Angel photographed my wedding in September 2024 and was wonderful on the wedding day. Everything that happened after that was unacceptable.
She sent sneak peeks in November and then basically vanished. I had to chase her down repeatedly and finally received the full gallery 7 months later in March.
The images were strangely muted and washed out, so I requested a simple round of edits. She agreed and said they would be ready by June.
June came and went with no delivery and no communication. My messages and calls were ignored. Weeks later she briefly responded, saying she was dealing with personal issues, and then stopped responding again for months.
By August, my wedding planner had to contact her directly because she would not reply to me at all. Only after my planner stepped in did she respond and send “updated edits.” Those edits were dramatically over processed, with orange skin tones, unnatural saturation, and distorted colors. Some images labeled as re edited appeared unchanged from the originals.
When I asked for corrections, she again stopped responding entirely.
After multiple additional follow ups, she sent another batch of edits that appeared to be processed through an automated editing tool rather than individually retouched. I have attached before and after examples.
At that point, I requested the raw files so I could hire another company to salvage the photos at my own expense. It is now February 2026, a year and a half after my wedding, and I am only just receiving properly edited images.
In addition, there were issues with the original photography itself that a professional photographer should have noticed such as cluttered backgrounds in getting ready photos and ceremony images that lacked accurate color due to camera settings.
I have attached before and after examples demonstrating the original delivery and the later edits, which show extreme color shifts, unnatural skin tones, and significant image distortion.
Wedding photos cannot be redone. The repeated lack of communication, missed deadlines, and substandard edits made this one of the most stressful vendor experiences I have ever had.
PS- My original positive review is still displayed on her Instagram page without any context about the significant issues that followed, which I believe is misleading to potential clients.

SCAM ARTIST
We worked with Angel for our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos. When we received our wedding photos we were very unhappy with about half of the conten...
t seeing as the quality was poor and did not match the rest of the content we received. We reached out to her about our concerns and that we wanted them to be redone and she agreed to do so - this was in October of 2022. In February she claimed to have sent the re-edited photos via email yet we received nothing. After several attempts to contact her she has yet to respond therefore we have contacted and are working with our family attorney to reach out to her. Every address and contact information other than her email is invalid and unreachable (including the address and phone number on her website). Not only have we received below quality photos but we purchased the package that included a second photographer but when we arrived to the venue only Angel was there and she had no explanation as to why. We are furious with how this has been handled and we have contacted the better business bureau. I highly recommend NOT working with this vendor because she is dishonest, fraudulent and a scam artist. She also claims to be voted as The Knot's photographer of the year according to a post she made on instagram and that is just simply not true. This was the most important day of our lives and she has taken so much joy as well as striped us of memories of our beloved day. She misrepresented what her services were as well as the quality of her work and has time and time again failed to follow through with her promise. I pray this doesn't happen to anyone else!
I Originally gave Angel Starr Photography a 5 star review because Angel was really great to work with. Out wedding package was supposed to come with a wedding album that we have ye...
t to receive. My wedding was may of 2021. The first wedding album was supposedly delivered to my house which was not the case. The second she states was destroyed when a pipe burst at her studio. This was after she conveniently forgot to bring it to our maternity photoshoot. She did give us a free maternity photoshoot for the inconvenience of all of this which was nice. But we were still under the impression we would still get our wedding album as promised. We have been waiting for months at this point for our "third" wedding album. We have emailed and texted her without answers. This is really unacceptable.
We used Angel as our wedding photographer and it was absolutely the best choice! She is the sweetest and really takes her time to get the perfect shots. I couldn’t have asked for a...
better day and Angel just made it so much better knowing all my special moments would be captured! From the initial consultation to the day of the wedding I knew she would be a perfect fit. Thank you!!
If you’re looking for a photographer that takes the time to get to know you and your fiancé as a couple so that your pictures match your relationship—look no further. Angel was not...
only attentive to what we were looking for, but was and is the most personable person to do business with. She was truly there if I needed her for anything. If you decide to go with her videographer package— don’t be surprised when she delivers the most attentive, professional, and dedicated team with her. If we were local, I would hire her for anything and everything. She truly captured us, our night, and our friends/family in the most beautiful way.

ision for our wedding photos. She and her assistant were so easy and fun to have around all day of the wedding - and this is important because it is a long day of taking photos. They not only treated us (the bride and groom) wonderfully, but our families, wedding party, and guests as well. We just got our sneak peeks and they are stunning! We can't wait to see the rest. I highly recommend Angel Starr Photography!
Angel Starr was such an amazing part of our wedding day!! As the bride, she put me right at ease when things were a bit crazy at the beginning of the wedding. I truly appreciated...
her professionalism throughout the wedding. Wedding party and family members also commented on how kind Angel was and how many pictures she was taking. We are so thankful we chose her! Looking forward to seeing our pictures:) We know they will be amazing!!!
Angel is absolutely amazing! She immediately made me feel comfortable and worked so nicely with me on things I needed, timelines, and overall support. On the day of the wedding she...
was a second pair of eyes for me to keep track of timelines, last minute disasters, and really anything I needed including making sure I ate throughout the day. She is an astonishing example of a powerful woman who lifts up other women and has been an excellent support for me in so many ways. I highly recommend her services to anyone wishing to not have to worry about a thing for their event and who wants stunning photos.
Angel and her assistant Gabby were beyond our expectations. Aside from the pricing being more than reasonable for everything we received, their talent is unmeasurable as well. They...
’re fun, creative, comfortable to photograph with, and are just all around the nicest people. When my wife and I previewed all of the pictures a few weeks after our wedding, we were in awe. The moments that were captured so perfectly will be ones that we are able to keep forever in our album, thanks to Angel and Gabby. I would recommend them to absolutely anybody looking for a photographer for any reason. I can’t stress that enough!!
We had the joy of meeting Genesis on our wedding day and she came perfectly prepared! She kept me on track, she was where I needed her when I needed her to be there. She was early,...
she had my Pinterest board memorized, and she took note of the surrounding scenery in town as she drove to my house the morning of October 10th. When we got the photos back, they were everything we wanted and more! We can’t recommend Angel Star Photograhy enough! Angel worked easily with us from day one and we are so grateful she was able to help us with a photography package that was just what we needed! For us, Angel Star photography was local, well priced, and the quality of our wedding photos was stunning! We love them! Thank you!

After our ceremony Angel was a guiding light, leading us through the storm of people and giving us a few much-needed moments of calm in the chaos of all our excited guests.
Angel's friendly disposition, seemingly infinite supply of energy and undeniable sense of fun allowed us to completely relax in her company and be our true selves in front of the lens. She was able to direct just enough to get the perfect photo whilst not being intrusive or overbearing!
Angel captured our day exactly how we remember it, all the smiles, all the silly faces and all of the tears. We cannot thank her enough for how much she put into our day. From calling down to reception for a toothbrush to re-pinning the groom's boutonniere, she went above and beyond to help make our day go smoothly!
Angel is absolutely wonderful and we are so happy to have had her share (and capture) the joy of our magnificent Wedding day! She made everything so easy and fun! From start to finish it really felt like Angel understood us, our story and we couldn’t be happier.
If you’re thinking of using Angel for any photography, I would 100% urge you to book her!
