ner 5 months before our wedding after having already chosen our venue and a few initial vendors. From the moment she stepped in, she transformed the entire process. I have so many extraordinary things to say about Ani, not only about her talent as a planner but also about her warmth, her energy, and the kind of person she is, that it’s hard to know where to begin but here goes.  I chose a partial planning package because I thought I was too Type A to let go of control, but it turns out that Ani is the Type A soulmate I didn’t know I needed. I suffer from major decision paralysis, and from the minute she joined the process, she brought clarity and structure. She sent me beautifully organized checklists, spreadsheets, and internal deadlines so nothing fell through the cracks. Her reminders were always gentle but effective—never overwhelming. Her organizational skills are truly unmatched.  She also has deep industry connections and helped me secure all remaining vendors—each one a perfect fit. She showed up for everything: tastings, linen selections, floral samples; she stayed in constant communication with every vendor, tracked payment schedules for me, and made sure every detail was executed flawlessly.  Ani is a fierce, tireless and unstoppable go-getter. She will bring your vision to life, and if you don’t yet know what your vision is, she will help you discover it. She has the answer to every question you can imagine, even to those you don’t even know to ask. Throughout the process, we felt like we were her only clients. Her responsiveness is almost superhuman. She always answered texts within minutes, often seconds. And always with an amazing attitude. She makes you feel taken care of in a way that is both comforting and confidence-boosting.  But beyond all that, her personality is the true magic. Wedding planning can be stressful, and emotional, and finding someone you click with is essential. Ani is that person. She is sweet, funny, grounded, and so easy to be around. My family and bridal party are full of big personalities, and Ani navigated everyone with grace. She read the room and knew exactly what each person needed. Everyone loved her. We became friends and remain friends years later. You can be completely yourself with her. She will talk you off every ledge - wedding related or not. She  is young, charming, vibrant, diligent, and radiates this incredible positive energy without being over the top. She is the exact person you want by your side on your wedding day.  Her team is equally great, going above and beyond. For example, I unexpectedly got my period the morning of my wedding. Before I could even process the panic, someone from her team had sprinted out, bought tampons, and returned before I even knew she’d left. That’s the level of care you get with Ani.  I would hire her again in every lifetime. My wedding was the happiest, most fun day of my life, and I owe so much of that to Ani. If you’re lucky enough to get a chance to work with her, do not hesitate. She is extraordinary.

onths leading up to our wedding was insanely busy for us outside of wedding planning. Still, Ani always reduced our stress and made our wedding tasks manageable. My husband got to saying, “in Ani we trust.” We got so many compliments on every aspect of our wedding. Several friends said it was the best they’d been to in years. Ani made that happen for us. Hiring her was the best wedding decision we made.

ff immediately afterward. Looking back, the warning signs were there. By 8 months out she was already taking weeks to respond, and the lack of follow through only got worse. Attention to detail was nonexistent. During our monthly check ins she repeatedly asked the same basic questions, including whether we were doing a DJ or a band. She told us at 6 months out that she had secured a DJ retainer, but after 3 months of vague updates she admitted she had never contacted the vendor at all. We were then forced to find a last-minute option during a popular wedding weekend and ended up booking a DJ through a friend. Budget management was sloppy and unreliable. She went over budget and regularly missed large sums and outstanding invoices in the spreadsheet she maintained. I eventually had to track and manage every payment myself because her numbers could not be trusted. Communication became one of the worst parts of the process. She ignored emails for days or weeks at a time. When we were trying to print our invitations, she told us she had already sent everything to the printer. After hearing nothing for weeks, I contacted the vendor directly and learned she had never submitted anything. Our invitations went out late because of this. During that period she also blocked me from viewing her Instagram stories even though she was actively posting from events instead of responding to us. Vendor coordination and follow through were incredibly poor. She booked a shuttle vendor that failed to return to our venue on the wedding night, leaving guests stranded. She repeatedly canceled scheduled calls with me and my family. She also failed to follow through on small commitments, like promising she would stop by our tasting and then simply not showing up or acknowledging it. The wedding weekend reflected the same pattern of negligence. She insisted she should be the one to put my veil on and even asked my hairstylist how to secure it properly. Despite this, she never put the veil on me. I did not notice until it was too late and as a result I never got to wear my veil. The rehearsal she led the day before lasted about 5 minutes and was so vague and rushed that we had noticeable fumbles before the ceremony. By the final 3 months, I was effectively doing all of the planning myself. I had to re-check every catering order and review every detail because I no longer trusted her judgment. During this time I asked her multiple times if she genuinely felt capable of doing the job and explicitly gave her the option to step away if she could not meet the expectations of the contract. She repeatedly insisted she could handle it. At that point it felt like she stayed only to collect the rest of her fee. When we pressed for an explanation for her declining performance, she cited her divorce. While I sympathize with anyone navigating a difficult time, it didn't excuse the lack of professionalism, missed tasks, or the impact on our wedding. By then we had paid most of her fee and felt trapped by sunk costs. In the end, I handled the majority of the planning myself while still paying close to $15k for services that caused more stress than support. Our wedding was beautiful in spite of the planning, not because of it. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working with her at all.

