As I tried on several dresses, she paid close attention to the elements I loved in each one and ultimately pulled the perfect dress and veil for me. From finding "the one," through the alterations process, to my wedding day and even the preservation process, Angel Rivera and the entire team have been a dream to work with. you know, you know! I didn’t feel the need to look at many others in that store, but they were also particular about ladies touching the gowns. They were all very kind and professional. Great with communication. The dresses are beautiful, and it is an elegant shop that feels like a safe space during stressful wedding dress shopping! shops in the state, some where I feel dismissed if I don't spend $5k, some where they are overbooked and you feel rushed to make a decision, and you only have til the exact minute in your appointment. I had an apt here this past Saturday with their manager & stylist, Danielle, who I could not speak highly enough about. She has a great eye for design (and as someone with a fashion design background, I knew what I was looking at as well, and the value, so I am not easy to fool lol), is fantastic with brides as well as mothers. She is funny, patient, and very professional. Honestly she helped me find exactly what I wanted and even picked out a few dresses that matched my vision, but that I didn't consider to pull myself. She helped me find THE one and I was so excited. I tried it on a few times, just to be sure, and she outfitted it with many different kinds of veils, even popping on a silk belt to see how it would look jazzed up. I had the shop all to myself with my mom and MIL so it was private, quiet, and easy to focus. I didn't feel pressured at all to make any decisions, but she was also a great second set of eyes when I was unsure of what suited me. She was 100% transparent on the pricing of the gowns and the turnaround time, and walked me through everything. Even showed me some gowns that were being discontinued and were more budget friendly. I am so happy to be an Angel Rivera bride. What a perfect place to find your dress!! I landed on a Justin Alexander gown, @ $1800, which I felt was very reasonable. They have dresses for any budget and will make you feel like a princess no matter what. I will be getting my veil here as well. handmade by Angel himself! How awesome. Thanks, AR :)

h some inspiration of what I was looking for and she pulled the perfect dresses for me to try. I had come in to try a specific dress and when that one didn't feel like "the one" she pulled a similar one and said "trust me". That next dress made me feel absolutely beautiful, I knew it was the one for me instantly...even as Danielle patiently waited for me to try on about 8 more dresses just to be sure. A few months later I stopped back in and Danielle helped me find the perfect cathedral length veil to complete my bridal look. I recommend Angel Rivera to any future brides looking for their perfect dress!

e. I'm writing this to warn future (or current) Angel Rivera brides of my experience with the tailor shop they work with -- Christine's Custom Tailor. My experience was an absolute nightmare. I bought my dress at Angel Rivera, and it was a good experience, but I left there under the impression Angel would be making my custom sleeves (these sleeves were integral to the dress; I've always wanted a wedding dress with sleeves). A conversation happened behind the scenes, and Angel was not doing them anymore. I, unknowingly, arrived at my first fitting to see Robert from Christine's Custom Tailor. The first seamstress they assigned me to had to be removed from the project. She gave me different versions of the sleeves that were 4 or 5 sizes too big, the next version was raw hem and still too big, the next version the seam was sown crooked so it did not sit right on my arm whatsoever. Angel Rivera Bridal Shop then stepped in and advocated for me. They got a new seamstress from Christine's Custom Tailor on the project. She improved the sleeves and dress a lot, but I still was not being listened to about the lack of structure in the sleeve. And, now there are lipstick stains all over the sleeve. So, long story short, a week before my wedding I have a new seamstress inserting some rigid strip of fabric to the top of the sleeve to provide more structure like I want. Then, I will have to quickly get these to the dry cleaners and pay for a 2-day turnaround because of lipstick stains all over the sleeve. They are small stains, but noticeable to me and not what you expect when you pay over a grand for alterations/custom sleeves. I lost sleep over this whole experience, and after 6 fittings, I am exhausted... one of these fittings being 5.5 hours!!!! There’s still random threads/stitches visible on the sleeve and the fabric is pretty roughed up by the buttons. I’ll upload more pictures once I get the sleeves back from my new tailor. I have very high attention to detail, as should any tailor shop, but this business does not. Save yourself so much mental anguish and take your dress elsewhere. This all could have been avoided if Robert was honest about this team’s capabilities from the beginning. They were way in over their heads with this project. Unfortunately, I had to compromise on my original vision because their lack of skill. I did not want visible seams on the forearm, and now I have them.

it off after my wedding night. She was super friendly and answered all my questions without pushing me towards a dress. Angel and Danielle were super helpful when my dress was a little behind schedule. They kept me updated and ensured me it would be in with plenty of time and it was! It was such a pleasure working with everyone and the process was super smooth and easy, from trying on dresses to the final fitting!

other 3 locations just didn’t give me the quality or attention that Angels did. I went back to Angels where I picked the dress I originally loved that first day. The staff is nothing less than amazing and super sweet. My mother then went to get her dress for my wedding here after I purchased mine. You can’t go wrong with Angel Riveras! My dress was amazing and great quality! I got so many compliments! The detailing of my dress was noticed by all! I highly recommend going to Angels for quality cares and attentive service and great dress options!

