I chose the artists based on Stephanie's organized portfolio of amazing talent and ultimately Chelsea (makeup) and Carina (hair) won me over with their GORGEOUS/FABULOUS/IMPECCABLE work. I loved that she had such a variety in the catalogue so you can really get into the elements of what you would ultimately want for your unique bridal look. Chelsea nailed my dream bridal makeup with finding the perfect combination of glow and bronzer for my olive skin and creating a custom red wine/merlot lip. During the trial, she made sure to check in with me on each application of red, bronze, glow, and blush before adding more or pivoting her technique/products– true collaboration and management of expectation! Her makeup application is so gentle and precise, and her kit is full of luxury brands/products – I felt so pampered everytime sitting in her chair. I appreciated her reviews on make up brands and products to incorporate for my everyday makeup looks and how to prepare for the wedding morning.
Carina is full of range – she come’s with the heat, literally. I came into my trial set on an updo because the traditional hollywood glam waves require extensions and Stephanie advised me to purchase some extensions if that’s the route we were going. But honestly, I did not want to pay extra for that so I was set on a clean slickback updo. Me and my glam team + Stephanie have never met, so I wasn’t going to argue with her on text/email how my hair was different and thick blah blah blah, don’t do that because that’s also annoying (as someone who’s worked in customer service). Luckily, we did my trial and she got well acquainted with my hair. The trial with Chelsea and Carina went so well, but you know that feeling when you can’t stop thinking about something? I couldn’t stop thinking about the glam waves and had to do a last minute trial with Carina just to see how that would look. She was so sweet and accommodating even on a tight turn around– the whole team from Angeleno Beauty is determined to make the bride happy :) I took a risk and with Carina’s expertise, she was able to do my glam waves with my natural hair because my hair is thick (on the coarser side, straight/wavy) and was able to hold the curls without the extensions. And honestly, that was the best decision and I regret nothing!
Carina and Chelsea have million dollar hands of talent and extensive knowledge of beauty and the wedding industry. My bridal trials and wedding morning with them was nothing short of what Stephanie and Angeleno Beauty guaranteed. With their talent for hair and makeup already in the bag, they didn’t have to go through great lengths to make a gal feel so special, comfortable, and at ease on their wedding day. If, and, any slight or potential issue came to light on my wedding day, I noticed that their grace, demeanor, and attitude always stayed professional and so sweet as to make the bride’s experience top tier. They are so good at sensing when tensions would/could arise, and made it part of their service to keep the air in good spirits, even if it meant doing things that weren’t necessarily their job.
I truly enjoyed and appreciated the services Angeleno Beauty provided, they made sure to hype me up and made sure their work was meant to last until the end of the night (finished at 2pm - 11pm party over). I got so many compliments on my hair and my makeup – a true Old Vintage Hollywood Glam vision! With what I paid, yes, ANGELENO BEAUTY IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!
We feel SO grateful that our wedding planners referred Angeleno Beauty to us…. not only for how they made us look but also for how they made us feel! Getting ready for a wedding is a very personal & intimate space, and our Angeleno Beauty team (Stephanie, Magdelena and Jean) were so respectful & relaxed...warmly conversational & calm. They not only made us look STUNNING but they did so with no sense of rush or stress….exactly what you want on your wedding morning when emotions are already naturally at a high. As a mature mother-of-the-bride, they made me feel SO beautiful, and our very diverse bridal party with every hair/skin/ethnicity type was each made to feel pampered and given personal attention, with gorgeous results! All told, we had a party of nine that they serviced and at two different locations (and did I mention in a record heatwave no less!) and they made it look so easy. They are top-tier and worth their rate and then some.
Chelsea and the Angeleno Beauty team did such an incredible job with my wedding day look! From the moment I met Stephanie years ago at a Salsa dancing event, I knew I wanted to support her business and trust her with my special day.
Mine & my mom's trial with Chelsea was such a fun and relaxing experience. She has an incredible talent for creating a glammed-up version of you while still maintaining your personal style. I felt like the best version of myself! My mom and I were both thrilled with the results and felt even more confident going into the big day.
On the morning of the wedding, Chelsea and her team were an absolute dream. They transformed my bridesmaids and me into a vibrant bunch. Everyone felt confident and beautiful, from the ceremony to the after-party.
I can't thank Chelsea enough for her amazing work. Angeleno Beauty is worth every penny. It's such a special treat to be pampered and feel incredible on your wedding day.

