Her pictures are absolutely fine and capture all of your precious moments that pass by so fast, but she will make them last. I have a lot of friends who had a lot of good things to say about their photographers but I literally want to be Angie's best friend! I wish I could just hire her to follow me around and take our pictures of my life and keep me entertained! Anyone reading this has most likely seen her pictures and already knows that every one of her pictures is exquisite and magazine worthy. What you need to know beyond the fact that you will absolutely 100% love your pictures is that Angie herself is so fun to be around! She's hilarious and disarming which helped my husband relax and actually enjoy himself, she's energetic and acts like a dream wedding guest! The friends of ours that actually made it out to Maui for our destination wedding are already asking for her information for their upcoming weddings (some are not even engaged yet!). I could go on all day about this amazing and talented woman, if your thinking of hiring Angie and like me pictures are the most important part of you day besides actually getting married then look no further!

Where do I begin? Like every bride to be, I started doing research right after getting engaged and started following every wedding related account on Instagram. I stumbled across an image that was so breathtaking, I couldn't stop thinking about it. If you're reading this review, I'm sure you've seen variations of it. After seeing the cliff shot, I knew we had to book Angie as our photographer. She was the reason we decided to elope in Maui. In a leap of faith, we booked Angie a year and half in advance and started planning an elaborate wedding for two without ever having been to Maui or meeting any of our vendors in person until the week of our wedding. Angie was a dream to work with. We had two days with Angie and she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire time! The energy she exudes makes the shoot fun...you forget that you're even taking pictures and can just enjoy being happy and in the moment. My husband even commented on how much he liked Angie and that she was the right decision. We've seen a few sneak peeks, and am so happy with Angie's work. Angie captured beautiful memories and we will forever have these magical moments to remember and look at. If you're looking for a photographer, don't hesitate! Angie was the best decision we could've ever made.

Angie is a bundle of energy and at the same time has a calming effect that allows you to have fun with your photos. She's fantastic with adults and children. I will forever treasure our photographs with the intimate details and vivid colors.

I wish I could properly express mine and my husband's happiness and gratitude that we have for Angie and for her photographs, but I don't know if I can do it justice. Each photograph is so extremely unique and beautiful, and they truly brought us back to our wedding week in Hawaii and reminded us of our happiness all over again. I remember looking for weeks and even months at hundreds of pictures in internet, searching for my wedding photographer and suddenly I found the most beautiful ones taken by Angie. She was my favorite! I contacted her and what a surprise to know that she was born in Peru... same as me! She sent me a very long Email with all kind of suggestions and ideas and it was for me clear that she would be our photographer on such a special occasion. We kept sending Emails for months and she was always so kind to answer all my questions very quick and give me good advice about everything. During the ceremony she was there…but somehow invisible …like a butterfly flying around us but without interrupting the ceremony. After the ceremony we had our photo session in different places; some of them very romantic others very fun and she made us feel very comfortable. I even remember her climbing a Palm tree in order to capture the best angle for the picture! I have seen a couple of our photos and I couldn´t be happier! She is a real artist! They are amazing! I can´t wait to see the other ones! I would highly recommend her to anyone! She is the Mario Testino of Hawaii! Gracias Angie!

There are not enough positive words I can say about Angie. The moment I stumbled on her website and saw the beautiful and artistically unique way she captures some of life's most important moments, I knew I had to have her as my photographer no matter what! I called her about 9 months before my wedding date and in those 9 months I got to know Angie and she got to know me. She was very communicative and really took the time and effort to get to know my personality and style so it was shown through in my photos. We sent "pins" on Pinterest back and forth, and in my mind she truly went above and beyond my expectations even before the wedding. I had shown Angie a Picture of a bouquet and said I was wanting to recreate it on my own. Knowing I was making the bridesmaids bouquet as well, she offered to make my bouquet! Come the day of the wedding I was so excited to work with her. She flew from Maui to Kauai with my bouquet which she had special ordered flowers for and recreated with the greatest of detail. When Angie arrived I gave her the biggest hug and shed tears of joy when I saw my bouquet for the first time. Unfortunately, being on the rainy island of Kauai the moment she arrived the sky opened up. This gave me some anxiety since the ceremony was being held on the beach with no cover. Angie did her job so well for the photos inside with my bridesmaids I had totally forgotten about the weather. When it came time for the ceremony it was still a terrible down pour, but even with all the rain we managed, umbrellas and all. Somehow with the random hotel umbrellas we had to borrow she still made the photos look amazing! Angie herself was soaked but still worked just as hard if not harder to get the perfect shots. I am in love with my rainy wedding photos. Finally, some of my favorite shots were at our reception dinner. She was there for the toasts and captured the beautiful emotion of the speeches. When I look at those pictures I really feel like I am reliving those moments even with nothing to be heard. I know documentary style photography can be difficult but she wowed me. My reception photos are some of the best I've seen. I would recommend Angie to ANYONE and hope to go back to the islands and work with her again someday.

