Andy was so easy to work with before the wedding and during the wedding. He provided us a link to submit our information, wishes for the reception and to list the music that we wanted to hear during cocktails, dinner and on the dance floor. He also provided uplighting that was suitable for both the dinner atmosphere and then later for the dancing. Andy followed our events timeline and followed through with our request for no line dancing music. Andy was fun, kind and very professional. I would definitely hire him again!

Andy did a wonderful job DJ-ing our wedding. He worked with us to play the style of music we wanted and honored our requests both for most wanted and do not play. He had such a great energy that kept the dance floor alive til the very end of the night. So glad we went with DJ Andy Booth for our wedding DJ!

Andy did an excellent job DJing our wedding, both with curating our playlist and with managing the music during the event. He provided really helpful tools for telling him about our musical taste and absolutely nailed the selection, working music we like into the dinner music that wouldn't have worked as well on the dance floor. It really felt like every song he played was one of our favorites! The event was held at the Carnegie Museum in the Music Hall Foyer, which is a large marble space that can be challenging for some DJs to work with. This wasn't a problem for Andy, though; the music sounded great all night long, and some of our favorite memories of the night were made thanks to him keeping the energy up while people danced. I can't recommend Andy enough!

Andy was such a joy to work with! I believe a lot of people think that a DJ is just someone who plays music for your guests to dance to at the end of the night but they are SO much more than that. Andy and his team helped orchestrate the entire day of events at our wedding. Andy made sure that our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all ran smoothly. He and his team ensured that every part of the ceremony and reception were announced and occurred/stayed on time throughout the evening!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST DJ!!!!!! Our main goal was to have FUN at our wedding, and typically your DJ is the one who helps with that... well let me tell you.. our dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT LONG. My 92 year old Nuni was out on the dance floor showing off her moves! We had SO many people coming up to us and complimenting the DJ and the music. DJ Andy really listened to us in what we wanted. My husband and I are very into EDM music and Andy was able to tie in our favorite music all through out the night. His platform is extremely easy to use with a ton of music selections. His right hand woman Mandy was so awesome too, super fun and super bubbly!

Andy was the BEST DJ you could ever hire for your wedding. He kept our friends and family on the dance floor all night (even family members I have never in my LIFE seen on a dance floor), and cultivated the best playlist for our wedding that we could have asked for. I've known Andy a long time, and he is a stand up human being as well as a wonderful person to help you make your wedding day as special as possible. My wife and I are so grateful that he was able to celebrate with us, and he added so much joy and fun to our day. All of our friends and family keep raving about how fun our wedding was, and we definitely have Andy to thank for that. He worked with us through the pandemic on moving our date, keeping us updated, and making sure we were ready to go as the new date approached. Also, as a personal note, if you are looking for an incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly DJ, Andy is also your guy for that. He's the best all around.

Andy gave us the most amazing wedding experience we could have ever asked for. Our friends were on the dance floor ALL NIGHT and everyone continues to tell us how much fun they had at our wedding. Andy and his assistant Amanda captured many videos and photos to help us remember our night, and kept the dance floor busy with perfect song selections to fit the mood. The process for selecting songs was very user friendly, and Andy helped us curate our cocktail hour and dinner songs to be exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking for a wedding DJ, look no further!

WE LOVE ANDY! Andy didn't only perfect our playlist from the start, but his system of organizing and choosing music with the couple is amazing. He offers a clear, user-friendly process that allows the couple to be as specific or general as they want to be with their music choices and he has SO MANY OPTIONS! He has a true talent for music and reading the crowd as he's DJ-ing. I'd recommend him to anyone, but especially those who are looking for a memorable and fun time :)

Good luck finding a wedding DJ better than Andy Booth. I’m not sure it can be done. He is amazing. I don’t think I can adequately describe how important he was to making our wedding a beautiful and joyful event... Andy provided fantastic music throughout the night, but more importantly he created the warm and fun atmosphere we really wanted to achieve. And this was no easy feat, as we requested multiple changes to DJ announcements and the reception schedule in the days before the wedding and even during the reception. He just rolled with the punches! We had a wide range of ages at our wedding and he managed to get everyone dancing. In fact, staff at the venue told us they had never seen kids have such a good time at an event. And the adults did their best to keep up with the kids. At one point, some of my goofy friends requested the “Thank You for Being a Friend” theme song from The Golden Girls. Andy managed to find it and play it. You could probably hear the excited shrieks from miles away. We all had so much fun. And Andy was a huge part of making that happen!