Do not know WHERE to begin! I searched tirelessly for hair and makeup for my big day. I was super particular and Angeleno checked all my boxes and then some. Stephanie was SO professional, prompt and kind. Every artist they work with is fantastic and I love that you get to request and choose any one of them to cater to what you are looking for. Chelsea was magic with the makeup and Dominque worked wonders with my hair! I told them a rough idea of what I wanted and they fulfilled it !!! For my Friday night makeup I wanted mermaid type pearls on my eyes and for my hair on Saturday I wanted something that didn’t even really exist (bridal Mohawk) and they made it happen ! Also the energy they all brought was just magic. Stephanie and Carina came along as well on wedding day and rocked it! They all really set the tone and mood for your day and it makes a huge difference to have people who have good energy, are fun, caring and full of love! All at an amazing and fair price point. Highly highly recommend!!!!

I used Angeleno Beauty for my wedding day and they were absolutely amazing and incredibly professional. Phoebe was our makeup artist and Dominique was our hair stylist. I highly recommend them for your glam! They both listened to my feedback from the trial and truly delivered for the wedding day. Getting ready was actually really enjoyable as my bridal party and the glam team got along so well, it was a relaxing morning, and Phoebe and Dominique finished services early according to schedule. We all felt so beautiful but also like ourselves. Stephanie, the owner of Angeleno Beauty, was also great about checking in and ensuring any questions were answered. Additionally, they were all flexible when changes were needed. I highly recommend Angeleno Beauty for your events and a huge shoutout to Phoebe and Dominique! Thank you so much!
I cannot recommend Angeleno Beauty more highly! I had a great experience from start to finish. Stephanie was so helpful throughout the planning process. She was always accommodating if I needed to make changes (including adding more services the week before) and made me feel comfortable and prepared. I was nervous about my makeup looking too heavy, but Jacqueline did a flawless job creating the exact "natural glam" look I was going for (without a trial). All the other girls who got their makeup done felt the same. Magdalena did an excellent job with the hair as well, recreating everyone's visions beautifully. Choosing hair and makeup artists is a stressful experience, but with Angeleno Beauty, I can confidently say you are in good hands! :)
I hired Angelou Beauty for my wedding in December and had a fabulous experience. Angelou Beauty was hired to do all my bridal parties hair and they did a great job. Christy was a total professional throughout the entire process. She collaborated with our other vendors to help us make our wedding morning timeline and made sure everything ran smoothly. She was great at handling all different types of hair and made sure we all felt beautiful.
Stephanie and her team did an amazing job. Magdalena was my make up artist and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I got many compliments on my make up and people asking me for my make up artist's number! Highly recommend :)
I would highly recommend Angelino Beauty for your wedding day and surrounding events. Magdalena was amazing with both my hair and makeup for the wedding day! She also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. She really nailed the look I was going for and was very patient and accommodating! Stephanie at Angelino was also great with coordinating everything and was also very accommodating with various schedule changes!

