Sarah was incredibly professional as I was trying on dresses, providing her expert opinion, but not being pushy at all. The dresses are also very reasonably priced (definitely cheaper than Kleinfeld!) Once I had selected my dress, Sarah explained that it would take about 4-6 months to make, and I was thrilled when my dress arrived early! Sarah requires all clients to do 3 dress fittings, with a set alteration fee. The fittings were great - each time my dress became more customized to my exact size. At all of the appointments, Sarah was very helpful. By the time we picked up my dress a few days before the wedding, it was perfect! We also received very clear instructions on how to care for the dress before the wedding, and how to bustle it after the reception. I truly only have positive things to say about my experience with Angelique Bridal. I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the NYC area!

Sarah is very responsive and communicative about everything you need to know about the timeline, costs, etc. She makes you feel like the only customer she works with and is very organized. Also, my dress had a corset, which made its shape exactly what I wanted. When I went to other stores, dresses with corsets were twice the price. When I asked for dresses like Sarah's at Sarah's price, they nearly laughed me out of the store. If you get your dress from here, you will be a very happy bride.

It was refreshing to meet Sarah and visit her non-threatening atelier where she really took the time to understand what I was looking for and gave sensible advice based on my body type and complexion. Having the atelier all to yourself during the appointment is also great - it means you have her undivided attention and no stress from seeing other brides around. I also needed to find a unique dress, given that several of my friends were getting married this summer and we were the last one of the group. Angelique Bridal is one of the few NYC boutiques that carries Essence dresses which were perfect for my ballroom romantic style and price point. (Sarah is also a designer and her own gowns are available in the store - if you want something really unique!) Within two visits I had found and signed up for the dress (without any pressure... unlike at other stores!) and Sarah made the process very easy after that. It took a while for the dress to be shipped in from Australia but she kept me up to date, worked with me to make sure alterations would be done in time (we had a destination wedding) and answered all my silly questions (how do you travel with such a big dress, do you wear a bra underneath, etc.) Just what a nervous bride needs! She also recommended some alterations to the dress which turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! Given the high level of service and all-in alterations fee it was extremely good value, too, so I couldn't have asked for more. I heartily recommend Angelique Bridal to other brides.

tise. The owner Sarah is nice, personable and makes you feel like she is actually part of your life not just a sales person. She was so cooperative as I live 4 hours from the bridal shop and fittings needed to be arranged taking travel time into account. Her kindness made her go above and beyond most. The alterations were exact and my dress was comfortable and fit like a glove which wasn't easy as I had lost over 50 pounds before my wedding. Sarah knows what looks best on each body type and is honest. I can say without reservations that she was a great force in making my wedding planning experience perfect and my wedding day the best day I could have ever asked for.

She didn't pressure me and worked within my budget. I bought a dress that needed to be altered from strapless to one with intricate lace straps but trusted her completely to make the dress exactly how I envisioned it. The salon is small (which is not a bad thing!) so every time I walked in I got 100% of her attention in her kind, calming manner. She was always very easy to schedule appointments with and I looked forward to seeing my dress at each fitting. I moved out of the city shortly after buying my dress but for every one of my 3 fittings I made a trip back to see Sarah because she was the only one I trusted to make my dress perfect. She truly pays attention to the smallest details. I highly recommend Angelique Bridal Salon to any bride. Beautiful dresses. Amazing service. Very fair prices.