Agreed upon tasks were not completed with no explanation, requiring last minute assistance from family members and the bridal party. Despite several reminders and false promises, Ani failed to distribute the wedding day schedule to the wedding party and family.  Without the distribution of the promised schedule, there were missed photos with family and close friends due to confusion on arrival times. The bride and groom had to manage day-of schedule logistics themselves. Further, there was a lack of communication of a change by Ani to those who were scheduled to speak during the reception. The lack of coordination created uncertainty and unnecessary stress for the Maid of Honor and Best Man on the timing of their speeches. The Father-Of-The Bride was surprised to receive a 30-second notice before it was time for him to give his speech. Something as simple as this, especially with repeated requests to update our most important guests on the scheduling, should have never been missed. Ani inaccurately reported the number of vendors/staff at the reception, which resulted in unnecessary expenses that I have been unable to recover. The emails and formal letter sent to Ani in hopes of amicably discussing our concerns have gone unanswered, further demonstrating her lack of accountability and professionalism. 

Woff on "The Knot" are more consistent with our recent experiences with this wedding planner. We attempted to address our concerns with Ani Wolff directly, but did not receive a response. I am sending this review as a heads-up to all future brides. Ani Wolff left us disappointed with the absence of many deliverables as outlined in her contract, in addition to her lack of communication in the days leading up to the wedding. As the Father-of-the-Bride, I should have paid my daughter for all the work she did to coordinate her own wedding. This review could have detailed all the things that Ani Wolff Weddings promised and did not deliver that resulted in unnecessary expenditures on our end. Based on my disappointment with her services and lack of response, I can only provide a rating of one star!

xperienced, and genuinely friendly, exactly what we were looking for in a wedding planner. Unfortunately, our experience changed dramatically in the final stretch before our wedding. After paying our third installment in July 2025, communication with Ani completely stopped. Emails, texts, and calls went unanswered for weeks as our wedding date quickly approached. Monthly meetings were routinely canceled without explanation or rescheduling. At first, we tried to be understanding, life happens, and people get busy. But total silence from someone we trusted to be our guide through the planning process was deeply upsetting. It left us scrambling to fill critical gaps on our own and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time. Out of desperation, our sister-in-law sent a fake inquiry to see if Ani was even still working. She responded almost immediately, and even followed up to set up an in-person meeting. It was heartbreaking to realize she was choosing to ignore us while continuing to take on new clients. Meanwhile, she continued to post actively on social media and attend events, yet never once reached out to us with a simple update or explanation. Even a brief note saying she could no longer continue would have been kinder than leaving us in limbo for nearly two months, during the most important stage of planning. Thankfully, we eventually brought on a new coordinator who completely saved our wedding, but we were left hurt and disappointed by the lack of accountability. To this day, we still don’t know why she stopped responding. We’re sharing this review not out of anger, but to help other couples make an informed decision. Weddings are time-sensitive and emotional — reliability and communication should be the foundation of your vendor team. No couple should have to experience this kind of stress or uncertainty so close to their wedding day. We also wish we had seen the previous, eerily similar review before booking, it seems this is part of a clear pattern. We would strongly encourage couples to consider other planners.

