We got cupcakes made and delivered from this company. I go their bakery way too often for more cupcakes and donuts! My guests were blown away by how amazing the cupcakes were. One guest ate 8 CUPCAKES! I highly recommend working with this company! They also give a taste test of many different dessert options!

We planned our wedding for a longgggg time, which of course allowed for us to change our minds too many times to count. Chris was so patient, helpful, and kind, and really made the process seamless! My mom is a self-proclaimed cake snob, and she was HIGHLY impressed with our cake as were we!

Our Valentine's Day wedding couldn't have gone any better. Chris was responsive, patient, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I really appreciated that he provided all of the beautiful cake stands and platters at no extra charge. Their bakers did an amazing job on the donuts as well as our wedding cake. Thank you, Angel Food…you made my planning so much easier than I anticipated and definitely exceeded our expectations.

We had a big cake and also donuts. The donuts were awesome!!! I didn’t get to eat any cake on the day of, but the next day I had a slice and it was a little dry. For our tasting session, they actually didn’t even have any cake for us to try, even though I had said we were looking at wedding cakes. My guests said the cake was good, but they really raved about the donuts. The cake ended up being beautiful and they decorated it exactly how I wanted. They set up everything for us and it looked spectacular. We did have some issues with communication and getting the quote from the actual pastry team once we had decided what we wanted. The contact person gave us a small discount on the delivery fee for the hassle.

Our desserts and cake were awesome! Our guests loved the dessert table and we had so much fun picking out the options for our dessert buffet. The only thing I would change is ordering double! People had so much fun sampling everything. Most importantly, I'm allergic to gluten and as the bride, 100% wanted a GF wedding cake. Theirs was so good, I was worried it wasn't really GF (a very good sign!).

We taste tested multiple bakeries for their donuts and Angel Food was by far the best. We had a donut cake, regular size and mini donuts and they were all absolutely stunning. They delivered and provided beautiful stands and cards for displaying. The only small issue we had is they were sometimes hard to get a hold of. But we would still strongly recommend using them. We were thrilled with the desserts we got from Angel Food Bakery for our wedding. They put on a great tasting & as soon as Chris told us that they could do a mix of mini cupcakes & mini donuts, we were sold. We used their assorted platters to display the desserts. They looked unique & fit in perfectly with our decor. Chris was very easy to work with to narrow down our flavor choices and happy to give recommendations on flavors and quantities. Angel Food is an awesome bakery. They can be as traditional or as quirky as you want. In our case, we wanted very quirky- we served mini donuts and a giant donut cutting cake for our wedding. They have a wide range of flavors (including seasonal flavors that aren’t on their regular menu), so there is something for everyone. They did a great job communicating with us and everything was set up beautifully. Highly recommend and I’ll be making more trips to Angel Food whenever I want donuts!

I want to thank Angel Food for providing donuts on our wedding day. Everyone thought that they were not only creative and beautiful, but absolutely delicious! The presentation was beautiful and there were only a handful of donuts left. They were so awesome! Thank you angel food!

Every person at our wedding loved out donuts bites. They were the perfect size and we were able to offer a ton of variety to our guests. Chris was great to work with and the fact that we didn't have much left over shows that our guests loved them as much as we did. If your looking for something a bit different then your traditional wedding cake then as the title says, "everyone loves donuts".

We went with Angel Food to cater our wedding and it was amazing. We had a dessert bar (I'm not much of a traditional cake person) and I cannot tell you how many people complimented us on the desserts. All the desserts were unique and looked as perfect as an Instagram post — as well as being totally delicious!

Angel Food was so easy to work with and lived up to their advice that planning and arranging your desserts should be the funnest part of the wedding! They were so accommodating and helpful, and the desserts were delicious (so we hear, they were gone by the time we got to the dessert table!) We absolutely recommend them!

Our dessert table was amazing & delicious! We received many compliments from our guests. People couldn't stop taking photos and couldn't keep their hands off the treats either!

