Angela and her team are the best. I first met her when she did my sister's bridal hair and make up. Flash forward 2 years and she is the first one I went to to glam for a work photoshoot. She takes her time and makes sure you LOVE your look before you leave. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I loved working with Angela! She was very responsive through email and text and was willing to travel to our hotel where my bridal party was getting ready at. Angela arrived right on time and was able to get my wedding hair along with the hairstyles for all the other members of my bridal party done within the time frame we agreed upon. I appreciated her tips and suggestions for my wedding hair and my hairstyle was photo-ready all day! She is amazing!

I cannot thank Angela enough for the incredible job she did on my wedding day! She styled my hair as the bride, all of my bridesmaids, my sister’s hair, and even my husband’s hair last-minute—and every single one of us looked amazing.
Angela came to our hotel’s bridal lounge early and immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She created such a calm, friendly atmosphere while working her magic on all of us. I danced the entire night like crazy, and my hair stayed perfect until midnight without a single issue. I received so many compliments on my hairstyle throughout the day—it truly made me feel extra special and beautiful.
One moment that really stood out to me was when Angela taught one of my bridesmaids how to put on my veil, so I could leave the hotel with my husband without being seen before the ceremony. That small but thoughtful gesture meant so much to me and shows how dedicated and caring she is.

Angela was wonderful to work with on my wedding day! I am not someone who does professional makeup often, so this was a new experience for me. She made it seem very relaxed and friendly, and the best part is she always listened to what I was looking for! She did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids hair and makeup as well, albeit it did take a good amount of time. But one of my bridesmaids actually said it was the best hair she had ever gotten done and I was so happy to hear that.
She definitely went above and beyond and helped me so much with my dress as well!
Would definitely recommend her if you want a chill, happy, high quality Hair and Makeup experience on your special day!

Oh my gosh Angela was AMAZING! I could not recommend her more. She is so sweet and professional. I did my bridal trial a couple months before the wedding, and afterwards asked to switch up a few things, and she was so kind to make tweaks last minute. My makeup stayed perfect throughout our outdoor July wedding, and I got so many compliments on it.

I hired Angela’s team for my wedding in November. I absolutely loved how I looked at my wedding and my bridal party was extremely pleased with their hair and make up as well. Everyone stayed on schedule and met our timelines. My favorite aspect was how Angela took the time to make sure I was as relaxed as possible throughout the morning and kept reminding me to delegate tasks to the planners and others so I could just enjoy my special day. We had a beautiful 1920’s themed wedding so hiring Angela was the perfect choice to execute a vintage glam look. Everyone in my bridal party had different hair lengths and textures and they all got different hairstyles to both suit them and look on theme.

Angela did my hair for my wedding day and I was overjoyed with the outcome! I felt beautiful and the hairstyle held up the entire night. I also had a veil and flower hair piece that she made sure would be secured until after the ceremony when they were to be removed. It looked amazing!
She was professional in organizing a bridal hair trial and scheduling the day of the wedding so I would be ready in time. She also did my sister’s hair and she was so happy with how it turned out as well! I would recommend Angela and her team to anyone looking for glam for their wedding day!

They got everyone done and also did extras for my bridesmaid’s hair and some cover up for my brother. I wanted very simple wedding makeup and hair, didn't have a bridal party and it was just my mom and I who wanted services. I reached out to tons of companies in the LA area and they had crazy minimums or didn't want to take me seriously because it was just two of us. Luckily, I found Angela and her team and am so thankful! I was very nervous about getting my makeup done because I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis, and have worn lashes only a few times in my life. On top of that, I was changing from a white long sleeve lace dress to a pink and blue lehenga, and really wanted to make sure my makeup worked for both outfits. Angela was super patient, she spent lots of time with me at my trial figuring out exactly what I wanted, how my veil would work with my hair, which extensions were the right ones, if we should go with top liner, etc. I got home from the trial and the lashes were really irritating me, so she suggested a sensitive eye lash glue for me to buy, which she used on the wedding day and worked fabulously. The morning off, Angela was on time and super communicative, and she honestly worked so quickly I was done with plenty of time to relax before needing to head out. My mom is equally indecisive and had lots of ideas for her hair, but she worked with Joanne to narrow down what she wanted, work with the hair accessories she'd brought, and create a gorgeous hairstyle. She was also really hesitant about her brows that day, and Joanne was really good about adjusting and lightening so my mom was super happy. My only (very minor and silly) complaint was that my hair was half up half down, and the twist in the back that held my veil did come slightly undone in the second part of the evening. Nobody's fault (and I was too busy partying to bother going to the bathroom to fix it, we did actually have hairspray in our bathroom baskets lol) and it was great for photos so truly did not matter. Absolutely expect things like that on your wedding day!