During my second appointment (on a weekend) there was only myself and one other bride in the store. Angel Rivera has a HUGE selection (and such inclusive sizing). They provide an exclusive and intimate setting in their beautiful space, but it's really the staff that sets it over the top. Danielle had extreme patience with my family, made me laugh in the dressing room, gave me complete honesty when I needed it & helped me find my dream dress. She filled me with confidence and made this such a fun experience ! I couldn't have been any luckier to work with her. Angel Rivera is the first & only store any bride needs to visit. Ask for Danielle!

Seamstress, Julia, did her magic and the dress fit perfectly. Every fitting and every interaction I had with the employees made me feel confident that I will be happy with the end result. self and my bridal party had here was truly appalling. I booked and confirmed my 10/21 appointment on 8/30. When we arrived on the 21st, we were informed by the sales manager that we did not have an appointment. I insisted that I did and showed them the confirmation email to prove it. The manager insisted multiple times that I did not have an appointment. It was at that point that she took my phone and left, presumably to check their systems. When she came back she called me over to get checked in, she only got my basic information. The entire time she said she would “squeeze” me in. She brought me to the dressing room and did pull some beautiful gowns. However the entire time she gaslit me by saying “well, you didn’t have an appointment” which was blatantly not true. The entire time she looked angry and downright miserable. My maid of honor even had to ask to pull one more dress for me since I did not feel as though I was being heard before we were literally rushed out of the store with the sales manager saying she had another appointment. Overall, I’m glad if the only purpose of this salon was to try on different cuts of dresses. But I am even more glad that I did not find my dress here. The absolute level of unprofessionalism from their sales manager, as well as the lack of accountability for their failures, is truly unacceptable for a place which is so highly regarded. I would never recommend this place to anyone and would suggest going elsewhere for your dress.

lace would be able to find me a dress in my budget. I shopped around and nothing felt right.. the places were pushy, filled with tons of people, and impersonal. This all changed when I found Angel Rivera Bridal. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by my bridal attendant, and was the ONLY one in the entire store. I felt so incredibly special, and my experience got better and better from there. I already knew which dress I wanted from seeing it on their website, it was (and still is) THE PERFECT DRESS! Unfortunately, this dress wasn't available in their NJ location. So, what they did for me was shipped the sample from Florida ALLL the way to NJ for me to try on. I mean, just simply amazing. Of course, when the dress came it was as perfect as the pictures were online, and from there everything fell into place. The service that I received at Angela Rivera is beyond anything that I expected, and made my entire wedding vision and day come together. I couldn't be more grateful to the dedication and respect that I received there, from saying yes to the dress- to alterations. Every step was made easy and fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you <3

I was so impressed by the selection but also the staff! Antonella from say yes to the dress is the manager here so be prepared to be star struck! #3) THE DRESS🤍— I bought an Angel Rivera design and am OBSESSED. Not only is it stunning, but it fits my curvy body like a glove! #4) The dedication— The entire team at Angel Rivera + THEE Angel Rivera himself was so dedicated to making my dream dress come true that we worked together to create a one of a kind original piece to add to the dress of my dreams. It went from a 10/10 dress that made my sister cry to an 11/10 with all the customized finishing touches. #5) Misc things I also loved— We got 15% off additional accessories after getting the dress, so we also got an incredible veil to match. They gave us a bottle of champagne to take home after we said yes. And the ambiance here is a dream! Comfy couches, fitting rooms, intimate setting, and smells heavenly inside. I am running out of characters for this review lol but HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for all NY/NJ brides. Even if you are traveling to NYC for the weekend just to go dress shopping. It’s worth the trip to go to Angel Rivera 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I ended up picking my dream dress with the help of my Family and the Angel Rivera Crew. They were so helpful and not pressuring at all. They were honest and made sure I was comfortable. Emotions run high especially when you are ready to say yes...they were right there with me to make my biggest decision. I really loved the shop and how intimate they make it.