Stephanie and Jacqueline were the absolute best and I was so happy to have them do my bridal party and my makeup on my wedding day. From the booking process to the trial and day of Angeleno Beauty made everything easy and enjoyable. Rates were also fair. They were always on time, professional and a lot of fun. It was super important to me as a black woman and having multiple shade ranges in my party that everyones makeup was glowy and not ashy / cakey and they absolutely slayed. 100% recommend!
I found Angeleno Beauty through a google search, after having already interviewed and talked with a few other beauty teams. Stephanie and her team were an absolute delight to work with from the jump. They were responsive, helpful, kind and so reasonably priced! Jaqueline Reyes was my makeup artist and made me feel like the best elevated version of myself. During my trial, she gave me tips and advice on how to care for my skin the weeks prior to the wedding, so that my makeup would sit flawlessly on my skin and last all day. She was so thoughtful and realistic in her suggestions (especially for someone who doesn't tend to wear a ton of makeup), and I felt like I was in amazing hands. The day of, my makeup turned out even better during the trial, thanks to her amazing advice. I was so happy with her amazing work, and still felt like myself, which was very important to me.
I also got to work with Carina Tafulu for my hair and was just as pleased! Carina created the perfect up-do for my wedding and helped to make it work with my veil. She graciously make tweaks and went through a few revisions during the trial. We came up with a game plan for the day of, and it turned out better than I could have ever hoped. My entire bridal party (8 bridesmaids and MOB & MOG) were all very pleased with hair and makeup from the Angeleno team too! I cannot recommend Jaqueline, Carina and the whole Angeleno beauty team enough!
I worked with Angeleno Beauty for my wedding weekend this past Saturday in Huntington Beach, and wow their professionalism and skills just blew me away. I had the great fortune of working with Carina and Jen on the big day.
From the moment that I was put in touch with Angeleno (recommendation of a former bride friend) to wedding day, the level of professionalism exhibited was top notch - they are responsive, transparent and organized in their communications, which I find is not common in this industry.
Then of course is the work that they do - Carina worked on my bridal hair specifically and did such an incredible job, her work just blew me away. She listened, did her magic, iterated and the outcome resulted in the wedding hair of my dreams. I've never felt so beautiful. I absolutely loved my look and felt so amazing throughout the day. It was perfect, elevated, and so "me." I wish i had an event coming up so I could work with Carina again. I would highly recommend Carina specifically as she is someone who is clearly an expert and has taught many other popular hair artists that you might know of on instagram
While I didn't work directly with Jen, I loved the looks that she did on my bridesmaids, my mother and the mothers of the groom. I would venture to guess that any artist under the Angeleno umbrella is very talented as well.
Had a great experience getting my hair done for my wedding even without a trial!!! My bridesmaids all were very happy with their hairstyles as well and it was easy communicating with the team!
Angeleno Beauty was recommended to me by my wedding planner, Jane Alexandra Events, to provide hair and makeup for myself and bridesmaids! From my initial contact, they were extremely professional and provided several options of artists depending on my style needs. I was looking for an artist with glam waves expertise and makeup to match - Christy was the PERFECT fit! Jacqueline also assisted with bridesmaids makeup and did an AMAZING job.
Both artists were fun, extremely skilled, and knew exactly what to use to achieve our vision with all different types of skin tones and hair textures. Things could not have gone smoother, I’m so grateful they were part of my wedding team!
Savannah was an absolute joy to work with! Not only did she make me look my best on my wedding day, but she made me feel my best too. The talent and attention to detail that Savannah displayed was incredible (seriously, this woman spent time adding a single eyebrow hair to balance my brows out). Angeleno beauty was AMAZING for my wedding day! I had needed hair and makeup for 14 people and they handled all the coordinating and scheduling flawlessly. They were professionally, communicative, and very prompt - which made the day completely stress free! On top of that, their artists are incredibly talented. Christy did my makeup and Karina did my hair -- both were phenomenal ! You will not regret using Angeleno Beauty for your wedding!!

