Rehearsal+Ceremony: Angela ensured that we were prepared by organizing our Rehearsal, and walked us through the main steps several times until we felt as prepared as can be; her enthusiasm is contagious, and helped us through all our nerves and anxiety. Throughout the wedding weekend itself, she was so responsive, proactive, warm and friendly with our guests and family members, and regularly checked on the bride and groom to make sure we were cool, calm and collected and just purely excited to walk down the aisle. I also really appreciated her honesty and direction and suggestions, especially in a world where there are so many decisions to be made. Reception: We had our reception dinner at a restaurant nearby, and her team Candice and Connie put together a beautiful and thoughtful space with the decor we provided, and worked with our family members to quickly strike so that we could all enjoy our after-party next door. Finally, she was so gracious and helpful with our other vendors, and we received kind reviews from all of them, as well as our guests/family throughout the weekend. Early on during planning we had the crazy idea to make our entrance to the reception by popping out of a giant cake, and she somehow was able to source us a giant cake prop and helped us to ensure that all the guests were surprised! Santa Barbara Courthouse has a lot of specifics and rules, but Angela has worked there often and was calm and confident during the rehearsal and wedding day. Her guidance was invaluable to our Officiant, who was a friend. He had never performed a ceremony before but, with her advice, it was flawless. When we arrived at The Lark, all of our decor was set beautifully and her design additions worked perfectly. With her amazing team, they worked with the banquet staff to create a seamless night with all dances, speeches, and dinner service. I knew that the day would flow smoothly, and sure enough, I felt totally at ease on our wedding day.  My now husband and I were able to enjoy our time with family and friends and know all was being taken care of behind the scenes. From our first call with her, we knew we wanted to hire her. She is so kind, sweet and attentive. She saw our vision and was immediately on board. Leading up to the wedding, she was so helpful in coordinating all of our vendor communication, and I'm sure she did work behind the scenes that I'm not even aware of just to make sure everything was going to plan. She was so upbeat and organized at our wedding rehearsal. Our wedding party kept commenting on how awesome she was. We ran into a few vendor issues days before our wedding, including the hotel where our wedding room block was trying to charge us a hefty $1,000 fee just to take a few photos on their property and our reception venue doing last minute construction. Both situations could have been extremely stressful, but Angela handled them like a pro and jumped in to make sure everything was taken care of for us. We held our wedding at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and my biggest concern was always rain since it is an outdoor space. Luckily, it didn’t rain, but I never in a million years would have imagined that I should have been concerned about an entire high school prom showing up to take their prom photos at the exact same time as our wedding ceremony. Thankfully we had Angela and her team on site to make sure the prom was moved as far away from our space as possible!