Dessert tastings are fun, but the final decision on who and what to go with can be stressful. Chris and Angel Food seemed like a great choice from the get go, he was very responsive and open about pricing and availability. You can tell he’s passionate about Angel Food and desserts in general. We ended up choosing Angel Food and finally landing on a simple 6” cutting cake and then a dessert bar. Chris was essential in making flavor choices for the dessert bar since all of their flavors sound too good to be true (ex: THEIR BROWNIES THO). Angel Food delivered all the desserts and completed set up during our room flip. The final look of the bar was what dreams are made of, especially for someone with an insatiable sweet tooth. Guests loved the freedom of going up to the dessert table and choosing what their little hearts desired rather than being served a single layer cake. There was plenty to go around and we even had some leftovers for the next day! Cake stands were easy to return (they give you three days, more than ample). Definitely give Angel Food Bakery a look for your next event or the next time you have a dessert hankering or crisis!!

We actually tasted some mini desserts by Angel Food at a tattersall event, and knew we needed to have them make desserts for our wedding. Chris was so easy to work with! He set up a tasting based on flavors we each liked, and helped us select 12 mini desserts for our dessert table. They offer such a great variety of mini cupcakes, mini donuts, parfaits, tarts, cookies, etc., and the price was very reasonable. We even had their pretzels and mustard/beer cheese dip for our late night food. We’ve received many compliments from our guests, and would recommend them to anyone!

Most of our guests didn't actually watch our first dance because they were standing in line for the donut bar. THAT is how good Angel Food Bakery is. They were a breeze to work with, the display was impeccable, and everyone raved about the donuts. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Desserts were the talk of the wedding! Having food allergies myself making me strict no dairy, I rarely can eat dessert at weddings. Our wedding was going to be different - I wanted every single guest to have something they could enjoy! Vegan, gluten free, grain free, dairy free - you name it, Angel Food Bakery delivered! The items were exquisite and display breathtaking! They even went so far as a custom order for my husband, who isn’t a whiskey or bourbon guy but can’t say no to a Bailey’s chocolate combination. It was a hit! Would highly recommend and can’t make them enough for making it possible that everyone could enjoy dessert with us on our special day.

Angel food did such a great job! I chose a variety of cupcakes and donuts for our wedding and they put together a beautiful display. So many of my guests throughout the night commented on the desserts and how great they were. The only downside is that I was so busy talking to my guests that I only got to eat half a cupcake! :) They did an amazing job and would chose them again in a heartbeat!

Angel Food did an amazing job with our wedding desserts! The dessert buffet was amazing and there was something for everyone! The display was beautiful and the staff was great to work with. Our wedding cake was designed beautifully and was exactly what I had asked for. Of all the places we tasted and tried, they were the yummiest and the most affordable! I will definitely be using them for any events in the future!

Angel Food Bakery was exactly what we were looking for in terms of wedding desserts! They were a preferred vendor of our venue, Varsity Theater. Our initial tasting was a lot of fun and Chris was very responsive throughout the process, providing her expertise while understanding our preferences of taste, quantity, etc. We settled on a variety of mini desserts (cupcakes, cookies, bars, parfaits) and a diverse range of flavors. A huge benefit was the ability to have some gluten free and dairy free dessert options. The display looked beautiful and was a big hit among our wedding guests. Thankfully we had some leftovers so I was able to taste a few as well :)

Angel Food Bakery catered the dessert portion of our wedding. My husband and my family, and I take dessert very seriously. We couldn't possibly pick just one. That's when Angel Food stepped in to make our dessert dreams come true. Not only did we get a wide assortment of options, the display was gorgeous. It was 100% on theme for my wedding. We got tons of compliments from people on the delicious desserts. They also gave us a little box of all the options to take home. Which was perfect because of course I never had a chance to eat any! Wow, angel food exceeded my expectations! I had a variety mini dessert bar at our wedding and it was the talk of the night! Also angel food provided really cute serving display trays for the desserts! I worked with Audra to make my dessert dreams happen and she was wonderful in every way! I didn't feel pressured at all but yet relaxed during the tasting and all the way up to my wedding. I had no stress that Audra and angel food would come through with all the perfect details needed to make our day perfect! Thank you!!