After paying Ani over 50% of her contract amount, there were several points in time where she would go completely AWOL, ignoring emails, texts, phone calls, voicemails, and even instagram messages for multiple weeks at a time. All while posting on social media with prior wedding pics and marketing for potential future clients. After a first scare where she disappeared for weeks but then resurfaced, she once again went radio silent after a regular monthly meeting with multiple time-sensitive action items outstanding… Such as helping us get our wedding invites out, finalizing a makeup artist contract, and helping book afterparty food and logistics. As a result of her disappearance, we didn’t just end up having to scramble to get these things done, we actually ended up having to pay more for contractors she was sent quotes for but never passed along to us to in time. She ignored our exceedingly polite messages pointing out these issues and asking to address them, even messages asking if everything was okay given the concerning total disappearance. All in all, by switching a few months out, we actually ended up saving money versus what we still were supposed to pay Ani. But honestly, thank god, because it definitely saved us many more months of anxiety and unnecessary stress. It’s unfortunate as Ani did have a good rolodex for some vendors, but it’s not worth the frustration. To this day we still have not received any explanation or apology, which strikes me as odd for someone working in this business. If you do have no choice but to sign with Ani, I would recommend adding a clause in the contract regarding communication expectations which if not met will require a reimbursement of prior payments.

t meeting with her, it was clear that partnering with her would set us up for success, and that she was made to bring order and flawless execution to the fun, but sometimes chaotic, process that is planning a wedding. It would be too easy to say that Ani is detailed oriented - she showed us this on our first venue visit, pointing out the important pros and cons to us, and asking the venue rep the important questions that we would have never thought of. But Ani’s true skill, at least to us, is that she cares. She cared about our vision, our preferences, and our opinions, and that’s really a testament of how much she loves what she does. Whether it was dealing with the multiple vendors, putting pen to paper and coming up with a mood board for us to piece together our vision, or organizing all contracts and budgeting, Ani was always one step ahead when it came to keeping things in check, and so very calm! We found the tools she provided us with, including the docs, checklists, vendor options, (and even restaurant recs for our honeymoon!) all to be extremely helpful throughout the planning process. It was also extremely helpful that she’s worked with so many of our vendors before, and knew who to go to for what - they all were amazing. Her flexibility and ability to adapt to any environment or any request we had is admirable. But perhaps even more important for us was her ability to give us her genuine opinion, this you can’t put a price on. Ani made our special weekend more than we ever knew it could be - it was all perfect. Her team is amazing, too. They were all organized, efficient, patient and so kind. For our rehearsal dinner and wedding, we literally had nothing to worry about - everything was executed more than perfectly!! Ani is more than a wedding planner to us, but now a lifelong friend, which we are so grateful for!! We would definitely recommend Ani and team to plan your wedding!!!

great from start to finish. She is super organized (has everything tracked in Google and Asana) so always knows where everything is. She stayed on top of the tons of vendors that I had, and made sure every single contract was fulfilled, signed, and paid. I’m so grateful for that because that is the worst part of planning a wedding! She was highly communicative with me and could be reached at a moments notice. She was very helpful to my mom and mother-in-law and was responsive to their needs as well. The lead up to the wedding, she was incredibly thorough with everything I needed, and recommended great vendors when I needed recommendations. Ani is very good with feedback- I asked her to be very direct with me and she absolutely did that which really helped me to know the status of everything. On the day of the wedding, she was beyond incredible. She managed the entire day flawlessly. I’m sure there were things that happened (as it happens with all events) but she fixed them so quickly that no one even noticed. Every single person from my family involved in the wedding process was very very happy with Ani’s work on the day. Everyone knew what to do and where to go, and the vendors were managed flawlessly. I felt so calm during the weekend because I didn’t feel like I had to worry about anything- Ani was on it. I highly recommend her for even the most complex and large weddings- she really nailed it and was so pleasant to work with on top of that!