Dominique (hair) and Jacqueline (makeup) we’re both incredibly talented and listened closely to my vision for how I wanted to look on my wedding day. All my bridesmaids looked incredible and I never felt more beautiful. They were very organized and prepared for the day, even got through 11 women’s hair and makeup with extra time to spare! I highly recommend!
Carina was my hairstylist and Chelsea did my makeup. They were both exquisite. So kind, warm, funny, made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! They were patient when I couldnt make up my mind and knew exactly what I wanted when I struggled to articulate my needs. Would definitely hire them again for an event!
Christy did my bridal hair and makeup and worked together with Jean to do hair and makeup for my 2 sisters, mom, and aunt. They were both great and listened to what everyone wanted. My family was happy. Christy had also done my hair and makeup trial, so she was familiar with the fact that I don't usually wear makeup. She gave me a perfect natural glam look. Christy also gave me an updo that held strong during a particularly windy day at Palos Verdes Estates. She was amazing and built up my confidence on a nerve-wracking day. Angeleno Beauty is organized and responsive. I will definitely use them for any future hair styling and makeup needs.
There are SO many amazing things to say about Angeleno Beauty. They are all such talented, genuine people. Their packages are so clear and easy to understand, not to mention they had fantastic communication all around.
Phoebe (makeup) and Carina (hair) were a freaking DREAM TEAM. They gave me Beyonce, they gave me fierce, they gave me drama, they gave me red carpet, they gave me my PERFECT wedding look!!! My indecisiveness led me to doing two trials, and each time Phoebe and Carina were so fabulous and easy to work with. Honestly, I just wanted to hang out with them all the time! Phoebe NAILED the looks based on reference and our conversations. She really understands how to work with different skin tones and face shapes! My makeup was flawless all night, and her special foundation formula was BEAUTIFUL. Carina did some MAGIC!! I have short shoulder length hair and decided that I needed long thick 20 inch extensions for the wedding day (all the drama!). She transformed me and my hair so perfectly. She put so much care into each extension application and really elevated the look that I was hoping for. Everyone at the wedding thought it was my real hair!
When the time came for the wedding day they were just as graceful and professional. They each took the time to speak to each person about their looks and even matched their makeup to their outfits (there were 2 additional women for hair/makeup, and 1 male grooming). They all contributed to such an amazing experience leading up to the wedding day and even on the wedding day. I hope that I get to work with them again in the future. 100/10 would absolutely recommend them all. :)
Stephanie and Karolina made me feel and look so beautiful on my wedding day. From the very beginning, Stephanie listened to my vision...I wanted to look fresh and dewy, to look like myself, but with a mix of old Hollywood glam/ethereal/ and HBO euphoria-esque qualities. They delivered spectacularly. My mom and fellow wedding party ladies also looked gorgeous. I love that Stephanie asked for our inspiration pictures ahead of time and kept careful notes about what we envisioned for ourselves. They were so efficient, but never rushing. My hair and makeup lasted all evening, including the gems on my eyelids. The curl in my hair never lost its bounce even as we really partied hardy. Also, we just had a blast with Stephanie!!! We were joking and laughing non-stop. It was such a fantastic way to begin the best day of my life. Thank you so much to Angeleno Beauty!!!
I loved working with Angeleno beauty! Finding a good makeup and hair artist was so important to me (as I think for most brides) and they made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I loved my artists Magdalena and Emerald! The morning of can be anxiety-inducing, but their calm and sweet energy was perfect for getting ready. I highly highly recommend
Working with Angeleno Beauty was an absolute pleasure. Emerald was my all-star hair and makeup expert and Summer was our incredible second artist on site. Both were absolutely lovely to work with, gave each of us exactly what we wanted and it lasted all night! They really fit right in with us and were so fun to have around.
As someone who isn't used to getting hair and makeup done and was a bit self-conscious going in, I can honestly say I never left more beautiful or more confident. Emerald really blew it out of the park.

I was able to do a trial make-up run a few months before my wedding which allowed me to be familiar with Phoebe and her work. This also allowed me to make any adjustments for my final wedding day makeup. I also had Phoebe do the makeup for 4 of my family members/wedding party. Many people had not had their makeup done professionally before and all had a very positive and enjoyable experience. Phoebe did a great job listening to what each of us wanted and made sure we all looked our best throughout the day. She was very friendly and kind, which made it really fun to spend many hours with her prior to my wedding.
My original makeup artist had fallen through and my wedding planner (Dee Lee Designs) put me in touch with Stephanie, who agreed to come during her week off to help when she heard what happened. I was so happy that Stephanie ended up being my makeup artist. I wanted a very natural look, and told her about my concerns and she went above and beyond in making sure I was happy with the makeup. When I couldn't decide on a look she did both, so that I could see which I liked more and always made sure to make me feel comfortable speaking up about what I liked and didn't like. She is truly amazing and beyond talented.