We booked Angel Food Bakery for donuts as our dessert instead of cake and we're so happy we did. Audra at Angel Food was helpful in getting everything set up, the tasting was great. We chose an assortment of 10 different kinds of full-size donuts. They do have mini ones that we considered, but decided to go with the larger ones and let people share. We also opted to utilize their stands and setup / delivery service which was an additional cost, but totally worth it. The mismatched stands looked great and added some fun to the display. The delivery and set up were seamless. We were responsible for dropping off the stands back at the bakery within a couple days, but that was easily taken care of with all my family in town. The donuts were delicious and everyone was asking where they came from! Maybe leave a few business cards in the back for interested people in the future?

I cannot say enough good things about Angel Food Bakery! I've been a huge fan of theirs for awhile now so when I got engaged there wasn't a thought of using anyone else. We were not at all disappointed! Audra was great to work with and she responded promptly to emails. We ordered 6 of their regular cakes instead of a traditional wedding cake. Each one was fantastic and our guests raved about the donut cake specifically. They came and set up a dessert bar and it was beautiful!

The Giant Donut Cake was amazing! All of the guests loved it and it tasted just like a donut! We also got an assorted mix of gluten free donuts and our gluten-free guests loved those as well.

Really delicious cakes that are beautiful as well! We did a "cake bar" at our wedding, so we had 8 different flavored cakes (including a small, white wedding cake) that people could choose from. We got so many compliments on the flavor types, the cake presentation, and the overall quality- they were a huge hit! The reason I give 4/5 stars is that we were supposed to have gold paint on the cake that we were going to cut, and it turned out to be more of an unappetizing yellowy/orange color. The other cakes were so beautiful that it didn't make a huge difference, but it was still slightly disappointing. Overall, I would recommend the team here and their work.

We love them and their desserts! Everyone commented on how amazing everything was and everything looked flawless! We did cupcakes, small cake and parfaits. They were super easy to work with from the tasting to returning the stands/platers (that are free to rent!). They were extremely responsive and willing to customize based on our needs. We would highly recommend Angel Food to anyone!

Words cannot express how impressed I was with our cake and cupcakes! Everyone commented on how delicious they were! I honestly could not wait until our wedding after our tasting. We love Angel Food Bakery!!! We had raspberry chocolate cakes which were all beautiful and delicious. Later in the evening we had a dessert bar with cupcakes, donuts, cookies, and brownies. We ordered a small gluten/dairy free cake to have at our wedding! I was very impressed by how delicious it was! It was beautifully decorated and I really appreciated how they dropped it off at our car when we came to pick it up. My only disappointment was that despite keeping it cold and handling it very carefully, the cake shifted during transport and part of the design was smashed. Luckily, our venue was able to smooth things out and it wasn't too noticeable for guests.

Angel Food did the desserts for our wedding at FIVE Event Center. I paid to have them delivered, set up on their plates/trays, and picked back up form the venue. All of the desserts were labeled so guests could decipher what they were eating. The treats looked and tasted delicious. Some of my out-of-town friends even made another stop at their bakery before they left! The two gripes I had: (1) communicating with them initially was awful! I wouldn't hear back from them for weeks - even after calling/leaving messages and emailing multiple times. Luckily, they hired someone to manage their emails and events they had scheduled. (2) I thought I had already scheduled/paid for them to pick up their plates and trays after the event. I stopped back by the venue the Monday after our wedding and the coordinator mentioned she called and left a message with Angel Food to pick the trays up. I get an email from Angel Food's new coordinator o Wednesday asking me to return the trays. This normally wouldn't have been a big deal but we also were moving out of state that week (yes, the week after the wedding!) and my vehicle had already left Minnesota along with all of our belongings. I had to pay them an extra $65 (when I thought I had already paid for it) just to pick up their trays from the venue.