For those of you on the wedding DJ search, search no more. Andy was the DJ for our wedding reception at the Fairmont Pittsburgh and exceeded our expectations. Andy was professional from the start, a great listener and not remotely pushy, while very willing to share his perspective which comes from his vast experience in the industry. While shopping around for a DJ, we had a brief call to go over his services, availability and pricing. My husband and I placed a high priority on the music at our reception so we wanted to be sure we would find a DJ that could understand what we wanted. Andy understood and executed perfectly. Andy’s website was easy to use to capture our day of timeline, must play, maybe and no play lists. Andy even put together a mix of two songs my father/daughter dance (which turned out absolutely perfect). On the day of, he orchestrated the planned timeline as discussed and adjusted where necessary. I didn’t have any worries the day of my wedding and it was in large part because my reception was in Andy’s hands. Thank you so much Andy - you’ve got a gift and thank you for being there with us on our big day!

Andy was an amazing DJ for our wedding reception. He was super helpful and responsive from our first call until days after the wedding was already over. My fiance and I had a lot of specific songs we wanted played and a wide range of genres we wanted to hit. Andy covered it all for us. His planning tools were great and we really appreciated getting to categorize songs based on what we wanted to hear. Additionally, Andy was more than willing to add songs to his catalog from our lesser-known requests and made sure they got played. Lastly, and perhaps my favorite part, per my request Andy kept track of the songs he played at our wedding, in order. I now get to create a playlist of our exact wedding lineup to enjoy for years to come. Thank you Andy!!!

If you want a DJ to get people on the dance floor and keep them there this is your guy. If you want a DJ to understand the kind of music you want without having to put in a ton of effort in making playlist? He is your guy!!! Andy was amazing and I felt confident that everyone would have a great time.

I wish I could give Andy more than 5 stars because he deserves it! Andy was the DJ at my wedding July 15th, 2017 and he kept people dancing all night long. From the emails to our meetings, he was always professional. Andy really helped us create the fun wedding reception we wanted! If you are looking for a DJ, I wouldn't recommend anyone other than Andy!!!

My husband and I cannot give Andy enough stars. He is the absolute best. He is professional and very experienced. After our meeting with him to go over the timeline and any other details for the wedding, we both felt so at ease and comfortable; we knew then that we had made the best decision! We absolutely loved Andy Booth! He let my fiancé (now husband) pick nearly all of the songs that were played without appearing like his ego was wounded or that he knew better. We enjoyed meeting him, he is laid back, fun, has a great knowledge of music and a lot of experience. We were so comfortable after meeting him that we didn't even submit a "no play" list. He understood what we wanted and made it happen. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

Andy Booth was amazing to work with! From the moment I contacted him to inquire about potentially booking him for our wedding, I was amazed at his professionalism and apparent love for what he does. He was quick to respond to my inquiries in a personal way rather than the stock email responses I got from all of my other DJ inquiries. He ensured we met a few weeks before our day to review our plans for the evening of our reception. I left that meeting feeling certain we had chosen the right DJ! He assured me that he was not only there to keep the evening flowing with music but that he would ensure that all of the small details, like the cake placement or the order of dances, cake cutting, etc. was as I had requested. He was considerate of the timing of the reception and always ensured that I knew what to expect next. The best part of our reception was when he surprised us with an extra song at the very end, which my husband and I danced to as everyone watched and then our bridal party finished the song by crowding us and giving us a giant hug. I've literally never felt more love or happiness, and it was all because he played that last song. Andy captured video and photos of some of the best parts of our reception and even emailed them to us the next day! I cannot say enough great things about Andy Booth and can only hope that he DJs the next wedding I attend!

I had worked with many DJs in my job as an event planner, and when my fiance and I were planning it was a no-brainer to go to Andy Booth and Jeremy Ganss. Andy was helpful and responsive during our planning. His collection is incredible and he pulled out great songs to play from years ago through today's hits, based on just a few we listed so he could get our style. He is professional and played music that our guests loved. His announcements were professional and only as needed, and he guided us through the night without a hitch. My dad appreciated all the coordinating that Andy did. When something special was coming up, Andy would find those involved and give us a head's up and some instructions. My mom adored him and so did all our other guests. I couldn't leave the dance floor because he kept playing great music!

My husband and I had been to a wedding the Andy DJ'd at and it turned out to be one of best weddings we had ever been to. We were quick to contact Andy when we got engaged last year and he was quick and attentive to get us a quote and get us booked. We only had to meet with Andy once before the wedding to finalize the details. He had form online that was very helpful for choosing our songs and laying out the schedule for the reception. We also used Andy for uplighting to add something extra to our ballroom. The lighting was perfect and added that "extra" something to the look and the feel of the whole room. The ceremony and reception were flawless and moved along very nicely. Andy was very energetic and in tune with what our friends wanted to hear. We had the time of our lives dancing the night away and didn't want to leave when it was all over. We would highly recommend Andy to any couples looking for a contemporary and modern DJ!