Coming across Angie's website/blog when planning my Maui destination wedding was a true blessing. I knew right away from looking at her work that I wanted her to capture my wedding day on camera. I cannot express how happy I was with this choice. Angie's outgoing, fun-loving personality made it very easy to feel comfortable throughout both our engagement and wedding photography sessions. She also is very knowledgeable about how and where we should pose in order to get the best shot. I also loved her adventurousness....made for some very stunning photos. I honestly can say that I am more than happy with the photo's that Angie took of my husband and I. I'm so grateful that we have such beautiful photos to look back on as we age together. And I will definitely be returning to Angie for family photo's when that time comes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :)

Angie is an amazing person and a good photographer. She was funny, warm and kind. She made us laugh and that helped us relax on our big day. We added a last-minute vows renewal to our itinerary. Hubby & I thought we'll just ask the minister to take our photo with my iphone afterwards (it was the 2 of us, plus 2 kids). We totally weren't planning to have a "wedding quality" photo session but the minister urged us to get a photographer. I emailed several photographers in Maui and Angie agreed to our budget. The quality of our photos were excellent, truly memorable. The turnaround time was slow, though, around 10-15 business days. But I guess that's a reasonable wait time for wedding portfolios that are works of art.

Angie really is a professional who knows how to get the best of us. We were so nervous about the big day, the guests, etc., but she managed to make us feel comfortable and just focus on ourselves and our love, and what was about to happen. We had a wonderful time during the photo-shoot, and the result was a amazing! We are glad to got to book her because we love her fresh style. I will definitely recommend her without hesitation, she is so easy-going, has unique ideas, she is truly an artist. Thank you so much Angie! We will cherish our wedding pictures forever.

Angie was an absolutely wonderful photographer for our wedding. Going into the planning process I was nervous to find a photographer who would make me feel comfortable and capture beautiful, natural shots, and Angie did just that. She is so much fun to work with, and her passion for her career really shines through her photographs. Angie was well organized and managed to get all of the shots we were wanting (which was not an easy feat with two large families to photograph)! My fiance and I were so fortunate to be able to book the inspiring Angie Diaz! After reaching out to several photographers to capture our engagement shoot in Kauai, Angie totally stole the show! She was the only photographer to truly show excitement and her creativity was what closed the deal! We ended up having our photoshoot in Polihale and Angie made us feel comfortable IMMEDIATELY! She was always prompt, polite, and organized and the best part was her pictures were INCREDIBLE!!

Angie is truly an amazing photographer! Her work speaks for itself, but besides that, she is an incredibly easy person to work with. She has a sense of humor, knows how to put her clients at ease and has a very sweet nature. I chose her to photograph my wedding because I loved the style of her photography; it is a lot more artistic than a lot of wedding photography out there. We did an engagement session with Angie last week in Maui, and it was an amazing experience! Not only did Angie put us in a very relaxed and romantic mood, she also showed us some secret location off the beach and got some really cool shots. She went an extra mile to make sure that we had our special moments. Its only later that I found out that we actually exceeded the time we were contracted for---but she didn't rush us to get out at all. She has very artistic eyes and can capture the most special moments of your special days! Totally recommend!

After looking high and low for photographer I finally found Angie. Her work is amazing! She has the ablity to capture unforgettable moments in the best light. Personally, I'm very shy. I refrain from posting daily selfies on instagram. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to produce the perfect engagement shots. Luckily, Angie helped me in posing to get the shots that she knew I would love. My fiance, my dog, and I were able to really enjoy this experience. Overall I was very pleased.
