celebrate" by Kool & The Gang. The only time he "played" what I asked was on the band's two breaks, and he plugged a computer in. This group is talented but I feel really deceived by the entire process. Music was hugely important to me, and believe me we still had a blast, but I'd only recommend if you want 80's music.

Andrew Blake Band was amazing! The band kept the dance floor going all night and played a great variety of music. Their set was really well put together and they even kept people on the dance floor during their break. They were also incredibly flexible throughout the evening and were able to adapt to last minute changes during the reception.