What else can we say other than Andy was amazing. We knew from the moment met him that he is the kind of guy you want to hang around. My husband and I are very particular about music and have strong opinions so we were worried we wouldn't find anyone that could cater to our style and still keep the crowd moving. He represented us perfectly and made our night unforgettable. My groom and I kept saying to each other 'great song'. He knew exactly what to play to cater to our crowd and kept everyone dancing all night. Andy did the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and it all went just as we had hoped. Andy was always great at returning our calls and emails and very flexible with all our requests. We had a blast at our wedding and we have Andy to thank. Our only regret is we forgot to get a picture with him before the night ended.

I love to dance, and couldn't wait to have all of my friends and family dancing the night away with my groom and I! Andy definitely did not disappoint! He took the time to meet with us ahead of time and really listen to our concerns, likes and dislikes. He then tailored all of our music at our cocktail our and reception to what we love, but making sure all of our guests enjoyed themselves as well. He has tons of music you can sort through ahead of time, you can send links to your guests to see what they want to hear, and he will always answer any questions right away! I was worried too about the length of our first dance and family dances, and Andy definitely eased my worries! He didn't want us to cut our time together short ahead a time, which ended up being amazing professional advice! I enjoyed every minute dancing with my dad, but knew if we felt it was getting long I could just give Andy a head nod and he'd take care of it. Last thing I'll say, because I could rave about him for a long time, but he was a great MC for the night. He talked the perfect amount; all the guests were always informed of what was going on, but he never got long-winded! Amazing DJ and he really cares about each couple and their experience!

Andy is great! I highly recommend him. He was organized and kept everyone dancing ALL night. He is also one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet!

We picked Andy based on recommendations from both online and from our photographer (who used him for her own wedding!). We were not disappointed at all. Andy played so many great songs to get all the people at our wedding to dance; even members of both our families that we had never seen dance before! He is so easy to work with and is very easy to get ahold of if you want to make changes or have questions. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to have a great time at their wedding! Andy is the best DJ at the best price in Pittsburgh! He does a pre wedding consultation to go over everything. He is available for any last minute changes and was great during our reception when we wanted to change things or play certain songs. He immediately responded to any request we made. He is very fast at responding to emails and has a great online planning tool to help you get everything set before the wedding! He had great tact with guests when sticking to our do not play list. He didn't need any guidance during the reception or ask any questions. I went to a wedding once where I was talking to the bride for maybe 30 seconds and she said ok, I have to get going because my DJ is pressuring me to move faster. Yikes. None of that from Andy! It's your day and he just wants to make sure it flows smoothly and you have a great time!

We chose Andy to DJ our wedding because of the many great reviews I read about him. From the very first meeting, he was nice, friendly and professional. He played everything on my "must play" list and either all or most of the "play if you can" list, and he didn't torture me with anything on the "do not play" list (which was great). He played everything we wanted for every moment of the reception and even got some songs I requested that he didn't have (however he does already have pretty much every song ever). He went above and beyond by putting together a mix I requested for our "surprise bride and bridesmaids dance". He even helped calm me down when I got a bit overwhelmed. I got many compliments about Andy- my friend's mom told me yesterday that he was probably the best DJ she has ever heard at a wedding! I would recommend him to anyone! Great guy!

I really like Andy, and we booked him because he has amazing reviews. My only complaint was the cake cutting song that was played was not the one we chose. Overall, he did a wonderful job, and our dance floor was packed all night! Highly recommend.

We were very happy with Andy as our DJ! Our friends, family, and even the staff at our venue all greatly enjoyed the music, and our dance floor was packed all night - exactly how we wanted it. His pricing was fair, I found him to be very easy to get in touch with and communicate with, and he was extremely professional throughout the process (especially at the wedding itself). He played exactly what we wanted, nothing we didn't want... The only thing I would change was a slight technical "blip" during the "mother/son" dance. It was a small problem that could probably have been avoided, but overall, it did not change our opinion of Andy. I would definitely recommend him as a wonderful DJ!!!

Was very professional. Played the music we discussed and kept the dance floor packed all night. Was not cheesy at all and kept his announcements short and professional. Very classy.;I saw our DJ work for another wedding and he used a totally different style. More traditional -- did more emceeing. Played polkas, the electric slide, etc. This is what this couple wanted -- but not at all my style. I would suggest that if working with Andy to be very clear about what you want.

He knows his music and has a great selection.;He was't easy to get a hold of.