Stephanie saved my big day! The company I hired over a year out canceled hair and makeup less than 3 months out from my wedding. Stephanie has an extremely busy schedule, but made me feel so important from the start and was so accommodating. Her page and portfolio is so impressive and I was so honored to have someone who works with celebrities on a regular basis take me on as a client. She is a great listener, doesn’t push you towards doing something you don’t want, and has the most calming presence about her— that’s something you will appreciate on your wedding day. Thank you, Stephanie! I’ve never looked better.
I hired Angeleno Beauty for my wedding hair/makeup, as well as for my mom, sister and friend. I chose Angeleno because as a mixed race person, I felt they had relevant experience with varied skin tones, eye shapes, hair texture and so on. Stephanie nailed my goal look during our trial and recreated it perfectly on the day. On our trial we worked out a few details and she easily incorporated my feedback. The makeup stayed put very well! No eyelashes lost. I of course had to reapply lipstick, but I'm a messy eater? I don't know, I always have to reapply lipstick, so I think that's me not her. Carina did my hair and it also turned out exactly as I wanted. I felt great, I was glammed up but not over the top, it was more than my "natural beauty" shining through, but that's what I wanted! She was very nice to work with and a pleasure to have around the day of.
I could not be happier with my decision to go with Angeleno Beauty on my wedding day (Stephanie, Emerald, and Karolina). My maid of honor had Stephanie do her makeup for her wedding and I knew she was the natural choice. From the first moment of reaching out she was responsive and professional and helped to meet the specific needs and requests personal to my wedding day. Stephanie was a DREAM to work with, not to mention the coolest chic around. When I look at pictures from our wedding, my hair and makeup is EXACTLY the way I always dreamt of. Just WOW! If you are getting married and looking for someone to do makeup and hair, you NEED Stephanie and the Angeleno Beauty team (Emerald and Lulu). They did an absolutely amazing job for me and my ladies on my wedding day made and made all of us feel SO beautiful. Instead of just doing the same look on everyone, they took into account each of our personal preferences and styles and worked their magic! Beyond talented. Not only that but the make up and hair lasted ALL day - from getting ready at 5 AM, through the wedding on a 80 degree day, until the after party ended around midnight!
Stephanie was so easy to work with from our first interaction-an excellent communicator, very organized, and a true professional. I originally booked her for an October 2020 wedding but had to postpone due to the pandemic. She was flexible and understanding, even offering to return my deposit if I wasn’t able to book her team for our new date. It helped make a stressful time less stressful! When the wedding day came, the team all arrived on time and were so efficient at getting everyone ready. They were also very down to earth and fun to talk to-something I was so grateful for at 5 AM!

Absolutely amazing. I could not have loved my wedding makeup more, and my mom, mother-in-law, sister, and friends all felt the same. Stephanie and team are professional, stay on time, fun to get ready with, and most importantly, work gorgeously with all skin tones. Could not recommend her more highly.
Stephanie and the Angeleno Beauty Team are a MUST-HAVE, especially on your big day! Stephanie is an absolutely gem and she is so easy to work with. Her communication style is prompt, straight-forward, and organized, so you definitely don't have to worry about being ghosted or hardly hearing from her.
On the big day, Steph and her team (Emerald, Vanessa, and Magdalena) arrived early to set up and immediately get through all 10 ladies, including myself! The makeup and hair process for all my bridesmaids and moms went SUPER smooth from start to finish. Even when the moms were running a little late, Steph and her team went with the flow and moved forward with the next lady that was ready to go. All my ladies were super happy with their hair and makeup looks, and also made the comment that this was the most stress-free, smooth, and easy to work with team they've ever seen.
Emerald did my bridal hair and makeup and absolutely rocked it! I fully trusted in her and she did NOT disappoint in the slightest. My makeup and hair lasted all day long, even through all the tears, sweat, and guest interaction. The proof was all there when we received our wedding photos and saw how gorgeous everyone looked. Stephanie made me look and feel beautiful on my big day. All of my bridesmaids kept commenting that this was the best professional makeup they've ever had, and this was the first time my mom has ever had her makeup done and I could tell it really made her feel special and gave her a nice confidence boost. The Angeleno Beauty team was so accommodating and helpful. My wedding morning was so fun and peaceful hanging out with Emerald and knowing my hair and makeup were going to be perfect. Angeleno Beauty was the best beauty team I could have asked for. They made me and all my ladies feel so beautiful. Stephanie and Dominique were so kind and down to earth. I worked with Stephanie to help schedule my hair and makeup with Lulu for my engagement photos. Both of them were very warm, friendly, and very professional. Stephanie was very patient with all my questions and wrote me back very quickly. She was able to accommodate me when I requested services only a week in advance!
Lulu was right on time, and finished in time for me to leave for my photoshoot. She was very professional, asked me about my skin type, any areas of concern, etc. and made my skin look flawless, dark circles gone! She was very kind to answer my questions on what kinds of products she was using. She was totally open to any changes I requested. The photos turned out wonderful and I looked great all night. She was also cool with my dog hanging around.