Ani aced the essentials of wedding planning: coordinating with vendors to free up our time, staying organized, having plans and backup plans, communicating well (not burdening us with details, but keeping us in the loop and involving us on key issues), and being proactive. But what made her stand out, and are truly excellent planner, was her personal touch: getting to know us, understanding what we liked and how we liked it, and truly caring about making our wedding day wonderful. Ani has great empathy and could tell when we needed something, even if we couldn't articulate it, both in the planning phase and on the day of the wedding. We felt we were in such good hands. Also bonus points for pulling a rabbit out of a hat at the last minute on our wedding day when our DJ (a close friend) wanted to extend the rental on his equipment so we could bring it to the afterparty. I didn't even know Ani was aware of this idea, but at one point during the reception she mentioned that it was all sorted, and we had an afterparty for the ages. We couldn't recommend Ani more strongly! :)

After deciding to work with her, we met on a monthly cadence to discuss options for things like venue, vendors, details, and timelines. She kept track of all of our details on a project management platform to which we had access. This kept us on track with what we had to work on, well ahead of schedule with most decisions, and relatively stress-free throughout the process. When it came to venues, vendors, and purchases, Ani did a great job of taking our expectations, budget, and general intended vibe for our wedding to source the right people/things. She has a great pulse on the best folks to work with and matched us up to 3-5 options to choose from. They were all amazing which made decision-making tough — a great problem to have! Ani is also flexible and consultative in how she works with you. We thought we had a clear idea of the kind of venue we wanted, but the first one we decided to look at (and ultimately the one we went with) was a departure from that. Ani was sure to check in with us to communicate that, but she swung with us when we we expressed interest in things we hadn’t fully entertained before. I would recommend having some idea of what you’d like, but just know that Ani is easily able to help you fill in the gaps. Overall, the planning process was seamless and Ani kept us on schedule so that we really weren’t stressed out about any of the logistical and aesthetic details of the wedding, giving us plenty of space to manage the personal parts of planning. As for the weekend of the wedding, Ani, Gab, and Gab ran the show like the pros that they are. Ani was there to orchestrate our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and welcome party and everything went off without a hitch. This gave us the ability to be fully present with our guests. The day of the wedding was no different. Ani and her team were the first people we saw when we started preparing for the day at the crack of 8am. Ani had a very solid timeline that was shared with all of our vendors and the venue and we stuck to it. They did an amazing job of getting all of our VIPs into position for the events of the day like hair/makeup, photos, and lunch. Ani was even sure to align with our VIPs on fielding questions and concerns about various things throughout the day. Basically, Ani and her team were there to manage any and all issues that popped up (hardly any did), so we could be free to be excited about getting married! She took the very few high-stress moments and brought us back down to earth. Like I said, working with Ani was the best decision we made for our wedding. We were lucky to have met her and planned our wedding with her, and our only regret is that we don’t get to plan another wedding with again soon.

ur August wedding and were traveling the month before our wedding day. Ani was super flexible and worked with us ahead of time on vendor meetings, scheduling, and day of itinerary, so we could enjoy our vacation without having to worry about a thing. On the day of, her and her team executed every detail of our itinerary perfectly. Our schedule was tight because we had a traditional ceremony at a church before the reception and we ended up ahead of schedule and finishing all of our photos in time to enjoy or cocktail hour (which was something that was really important to us). Her and her assistant were there to help to orchestrate our ceremony music, track down multiple bridesmaids' lost cellphones, and fix my problematic bustle throughout the night. If anything else went wrong, we don't even know about it because Ani and her team took care of everything while we enjoyed our special day together and with our family/friends. We will be recommending her for all of our friends weddings. Hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding day!

On the day of the wedding, we worked with Helen from Ani's team and she was an absolute angel. She was calm, a very soothing presence to be around, and helped with everything big and small. She seemed to anticipate my every need, from steaming my dress in the morning, to arranging lunch as we got our hair make up done, to bustling my dress before the first dance, handing me and my husband waters out on the dance floor, and helping me change into a second look - she was everywhere I needed her! I seriously don't know what I would have done if we hadn't booked with Ani and her team! I'll forever be grateful to Ani and Helen for making the wedding of my dreams a reality, and keeping me calm through the whole process.