What a great experience! Every time I have gotten my makeup done they manage to make it cakey. I was very scared to have my make up done for my own wedding because of this. I booked Angela about 2/3 months before my wedding. We spoke on the phone and I told her all about my cakey fears! I have never had my makeup done so well the day of my wedding, I couldn't have been happier! Not only was my make up great (and cakey free) but she also did an amazing job with my hair and my moms, sister and sister-in-laws hair/makeup too. My flower girl had her hair done as well and she felt so beautiful with the updo bun they gave her. Angela also showed up right on time and was done before the time that was promised. I'm so glad to have booked Angela Tam for my wedding! She was able to incorporate looks that I had shown her during previews and I was extremely happy with her work. As a person with really long, thick hair, she was able to pull off an updo that was very secure without any pain. She also used the hair accessories that I requested to use and she made my hair stunning!
She was very communicative and well-organized during the planning process. She set up an entire schedule and allowed time intervals between each person which I thought was extremely thoughtful! She and her team got to the setup area right on time and was able to finish earlier than the expected time which allowed my bridesmaids and I to shake all the nerves out! My bridesmaids enjoyed Armie's and Melissa's work as well! They were very easy-going and their work made my friends feel gorgeous! I recommend Angela and her team to those who are looking for makeup and hair vendors as she's very professional and kind-hearted!

“It’s amazing what unbridled joy and a hair and make-up professional can do!” This was my answer to every “you look so beautiful” on my wedding day. They truly went hand in hand. I highly recommend Angela Tam and her team.
I was not looking forward to wedding pictures – I’m not photogenic, my hair never stays put (no matter how much hairspray is applied), and few can apply make-up in a way that is flattering and boosts my confidence. So, I waited as long as possible to find an HMUA, nearly convinced it was an impossible quest. But from my very first query, Angela was kind, patient, responsive, and knew just what questions to ask.
On Wedding Day, they were true partners. I immediately felt calm, confident, and heard. They didn’t try to sell us anything and listened closely to each member of my I Do Crew: what we wanted, what we were concerned with, what had worked in the past, what hadn’t worked, etc. And integrated it all beautifully – even amidst the chaos and shenanigans our personalities threw at them. We were quite a rowdy bunch, and they rolled with the punches and fit in beautifully. Not only did they finish early after juggling schedule changes, they did so after squeezing in a last-minute addition (did I mention their flexibility?)!
Our hair and make-up complemented each of us beautifully and lasted the whole day. Even though I forgot to use the touch-up kit at my outdoor July wedding, I LOOKED WONDERFUL (as did the others) throughout the night! It all stuck.

I hired Angela and her team for my wedding in 11-12-22. She is responsive and even easy to work with prior to the day. Day of wedding, they were punctual, and even finished way ahead of the schedule considering there was me and 12 ladies to service. They were very accommodating to our needs and any requests/changes that we would like to make. She helped me put up my tiara and veil on. The team did an amazing job! -- I could see that my girls and family members were extra beautiful that day. I really loved my make-up and received several compliments on how my make-up stayed the whole night and did not budge. Angela and her team were so great to work with! I sent her some photos of what I wanted to look like, and Angela replicated exactly what I wanted on the first try. It was literally perfect! I have thick, red curly hair, which is very difficult to work with, but Angela was able to work with it so easily and give me exactly what I wanted. She also used some of my own products that match my red hair and fair skin.
On my wedding day, Angela and her team showed up on time, and we even finished early, which allowed me to relax a little before getting dressed. She even gave me a touchup kit that I could use later in the day to make sure my makeup stayed flawless for all my photos.
Armie and Kasie did hair and makeup for my family members, and they were also amazing to work with. We all ended up getting false lashes because they looked so great when Angela put them on me!
My family and I had such a fun experience with Angela and her team, and I highly recommend her for your wedding, or any other event.