I first reached out to Stephanie before the Covid-19 restrictions began. I really loved the portfolio work I saw from her and the rest of the team, and Stephanie reassured me that she and another artist could do not only my hair and makeup, but also the rest of my bridal party and 3 guests. Reserving and booking my date only required a small deposit, and so we were all ready to go! That is until everything was turned upside down...
Being a Covid bride, my fiancé and I were hopeful that we could still have our wedding in October. However as the months progressed and the number of cases were obviously getting worse, we finally made the tough decision to postpone our 150+ guest wedding. Angeleno Beauty was absolutely understanding and accommodating to our postponement decision. After some time and patience, we finally agreed on the new 2021 date and Stephanie was completely accommodating and understanding to it all at no extra charge.
My fiancé and I then made the last minute decision to still marry one another, but keep the big wedding celebration in 2021. Stephanie was more than understanding and down with our new plan despite not being available to provide the service herself. She introduced us to Emerald, who also shares years of hair and makeup experience, and immediately organized and booked a hair/makeup trial before the elopement. Having met and worked with Emerald, I can confidently say that she is one of the most friendliest, accommodating, and talented artists I've ever met. Emerald was very mindful about Covid-19 restrictions and work a mask throughout the entire service, sanitized everything, and kept at a safe distance. Her professionalism, kindness, and talent reassured me that I made the right decision in hiring Angeleno Beauty.
On the day of the elopement, Emerald arrived right on time and immediately got to setup and work. Emerald used the entire time to get my MOH and my hair and makeup done. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out for our wedding! My fiancé kept telling me over and over again how beautiful and gorgeous I was the entire day and the hair and makeup lasted all throughout the day and night. I'm very much looking forward to hopefully work with Stephanie and Emerald again at next year's wedding celebration and thank them SO MUCH for all they've done thus far!!!
Stephanie is a wonderful human, makeup artist, and hair stylist! I had a COVID era wedding, and she was very accommodating and safe. She also works in the entertainment industry and abided by industry standards for safety in preventing COVID. I had asked her to make my eyes look big, and the way she did my lashes and eye makeup, my eyes popped beautifully for pictures! I didn't want to take the makeup off!
Covid brides beware! I booked through Stephanie in March 2020 based on her stellar reviews. Because the pandemic had just started, I confirmed with her that we would be able to move the date with no extra charge before booking with her. She said that although the deposit is non-refundable, we could move the date without penalty.
Today we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to 2022. We are set on having a spring wedding and our venue let us know that they likely cannot accommodate us in the way we would hope this spring. Every other vendor, including our makeup artist, graciously accommodated the change and honored their promises to not charge us an additional fee. Stephanie insisted that this was unreasonable and quoted us a cumulative $300+ to keep with current prices. When we asked her to honor her promise she refunded our deposit instead.
I understand the financial pressures of the pandemic, but she made a promise and did not honor it, which is a deal-breaker for me on such an important day. I understand there are other considerations on her part, but as a bride reliability is the most important thing. She made a sad and stressful day for me even harder. I would recommend finding another vendor that keeps their word (like my other wonderful vendors did).
Stephanie is a talented makeup artist who has crafted the ability to enhance the natural beauty of women. She is able to give you the glam without the overdone look. She made me and my wedding party feel so beautiful. She’s incredibly warm, attentive and accommodating.
Hiring Angeleno Beauty was one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. From the very start, Stephanie, who runs Angeleno Beauty, made me feel like I was in such great hands. I chose Vanessa P. as my makeup artist and Christy Y. as my hairstylist. Both are so down to earth, very attentive, and made me feel so at ease! I feel like I’ve known them for ages.
During my trials, Vanessa and Christy asked me lots of questions about my personal style and what I’m comfortable wearing—both on my face and in my hair. Plus, they answered any and all of my questions and really got to know the look I was trying to perfect with my dress. And they totally nailed it! They also took lots of photos/videos and made sure I wore everything for the rest of the day—to ensure I was okay once everything was settled and “worn in.” They were also totally open to any changes I wanted to make.
Our wedding landed on March 14—literally the day before the nationwide COVID-19 shutdowns. As you can imagine, stress levels were off the charts (not just between us, the bride and groom, but guests as well), and everything was just utter madness. Vanessa, Christy, and Amber took care of the whole bridal party (plus, my mom!) that morning to make sure we felt beautiful.
Throughout all the mayhem, they were calm, cool, collected, professional, comforting, and so, so friendly. They’re the kind of team you want on your side when you’re a complete mess—or going through the onset of a global pandemic. Plus, they gave us all little kits so we can touch up our makeup.
My bridal party and I looked FANTASTIC the day of and in our photos. Our makeup and hair literally lasted for over 12 hours—from the morning and until the afterparty. My own bridal makeup didn’t even smudge throughout my happy tears. And my hair lasted through over 8 hours of lots and lots of dancing.

