Andy Sams Photography

I highly recommend Andy Sams as your wedding photographer. My husband was a bit leary about hiring a photographer for our wedding... he was convinced his dad could do the job and said nobody ever has wedding photos on display anyhow. I wasn't so sure... :) I talked to Andy on the phone and loved his laid back, but professional demeanor. We agreed to meet to discuss wedding options and also take some engagement photos to get my husband comfortable. We had a great meeting with Andy - he had arrived early to scope out photo locations and our photos were gorgeous (despite it being nearly 100 degrees that day). After meeting with Andy, my husband was convinced that we should hire him and we are both so happy we did. Andy was very prompt to respond to any emails or questions that we had. He did an amazing job at the wedding - we asked for natural photos - didn't want anything too staged and didn't want to take a lot of time away from hanging with our guests in order to take a bunch of photos. Andy worked very quickly, but diligently and we have the most gorgeous wedding photos (which are proudly displayed around our house)! Andy has a great personality and was also right there helping to keep our schedule on track. To make a long story short, we LOVED Andy! He did an amazing job and we will cherish our wedding photos forever! I highly recommend that you use Andy for your Wedding.

“Breath taking beautiful” was used by a friend to describe the wedding photographs from Andy Sams. I could not agree more. Reasons why he is an amazing photographer: 1. He is a magician. He can turn an ordinary setting into amazing photographs. Our wedding was at the Allan House and he turned the entire venue, streets, areas of overgrowth and even the prison into beautiful photographs we will cherish. 2. Wedding perfectly captured in “tones” of photographs. We had over 600 photographs that captured the entire event, feelings and moments along with the standard staged family shots. I treasure the photographs since they help me remember all the details and events of the wedding. Trust me, your wedding day will be a blur. 3. Professional and prompt communications. Andy has quickly responds to all communications and even provided a picture I needed for holiday cards almost instantly. 4. Prompt turn around and amazing products. Our photograph link and products ordered were provided in the agreed upon time-frame. The pictures ordered had amazing color/pixel quality. 5. He is fun. This is critical since your photographer will follow you around for your entire wedding. He is a pleasure to be around and made the entire process enjoyable and relaxing. Our photographs were natural, even though our faces started to hurt from smiling. I do recommend engagement photos as this allows you time to get to know Andy and understand all the hand jesters for kiss, lean in, etc. 6. Went above and beyond for our engagement photos. They were just as amazing as our wedding photos. He took the time to scout the unfamiliar location in Dallas prior to our appointment. He had all the best photograph spots/angles mapped out.

Andy Sams is a fantastic photographer to work with. He made my husband and I feel so comfortable around him which I'm hoping turns out some rockin' photographs. Before the wedding he had some great wedding tips that he's seen throughout his career that was super helpful! He kept our family pictures on time so it didn't mess with the reception time line. After that he and his assistant were so secretive during the reception I never really noticed they were capturing the big moments which I think any bride would want in a photographer! My guests kept coming up to me saying "you're pictures are going to come out so well, this photographer is GOOD."

We met Andy at a wedding bridal show in Austin and hit it off straight away. it was important for us to find a photographer who we related to and who related to us and our concept. We found that in Andy. Andy is very professional and really puts you at ease in front of the camera. He has an eye for the detail and a knack for taking fantastic but unusual and artistic photos highlighting the details and individuality of the venue and the wedding. As well as the traditional family and wedding party shots Andy took some great candid shots of our family and friends relaxing and enjoying themselves. I would reccomend paying a little extra to get Andy to stay past the first dances as some of our favourite shots came towards the end of the night as everyone become "lubricated", relaxed and found their inner disco diva. You get copies of all of the digital photographs, we receive over 800 photographs, there are so many to choose from our biggest problem has been selecting only 80 for our wedding album!

Andy is from Austin, TX, but traveled to CO to photograph our wedding. He is so friendly and personable and our families loved him. We got our pictures back in 4 weeks and received this hi-res images with a print release. He's also very affordable compared to a lot of photographers and we loved him.

We were thrilled with Andy Sams Photography! He was great to work with and everyone had something positive to say about him. He was loved by young and old! If you are willing to be flexible about any and everything you may need to be flexible about, he is to. What we liked best was that during the reception we didn't even know he was there, but he was, and he got some amazing shots. The end result was an amazing record of our entire day. It was truly a pleasure to work with him.
