Unethical and Dishonest!!
I am so disappointed to write this review because I am not a negative person but I feel brides should know that there are people in this industry who are dishonest and don't have good business ethics. I reached out to ...Angeliki and inquired about booking for the wedding. I found her prices to be the best so we booked a date for the trial. In our communication, which was all via text, she told me that she has a makeup artist she works with and that her fee of $200 would include her for makeup. About 3 days before the trial she informed me that the makeup artist was sick and in the hospital and she could not come. She said she would find another makeup artist to fill in for her. At that point, I asked her IF THIS WOULD INCUR AN EXTRA COST. She assured me everything was included in the $200 price. She came and did my trial which I paid $100 for just my hair. We would reschedule for the makeup artist as it was such short notice to find a new one in time for the trial. She left me the contract and said I needed to give her 25% for the deposit upon signing the contract. About a week later she sends me contact information for the new makeup artist who then sent me a price list via email for $350 to do my makeup!! When I asked Angeliki why, she said that was the MA's fee...I was confused. She basically said she told me this and that her own fee is $200 since she does makeup on the side (which she also never told me). I was so disappointed for obvious reasons. I even said ok fine since she already did my trial, and I can't afford to pay $350 for my makeup, I can do my own makeup, how much for you to just do my hair? She said it would STILL be $200 even though she wasn't doing my makeup!! I told her this was dishonest and unfair to which she basically just reiterated this was her base price. Didn't even TRY to make it right. So I decided I would NOT do business with a dishonest, unethical business owner.