Stephanie is amazing! She is so knowledgeable about her craft and makes you feel at-ease during a stressful time! I knew 30 min. into my makeup trial that she was the one. She is great about having an open conversation about what you like, don't like, and how you envision yourself looking on your special day. I didn't know what to expect the morning of my wedding (if I would be cool, calm, collected, frantic, crazed...) and when I was in Stephanie's chair she helped me sit in my thoughts and just take it all in, while making me look absolutely beautiful!! I really appreciate that I still looked like me at the end of the day, not overly done-up or fake-looking and you can really tell in my photos. She is also experienced in doing makeup for all ranges of skin tones which was very important to me (I'm Filipina, one of my bridesmaid's Chinese, my mom-in-law and other bridesmaid are African-American). I cannot thank her enough for making us feel absolutely amazing and will recommend her 1000x over!

Stephanie did an amazing job listening to what I wanted and making it a reality. She understood that I needed to see my freckles a little bit and that I needed to be more rosy in the cheeks than your average person to feel like myself. She doesn’t air brush you, which was the big issue for me since that covered up all my freckles in my other trials. She nailed my complexion! She was very patient and it really felt like we were working together collaboratively to nail my look. Dominique did a great job on my hair, giving it volume in the front so it wouldn’t look flat on the thinner side of my part and she gave me beautiful curls that stayed out of my face. I got married on New Year's Eve and originally thought that I wanted dramatic make-up to match the dramatic evening. While Stephanie complied in our trial, she intuitively realized that maybe someone who only ever wears foundation and mascara may not feel her best self in such a bold look. She was thoughtful in helping me, the make-up illiterate, articulate what I actually wanted and both patient and thorough as we tried different looks to achieve that. I had the best experience working with Brides by Stephanie for my wedding hair and makeup. First of all, I'm not an easy bride because getting my makeup done makes me very nervous! I like a very natural look, and am so particular about what I like so I always do my own makeup.

Stephanie specializes in enhancing your natural beauty and features, not covering them up with tons of unnecessary makeup. Dominque is a master of hair and she effortlessly made my mom, sister and I all look incredible. We had nothing complicated done, but the was skill was evident in the simplicity and the fact that our hair held its look the entire night. Stephanie wasn't available to complete our makeup, so Veronica stepped in. I wear make up daily, but keep it super simple. Veronica was able to keep everything looking natural while enhancing a my eyes to help add something special to the look. I felt incredibly comfortable all day and night. In addition to be being incredibly talented everyone I worked with was professional and personable, making the whole wedding process slightly less stressful. If I ever need to get my hair and make up done again, I would instantly contact Stephanie and her team.

We did my trial a few weeks before my wedding, and Stephanie was patient and took the time to understand the look that I wanted. It was important to me that I didn't get the cookie-cutter bride look, and instead, I wanted a look that would match the vibe of my wedding while still looking relatively natural. I was so happy about the trial look and I didn't think it could get any better, but then the wedding happened (:
Day-of was insane with all 7 bridesmaids, my mother, my grandmother, etc. getting ready and hanging out in the room but Stephanie didn't mind one bit (or at least she didn't show it). She did a unique look on each one of my bridesmaids while still keeping with the theme that I wanted. Even when I had last minute additions or requests, she handled them with ease. She is amazing! I will use Stephanie for all events in the future where I need makeup done!

I have to admit it, I'm REALLY glad my friends talked me into getting professional hair and makeup done for my wedding. It really was well worth the price! I found Stephanie via the Knot, but we never met. She was more of a behind the scenes coordinator and I ended up having Veronica for makeup and Dominique for hair. They are both amazing and took great care of me and the two moms. Stephanie's whole team is the utmost of professionals. Highly skilled, punctual, detailed and creative. We did a trial run before the event, and it made the wedding day smooth sailing. I really felt comfortable in their capable hands. As the wedding approaches, things get really chaotic and this was one less thing to worry about. Treat 'cho self to this! It's sooooo worth it!

She was so helpful in corresponding with me about all of her different artists and who might be a good fit in terms of making my wedding look a reality.