Angel Food Bakery did a DONUT buffet for our wedding, which was pretty much the highlight of the night. We worked with Katy, who did an incredibly job listening to what we liked and pulling together something creative, delicious and perfect for our big day!

Katy did a FANTASTIC job on our cake! Everyone loved the cake and it looked more incredible than we imagined. I was asked for the bakery name so many times that I'm sure we will see Katy at a few more weddings in the future.

My husband and I used Angel Food Bakery for our wedding cakes. Katy (baker and co-owner) was fabulous to work with. She helped me think through my (many) ideas and ultimately came up with a beautiful plan for us. We had a 6" round cake on each table. We had 18 tables and 9 different flavors of cakes! (10 if you include the tiny 4" cake we had on our sweetheart table). We also rented Angel Foods cake stands which may have been the most fun part! They have an assortment of fun, beautiful cake stands that really made the tables look awesome. The cakes were beautiful and delicious— all had white frosting and were decorated differently according to flavor. Guests really loved having the cakes on each table. One of my biggest concerns was that our ceremony and dinner were taking place in the same space, so there was only an hour when the cakes could be set up. Angel Food had a crew deliver and set up the cakes during this time and as far as I know, everything went flawlessly! Honestly, the cakes exceeded all of my expectations and I am so happy with how everything turned out. Angel Food really cares about their clients and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

every single one of my guests could not stop talking about how amazing and delicious the cupcakes were. I had a little trouble with communication, and at one point i thought my cakes were not going to show up. but this was quickly forgotten once I cut into my cake topper and went straight to heaven.

After just an 'okay' cake tasting with Buttercream, I decided to find a bakery who would recreate my favorite California cupcake, chardonnay with citrus curd. Katy Gerdes of Angel Food Bakery willingly took on our wedding cake commission although she had no prior experience with wine infused cakes. At our tasting with Cynthia, we were presented several varieties including 2 versions of our commissioned creation. One was a clear winner. Although, communication was sometimes slow, Angel Food came through with an amazing cake that was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat! I highly recommend Angel Food when the ordinary just won't do!

This bakery is great! The staff is so nice and the cupcakes are so good. We had them make mini cupcakes and a small grooms cake. Everything turned out great. They did the set up for us too and it looked so good. Would recommend them for sure.

Although I didn't get to eat any on the actual wedding day... I know they were awesome! :) We opted for a dessert mini bar knowing that a few of our guests had allergies - and it was a huge hit! People certainly started snacking before dinner (whoops!) but the display was impossible to ignore. We gave Katy our general ideas and let her go wild with seasonal goodies and their top selling items. I can only assume they were delicious since they were all gone by the end of the night!

We are so thrilled with the service that we received from Katy and her team at Angel Food! Angel Food provided 4 types of donuts and 4 types of cookies for desserts for our wedding. We wanted guests to enjoy a delicious dessert that allowed them to keep dancing. Our guests RAVED about the desserts and many requested the information for the bakery so they could try and visit during their time in MN. Katy and her team delivered the desserts and set up a table with a beautiful display using white cake stands and plates. It was gorgeous. She also wrote us a thoughtful note and set aside a box of desserts for us, and we're glad she did since everything was eaten by the time my husband and I reached the desserts. We loved working with Angel Food and we highly recommend the desserts and the team!

I wasnt going to get a cake. And then my man of honor said "wait, I know this awesome bakery" And so my wedding cake was born. This is not the place for rolled fondant structures. THIS is a place where flavor and texture and real butter and fluffy mounds of sugar and fruity fillings and happiness all coalesce into amazing.