We interviewed multiple planners - while other planners took their time and tentatively/slowly gathered information and threw out tentative ideas, Ani even in our first interview meeting took control, gathered our preferences and laid out a plan and timeline regarding our wedding - we immediately knew that she was head and shoulders above all the other wedding planners and it had to be her. From then on, it was efficient, smooth, and productive. Ani would have regular meetings with us, keeping us on schedule with all the tasks and prioritizing each in sequence for us. She drew on her wealth of experience and connections planning weddings in this area, giving us multiple great options that we had to simply pick from (saving us the time of doing our own research). She accompanied us to every venue visit and helped us with negotiations and planning down to every single detail, making sure every small detail was in place, even multiple things we never even considered or thought of. As the wedding drew closer, neither my wife nor I felt any anxiety, because we felt completely comfortable that Ani had planned and thought of every detail possible. The wedding ultimately ended up being absolutely everything we could have dreamed of - beautiful, smooth, and at the same time reflecting each of our personal characters that we had conveyed to her early on. Ani was there personally shepherding everyone and making sure everything went off without a hitch. Multiple wedding guests even specifically came up to us unprompted and told us how professional and organized Ani was throughout the entire evening, even after the main wedding/ceremony was over. We could not have asked for a better dream wedding, it was perfect down to the last detail. We could not have done it without Ani. If you're looking to start planning the perfect wedding in the New York/Jersey area and are looking for an all-inclusive wedding planner, there IS NO BETTER OPTION than Ani!

Ani Wolff's pinpoint management of our wedding day in New York elevated the occasion for us as bride and groom; and for our vendors, who have had nothing but positive feedback after working with Ani. Upon reflection of her work and her format, Ani crushed our expectations. She did an outstanding job in getting to know us and our preferences, put us on a schedule to plan the wedding, and kept those plans on track. One night we spent two hours going through a checklist, after which we never had to discuss those items again - she just took care of everything. There are a few other attributes of Ani's partnership that we sincerely value. She kicked ass during the rehearsal of our wedding. We had big grins on our face as she efficiently led the process, putting our family and friends into place and clearly articulated what's going to happen next. fter beginning to work with Ani it was like a huge weight was lifted and we could enjoy the lead up to the event as well as every minute of the big day. She took over all communications, seamlessly wrangled everyone in our large wedding party, effortlessly moved crowds in central park so our photographer could get the perfect shots, and got us out of the door at the end of the night so we could continue the party while she tied up all the loose ends on site. She is nothing short of excellent to work with and we've already recommended her to friends getting married soon! We never felt overwhelmed in the process. In the days leading up to our wedding everything started coming together. Our expectations were that things were going to get hectic. While we definitely had some exciting moments leading up to the wedding including the birth of a new niece, everything was going very smooth on the wedding side. Ani took care of everything. On the day of the wedding Ani was there every step of the way from ordering lunch to making sure my makeup artist had everything she needed. She came to my hotel room while I was getting ready and didn’t leave my side until the wedding was over. Throughout the day, Ani handled everything and somehow still managed to always be by my side when I needed her. During our ceremony which was held outdoors there was a brief period of drizzle during our vows, and like any bride I started to panic. Before I knew it, I had a beautiful clear umbrella covering me and the stress melted away. It felt likes she was in our minds and anticipated our needs before we could verbalize them and that put us at such ease on our big day. It allowed us to just enjoy the day. I tell my husband I wish I could relieve that day again because it was like a movie. I have no doubt in my mind without Ani that could not have been possible. If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner take it from us you will not be disappointed she is the best!

I would have had multiple panic attacks if I did not have Ani helping prior to the wedding and the day of. Ani showed up at 6:50 AM at the wedding day ready to jump in. She was by my side the entire day and made sure everything happened flawlessly. There was never a moment Ani was not running around making sure everything was perfect. From ensuring breakfast was arriving, getting my vendors to the correct rooms, helping carry my train, helping me in and out of my gown, bringing us water, getting our wedding party and family in the correct places, making sure my husband and I took time to ourselves, checking in to see if we needed anything, and so much more. All I can say is I could not have done it with out her and I am most grateful she was at my wedding. My best advice to anyone planning a wedding is hire Ani! We had numerous meetings through Zoom and she even accompanied us on a venue tour. She was always available for emails, texts, and calls. Her hands on approach really made me feel at ease. For the actual wedding day Ani worked from the start of the day through the very end. She was always attentive, caring, professional, and calming.
