Angie Lu was able to work her magic and fix my dress within just three days. It looked as if it had never had any work done by the original seamstress she created the most beautiful bustle. If you are looking for a great seamstress Angie Lu is the one to do it!

She did an incredible job with my dress and it fit PERFECTLY when she was done. ade on the alternations. I had different fabrics on my dress that were treated as one rather than separately. Lina does not do the alterations herself, one of her employees does them. After Lina not listening to what I wanted, I removed my dress from her store. There was a tear in the middle of my dress along with some of the appliqué missing. n itself that requires a life long amount of endless evolution and the styles and construction of gowns evolve, but they are also the face of your wedding or special event and can often have to balance the clients nerves, anxieties and insecurities along with the initial job at hand which is to tailor your gown. The shop/studio itself is absolutely beautiful with a newly remodeled alteration section complete with immaculate herringbone floors that you can eat off of, a wet bar, and coffee/espresso. You go in feeling like the only person in the store. Pinning a gown doesn’t take long, it’s completely painless. The service itself is incredible. I walk in and they know me by name, the employees are very nice and accommodating. I’ve had 3 gowns tailored here to perfection and had a custom Italian suit (which they sell in the shop) tailored to perfection. When investing in a special gown, you should also invest in a perfect tailoring job. The 1st thing I notice when at a wedding is a dress that could’ve been perfect, if only the tailoring was taken more seriously. Lena and her employees are invaluable to us and will obviously continue to utilize and refer everyone we know.

I was extremely concerned about the fit of my dress (a dress that wasn't easy to work with), but Lina was so reassuring and accommodating; she allowed me to come in for an extra fitting or two just to make sure I felt confident in the end result. I happily traveled an hour each time I had to go to my fittings, the drive was worth the end result! I highly recommend her and will be sending my bride friends her way for sure!

The night of the wedding the lace that had been sewed back on started to fall off, was embarrassing having to deal with that. Also both of the bustles broke the night of the wedding. They told me it would be hard to bustle because the dress was big (it was a ball gown) but I couldn't of had the first ball gown to be bustled? I don't get why both of mine broke. I ended up having to drag my dress most of the night. I wouldn't return here.

I picked it up my gown one day prior to flying to CT for my wedding only to find that they put white eyehooks across the back of my ivory dress to bustle the train ("you can't see it from far away", she said). So I brought with me to CT a gown that had an obviously bad bustle. My wedding coordinator called Lina and they saw me the day I arrived. They stayed late to fix the problem and so I could try the dress on the next morning and allow them time to make any other alterations if needed, which they didn't. They fixed the error and created a beautiful bustle. Lina's only concern was that I be happy with my dress and never made me feel uncomfortable for the last minute request. And, knowing that I had recently experienced a loss, she was the most gentle and loving person and exactly what I needed to help me through at the time. Lina is the true definition of compassion, generosity and customer service. Amazing, simply amazing. Thank you Lina and team, from the bottom of my heart!

flawless! it was done timely, I went in for maybe 3 fittings, she is willing to do as mang as needed until you are satisfied! she has a lot of experience so listen to her! It is a little bit pricey for sure but worth it!
